Food was supposed to be delivered, they had it for pick up. When we didn't show they called, and we discussed it. It was agreed to be cooked fresh and delivered. It came within ten minutes so obviously not fresh. Calzone was soggy as was the gyro pita. Gyro meat my husband said was good but the soggy calzone was flat both in shape and flavor. Have typically enjoyed Palio's, but last night was the worst experience ever. They brought my son's pizza out 15 minutes before the rest of is got our orders. He was done by the time we got our nearly cold lasagna and garlic bread. Wait staff never came back to see if everything was good with our order. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. My husband saw gluten free Pizza since Im on a gluten free diet so we decided to give it a try. The low ratings on Yelp are deceiving because this place is AWESOME! THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD! We ordered Greek and ceasar salad and they were great! My friends and I went here last Friday for the first time. We loved that it was BYOB so clearly we brought several bottles of wine because we knew we wanted to stay longer than usual to catch the fireworks on their patio. I wanted to know if they had an alcohol limit, so I called ahead of time. I was on hold from the time I left my apartment to the time I walked in the door - a good 20 minutes. However, the great pizza made up for it!! We ordered the classic as well as the all-meat pizza (forgot the name) and there were no leftovers. Thin pizza. A little skimpy on the sauce but I will know to ask or extra next time. A great place to come for a date night or with your girlfriends! Place is clean, people are friendly here. That is the reason for the extra star. Food was super over priced, I paid nearly $9 for an appetizer size calzone. I could have gone to pizza hut and gotten one that's at least triple in size for $5. First off let's get something straight. The people working the front counter were really nice. Yes I got my food with a groupon and when I checked in on Yelp, I was rewarded with a free drink. Both were accepted with friendly smiles and a professional demeanor. That's where the good experience ends. We drove from the south side of Fort Worth because the groupon wouldn't be excepted at another store. When we got there, the whole dining area had been rented for a private function. They should have stopped accepting carry-out orders. We had to drive all the way home to try a pizza that was fresh 40 minutes before. I have never left a review in on yelp in my life, but I feel compelled to tonight. My wife and I ordered delivery and are now trying to enjoy our pizza that is soggy and barely warm. She ordered the Margarita pizza. The mozzarella on it is harder than the crust. In the center the crust is mostly just wet and gross. I ordered the Hawaiian sunrise. Opened the pizza and almost all of the ingredients were just poured in the middle of the pie. Also, barely even warm. Will not order here again. read more

Last night we delivery ordered an x-large Cade and Blake pizza, and some mozzarella sticks. The pizza had pesto, artichoke hearts, roasted chicken, Roma tomatoes, and fresh mushrooms. It was good. I am from out of town and my family decided to give this place a try because friends highly recommended it. First of all no one was cleaning tables, secondly I ask for a small ball of dough for my kids to play with because other locations did this and was told no. Then my daughters fettuccine was cold and runny. We asked for mac and cheese instead and everyone at the table was finished eating before her food came. I went to inquire about it and instead of apologizing for this they just gave attitude and were not very professional. After I complained the employees stood around gossiping about the situation. Customer service is everything. Needless to say we will not return to this location again. I would be happy to talk to owners about this. Second time I've been here. Food is OK but service is worse. The guy taking our order was bordering on rude and gave you the feeling that you were bothering him. I don't know how this place is still in business it's honestly disgusting. My husband were so disappointed with everything. The salad was wet and barely any dressing on it. The cheese, pepperoni, and pineapple were falling off the pizza like they cooked the crust (which was hard as a hockey puck) and then added the topping. We love their grapevine location, we have been going there for 3-4 years now.....just that we don't go often that side like we used to go before and have to plan separately to go there... thin crust pizzas are delectable & loaded with options you order.. From 5 to 60 year olds, all have enjoyed eating pizzas there !! Our 60 years olds are picky otherwise when it comes to enjoying pizzas for meal! Absolutely the worst Italian Poboy in the country. Only had one see thru piece of ham and 5 small pepperonis. Really. For $9 put some meat on the sandwich. Had ordered 2 years ago and same results and said I never would order again but had friends over and gave it another try. Several of us had the hot Italian and if we combined the meat we would not have had as much as a Subway and certainly not a Firehouse Jimmy Johns or Jersey Mikes. Will not order again. Did an online order for 2 medium gourmet pizzas. Went to pick up and they had a Gracie's and a cheese pizza ready for me. How much of a genius does it take to see that a cheese pizza is not a gourmet pizza even if you can't see that the order clearly says a Gracie and a King. I ordered pizza here for the first time and I will never buy again. I placed an order at 8:00pm and they didn't start preparing until 8:30. I continued to place my order here just to see if the service would improve. My food finally arrived at 9:30pm all cold and they never even mentioned they ran out of tiramisu cake until my Uber picked it up! I don't know what is with this location. I like Palio's but this location is weird. Their menu is messed up. Other Palio's have chicken parm subs, this one does not. I ordered a calzone from here and I got a thin folded pizza with mozzarella cheese inside. Calzone's use ricotta cheese, stromboli uses mozzarella. I called thinking they made a mistake and they told me that they that their calzone's don't use ricotta cheese. Also don't order a meatball sub. I've had better meatball subs from a gas station. Tiny swedish looking meatballs with nothing else. Come on guys, get it together. The location in Colleyville is great and you're giving them a bad name. read more

