The bakery section that's contain the breads is self-serve, where you select your bread,place them in a basket and then take them to the register. Beyond their bakery offerings, Las Delicias has a hot food section, offering a diverse array of lunch and dinner options (they also offer breakfast, but I visited after breakfast). On the other bakery side, there are cupcakes, cakes, and ice cream. The staff at Las Delicias were warm, friendly, and welcoming. I was delighted to discover that their menu could be easily accessed through the QR codes around the restaurant providing a convenient way to explore their menu. During my visit, I opted to satisfy my sweet tooth with their strawberry cake. The cake was yellow and reminiscent of sponge cake in texture with strawberry filling in the center. I couldn't resist trying their Guaguas sin relleno, a traditional bread specially decorated for the Day of the Dead.. Everything was was delicious and I look forward to visiting next time and trying their hot food and ice cream. Popcentric is somewhat hidden in plain sight in a small plaza on State St. Currently they have a table in the doorway where you order and an employee gets your pops for you. I was really impressed with the selection of flavors and we did not pick quickly. My husband got the raspberry mango and I had the grapefruit. Both were refreshing and very flavorful. Mine had just the right tartness I was hoping for. I believe all the pops are $3 which is pretty fair for a little, independent pop shop (also... Pop shop is fun to say). Now, I have seen this place in passing many times, and this place caught on my radar last winter. Still, you can easily pass by this place no matter what your mode of transportation is because of where it's located. Regardless, I finally decided to make the trip over here today because why not, right? What I will say going into this place is that while the reviews for this particular looked spectacular with 5's across the board, there was still plenty of reason to remain nervous. First was my own fault, but I only brought my phone, so I absolutely needed ApplePay if I was going to be a customer at all. So I asked an employee about it, and they confirmed that indeed ApplePay was accepted. This was enough for me to continue on and start my order. Secondly, just because you see a 5.0 rating on Yelp doesn't mean the place deserves this rating. It could mean that only a handful of people have reviewed it and they all thought highly of it. I will say it is apparently spoken highly of on TikTok from first glances, but we all know how reliable TikTok is, right? Thirdly, there are apparently other locations that don't rate quite as highly as this location does. I guess the point I'm trying to say here is that you need to judge this place for yourself and not based what other people tell you. Anyway, here's what I'm going to tell you about my experience. I actually agree with the other Yelp reviewers here that this is a good place to eat. You just have to be smart about parking if you're driving to get here. I fortunately walked because it's not too far from where I currently live. It's presented in a buffet-style setting, and I hear that this used to be an all-you-can-eat buffet until they switched to pay-per-pound. You pay $10.75 per pound. For me, I cost about $30 since I got a drink and need to eat, especially if I am planning to run long distances. It's a place you have to learn as you order if you're coming in for the first time like I was, but if you're a fan of Brazilian food, this should be well up your alley. The people working the cashiers are nice people and know how to recommend what you want to finish your order. They also are happy to answer any questions you might have, so don't be shy coming here. My order was 2.13 pounds and consisted of a bed of white rice, fried fish, fried plantains, a little salad, two empanadas (one chicken and one cheese), and some chicken sausage recommended in house. You can actually see some of this food like the chicken sausage be cooked on the spot might I add. I also got the red dragonfruit to drink. I will say that the only thing I would nitpick about my order are the empanadas. They felt a bit skimpy to eat, especially the cheese one, so I probably wouldn't get those again. Other than that, all the food I ordered was very flavorful and well worth the money. Nothing ruined the rice, and everything tasted as it should. My favorite was probably the chicken sausage with the fried fish coming in at a close second place. I will say the dragonfruit drink is very refreshing, though it did admittedly taste a lot more pink than what I am used to. The drink is definitely worth it if it's your thing, but I find it to be an acquired taste. Overall, I would actually rate this a 4.5, but I will round it up to a 5. The friendly service and good food make this more than worth the trip no matter how you get there, and I would love to try more things that are served here.

There are plenty of picnic tables under a wooden canopy. The area is clean and inviting but we chose to eat in our air conditioned vehicle because it was hot and humid today.
