Just as good as I remember! We used to eat here a couple of times a week when we lived in Denton but hadn't been back since moving to the far side of Lewisville. Boy have we missed out! There's a reason they've been in business almost 31 years. The stuffed shells were perfectly cooked with a delicious red sauce, the pizza was thin but flavorful, and the rolls are like buttery nuggets of heaven. Total mom and pop place that screams authentic to the a T! Great lunch specials- I had the $6.99 slice and salad.good prices and portions. The owner was on site greeting everyone and telling them about the legacy of the restaurant. I ordered a slice of sausage- it was good but there wasn't quite enough cheese because the sausage kept sliding off on the table-lol. The garlic bread is good- super dense- you'll need a tall glass is water to wash that down- overall, nice place with friendly faces and good slices- I'll go back to try a slice of pepperoni next time! read more

My first time coming here and the description is correct - it is hidden in a little strip mall type building. Walking in though, you are hit with the aroma of deliciousness. I love the family owned atmosphere as I hear the cashier ask her mom if she got the next table. As the daughter of a small business owner, I love to support small local businesses. I came on a Friday night around 6:45 PM after placing a pick up order via telephone and the place was packed, but a good kind of packed- not an overwhelmed kind of packed. I can see parking being a problem on busy nights because it looks like the strip mall stays pretty busy, but I did find a spot a little ways down. And there are a couple of spots reserved for Nick's customers only. Now to the food, I called in my order and it was ready promptly (about 15 mins) when I got there. It was hot and fresh and the pizza was delicious. The crust is more of a hand tossed NY style crust, which I really enjoy. Thanks Nicks! I will be back to try more! read more

So happy to have found a wonderful family ran pizza joint! The vibe is real deal, classic family owned pizza joint. I felt like I was somewhere in NY. lol The sauce is so good! I had the eggplant Parmesan I ate the whole thing and saved my left on over sauce for bread dipping later, because the sauce is soooo good! They make it there and you can taste it. I am so picky when it comes to a good pasta sauce. Now I know exactly where to get some good pasta with some tasty sauce! Enjoyed every last drop. Loved dipping my bread in the sauce. I haven't tried the pizza but I know it will be great with the quality sauce'! My kids went to the little pizza chef class and had an amazing experience! Kudos to the owners for setting that up. These guys have some of the best pizza and pasta in Lewisville, I've been eating here for years. Don't pass this place up if you get the opportunity, everything is good! Lemme start with the blah customer service. Just super dry and not one smile. I ordered a large pizza and they give me one packet of peppers and cheese. The Philly was dry meat on super thick bread with no flavor. I had to doctor it up by adding seasoning. No onions and the cheese was unforgiving. Won't be back. read more

A dated place with dated food. Pros: - Friendly staff. - Clean-ish. Cons: - Got a Sicilian deep dish. Pizza was undercooked, so dough was barely cooked apart from the edges. Pepperoni was warmed - not hot - and had a mass market taste. - Crust was meh. Like a soda bread, so it didn't complement the pizza sauce. - Sauce was meh. Cheese was meh. - Salad was below meh: iceberg lettuce, a small tomato slice that had been refrigerated too long, and a pepperoncini. At the bottom of the bowl I found a leaf that had rotted to almost brown mush. Yuk. - Other items I saw folks eating were equally unappealing. In summary, nice folks. Nick's is some of the best Italian I have ever had. The house dressing and rolls could be a meal unto themselves. The Pizza is authentic, and don't get the Sicilian unless you are prepared to have leftovers for days. I'm a native Texan, but I lived in Phoenix for a while. I got spoiled there, because there is a few different Famous Rays New York style pizza. I searched and searched and I FINALLY found an authentic New York pizza at Nicks! the pizza is awesome and the pasta dinners are too. Friendly staff, cool atmosphere. highly recommended read more

Best pizza and service around town. Eating inside you order at the counter. There are menus in front of the register to take and sit to make your decision if needed. A few of our favorites are the Nicks salad with the home made tomato vinaigrette is the best ever. Order extra to take home with you. Like pizzas? What a delicious treat! The food was amazing. The service was great! And the family dining ambiance was nostalgic! This was our first time to visit, but it won't be our last. My son will not eat pizza crust without cheese and sauce, but tonight that changed. I swiped a piece before he realized it was so good. This place totally screwed up our order and when we called them, we asked that they just credit our card back for the expense and not bring anything else. I specifically told the lady that I didn't want to tip the driver because I had left $10.00 in change on our door front table which the driver took. Low and behold two days later I'm looking at my bank and they charged me twice and took extra $2.00 out of my account even when I didn't authorize it. I called back and spoke with the owner Nick and he was unwilling to credit the extra $2.00 back. He made some BS reason saying the bank was closed. I've NEVER HAD ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAPPEN BEFORE AND IT COMPLETELY PISSED ME OFF AS HE ACTED LIKE IT DIDN'T MATTER. THIS DAY AND AGE WHEN INFLATION IS KILLING EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING THAT WAS THE WRONG RESPONSE! I'LL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN AS LONG AS I'M ALIVE! read more

Located just west of Interstate 35E, in a little nondescript shopping center just off FM 407, resides an unassuming Italian restaurant that seems to have grown up out of nowhere. Frida and Nick have built a name for themselves in the 18 years they've been open. They run a simple, no-frills restaurant that depends on quality to get by. Everything on the menu tastes great, including the Award Winning Pizza. The atmosphere provides for a cozy, family oriented dining experience. The only negative I found was that there was a little too much grease on the pepperoni pizza. It was nothing that a few extra napkins couldn't remedy though.

When…read moreI went to pick up my pizza, the doors were locked and there was a note on the door dated May 13th, 2026 from the landlord saying they didn't pay their rent and the locks have been changed for non payment of rent. I've called and no one answers their phone. I called their Dallas location and they won't answer their phone . I tried emailing them and have not received a reply and they have not refunded my money. This is theft of my money. Called the Lewisville police and they said they could not help me. Which that seems unfair because if I went in there and ate their food and left without paying, I would be arrested for theft of service. The owner should be arrested for stealing my money. How can they still have their website up and operating and taking my money when they are not even opened for business?
