Fun family dinner meal and activity! Reservations needed for larger parties, but this was a great way to gather with a group than included kids, parents and older adults. Food had large servings and was decent for the experience - I'd only go back if it was for the bocce too. Very family friendly environment

Came here for a work lunch outing and had a fabulous time! Started with lunch and ordered the meatball sub and started with the calamari appetizer and a cup of cream of mushroom soup. The calamari was perfectly breaded and fried, and the cream of mushroom soup was delicious. The meatball sub was also delicious and very filling! We followed lunch with bocce and our server showed us how to play. You get 80 minutes of court time and it was more fun then I thought it would be. We had a great work function and all enjoyed ourselves! We will be back!

We were a large group of 9 on a summer Tuesday night and the place was pretty empty. Good for us but bad for business. Service was efficient & friendly. Overall food was decent, not bad but nothing super special. Bocce was tons of fun with our teenage kids, though a bit in the pricey side. That night it was $13/person for 80 minutes. The calamari appetizer was fresh & tender, lightly breaded and not overly fried, but a bit lackluster with just marinara for dipping, an aioli would elevate this app easily. The Eggplant Tosca was lightly breaded & fried and very good. The spinach artichoke dip had great flavor, chips were light & crispy. Pasta Carbonara, Capellini with Bolognese, and Chicken Parmigiana were nothing special. Tortellini Pesto had great flavor, tortellini was on the al dente side, and chicken was nice and tender.

The atmosphere, service, food was amazing! The food came out really fast. Tasted really fresh.

The atmosphere felt very casual--there was a huge bar in the middle with some booths and tables surrounding. There were TVs playing the Tigers game. For my drink, I ordered an espresso martini and really enjoyed it! My brother ordered an old fashioned and said it was good and very strong. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and liked it! They also brought out a bread loaf for the table and it was very warm and fresh! As for the entrees, we were honestly very disappointed. The food was genuinely some of the blandest food I've ever eaten. I ordered the filet mignon. It was good, but the minestrone it came with was missing something. I also would have liked the meal to come with mashed potatoes instead of 2 small halved potatoes. Additionally, the zip sauce was very liquid and not thick which I didn't love. My mom had the chicken Marsala. The dish had good flavor, but the texture of the chicken was poor. The gnocchi with meat sauce was a good portion size, but sadly bland as well. In the end, our card was ran on the wrong tab but the server noticed and corrected it so it wasn't a big deal. For what we paid, close to $270, including the service fee for using credit card, I honestly would've rather gone to Texas Roadhouse. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for fine dining in the area.

Visited Bologna for our anniversary and it did not disappoint!…read more I saw online you could make reservations but you had to put down a $20 deposit, yikes. We took our chances and came on a Saturday night at 5p. Thankfully the place wasn't busy yet. We got a table in the back entrance and it was perfect. Very romantic with the lighting and intimate dining experience. By the time 530p-6p rolled around it was pretty packed. Our waitress was great - attentive and welcoming. Large menu with lots of options both food and drink. The bread and oil were divine. We went with the happy hour menu which was impressive to see on a weekend. The happy hour menu was amazing - a ton of drink and food options. We were able to order two cocktails and 4 food items all for about $60! The limoncello spritz and limoncello martini were both so delicious and balanced. Ordered the tomato and cucumber salad, carciofi fritti artichoke, mussels, and the meatball trio. I am still dreaming of this meal and would eat it again in a heartbeat! Everything was a good portion size even for happy hour and so delicious. Meatballs were tender, the artichoke had an amazing breading on it, the mussels were fresh, and the salad was refreshing. We were so full afterwards and had to decline dessert. Downstairs has the restrooms but there was a single stall restroom on the main dining floor too. In the front is more of a bar type seating, middle houses the kitchen and the back is the more moody dining room. Metered parking lot in the back of the restaurant. Such a great spot in downtown Rochester!