Ordered delivery, took about a little longer than average delivery time (about 40 min) and pizza was cold when it arrived and order was not correct. An hour and a half from the time placing order we finally had our correct order but was disappointed in quality and taste. Went here for dinner with my family, establishment was nice clean and staff was friendly even ask one of the young gentlemen to light the fire pit to keep us warm this is we're it all went down hill... there was a work group which were across the patio from us after lighting the fire pit they migrated our way with there drunken actions, swearing, dropping beer placing their personal items on our table next to our food while my family and I ate found it very rude and disrespectful I would expect for the management to come out and speak to the group but never happened needless to say we packed up and left. read more

I ordered a cheese pizza, and calzone on 10/6/14. I was told when calling to order it would be here in an hour or less, two hours later the pizza arrived cold. I called an hour and half after ordering I was advised by the rude hostess the pizza was on its way, we live 5 miles from Palio's and 30 minutes later the pizza arrived COLD. Palio's was pretty great! I especially love that they made a dairy-free pizza for me without any hesitation. We ordered from the Hyatt at DFW airport and had no issues with delivery at all. I feel as if I was scolded by my mother. I have eaten at Palio's in Colleyville for many years and now we sometimes take lunch at the Palio's in Roanoke. Never had any issues, ever. Tonight I decided to head to my local Palio's in Grapevine to grab a couple of pizzas to bring home. The cashier was really sweet but did not know if they could make a pizza on the menu's from the other Palio's. Behind her was a fiery blonde who told me they could not make it for me. Then she asked me what was on the pizza. I was really taken aback by the whole thing. As we had only been the the restaurant 45 seconds, I said we will go somewhere else. Even the sweet cashier was embarrassed about the whole situation. This is really sad because Palio's pizza is really good. But with a pizza place on every corner nowadays it all comes down to service. We went down to Wise Guys Pizza and had an awesome time with the great food there and the great service from Brian and no snarky attitude. And they took my pizza money without any insults to me. I am rethinking Roanoke and Colleyville now. SAD. read more

Had a groupon for Palio's and we live right done the street so figured that we would give it a try. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. Hubby and I ordered a margarita pizza and mozzarella sticks. The only table that we could find hadn't been cleaned and had dishes all over it. We had to remove them ourselves. The mozzarella sticks came out and they were freezer burned and exploded. Someone didn't know how to use the fryer. The pizza faired much better. It was very tasty with a nice light sauce and fresh mozzarella. I would get the pizza again but not the mozzarella sticks and the service was non existent.
