Keller Location only. I won't bury the lead. Two of the three last times I ordered a small cheese pizza for carryout I waited more than 45 minutes for it in the lobby. Seriously though? I threw a fit the first time because I couldn't event get anyone's attention, they remade it and lost it and I waited longer. I didn't pay for that pizza and they begged me try again. I did. And here I sit waiting 45+ minutes again from when I've placed the order. I arrive and pay and when they check on it they let me know it hasn't been started yet. Don't tell me 25 minutes on the phone and wot to start it until I get there. Food: I love it. Service: really goes either way and that's been super frustrating with girls who take calls and can't figure out how to be courteous and girls at the counter who act just as "whatever." read more

This location is terrible! We got a coupon in the mail for a buy one get one lunch special half off. We weren't sure if this was available on the weekends or not, so we checked the website for this location in particular and it specifically says that the lunch special is good everyday. The manager, we assume, told us that the lunch special isn't available on the weekends and that they can't help what the website says. We insisted they honor what was advertised. She snapped at us and was extremely rude and unprofessional. The guy working the register didn't seem to have a clue. I ordered a small Grace's pizza for my lunch. My husband ordered a small custom pizza. We were charged for 2 lunches AND a Grace's pizza. There was no discount on the receipt. I asked him to correct it before submitting the charge as $28 was no where near a discounted lunch for two people. The rude girl was back to "fix" the order and the charges. I think we paid like $9 or something which was less than we should have paid. They brought the correct pizza for my husband, but only brought a small cheese pizza for me. I didn't bother to say anything at this point. I ate some of the pizza. About halfway through the meal, they brought a regular sized Grace's pizza but said nothing. What???? Awful customer service. Hands down, the worst food I've eaten in DFW so far. Having just moved to DFW from NY, I was hopeful when I found Palio's. With a 4 and 1/2 star rating on Google and everything made to order, I was especially excited. Ordered "The King" (pizza pie) and the baked-ziti as a backup. I'm really not that finicky when it comes to pizza but, wow, what a disappointment. The pizza: "red sauce had no seasoning, no flavor, no nothing". Heinz ketchup would have been better. Sausage was AWFUL and the vegetables (olives, mushrooms, etc) were canned. I removed anything she couldn't eat, (onion, olives, sausage) and gave it to my dog. She refused to eat it. The baked ziti was an even bigger disaster. I watched as the girl prepared the dish. I noticed that she removed store bought ricotta from the fridge and added RAW garlic directly into the cheese mixture. From there, she spooned sauce and and ricotta mixture together with PRECOOKED ziti pasta, mixed it and added a layer of sub-par mozzarella cheese on top. The pink-goop laden pasta resulted it what can be described in one single word: "disgusting". If anyone has ever made baked ziti (or followed a recipe printed on the side of most ziti/rigatoni pasta boxes), one would know immediately this is not how this dish is supposed to be made. There's a certain level of love and simplicity that goes into Italian food. Mixing cheese into a bowl with a spoonful of jarred garlic is just lazy. I'm so angry that this place is serving sub-par food, canned ingredients (at outrageous prices) to their customers and calling it "Italian". I call it "garbage". Giving it 2 stars because the place seemed pretty clean and modern. But, I'll never go back. read more

We've been here dozens of times but this weekend the pizza was the best we've ever had! The vegetarian pizza and the meat and cheese deluxe were the best we've ever eaten there and possibly the best pizza we have ever had in this area. For me the experience of being a customer is just as important, if not more, than the actual product. EVERY time I have ordered a pizza to be delivered, the same girl takes my order. I think her name is Megan. When she answers the phone it's as if she is being extremely bothered to take my order. Forget asking questions about specials, ingredients, or anything in general. You can literally hear her rolling her eyes as she rudely tells you it's online. Huge shoutout to Astrid and her crew !! They let us hold a fundraiser on Tue Aug 22 for Paige who is a 13year old with DIPG a terminal brain stem cancer. The crew worked very hard that night We had soo many people there and I know there was a little bit of a wait due to the amount of people there to support Paige. The food is very good there and the staff is awesome. I've only tried the Palio's in Irving and I loved it. I tried this location as carryout because it's closer to home, and I don't love it as much as Irving. My pizzas lacked sauce. I looked under the pizza, in the box, all over lol then I decided they didn't put any on there.. No bueno. So I was disappointed. I will try again as dine in and see if there's a difference. LOVE LOVE LOVE their pizza. My whole family is onboard with Palio's. We love the cheese, pepperoni, and King pizzas. Their Greek chicken salads are really good too if you want something on the lighter and just as yummy side. The only thing is BE CAREFUL when eating the olives in the salad. Some have pits still in them and can ruin dental work. OUCH!!!!! It is pricey for pizza, but it's worth it. Trust me. Trust your palate. read more

We ordered 2 pizzas for pickup and they were both wrong. The husbands did the pickup and didn't check before they left, so we called. We figured someone else had gotten our order so we wanted to give the manager a heads up. Oh my gosh...she was so rude!!!! We told her the sauce on the top was missing when we specifically requested it and she said, "ok...soooo, you want me to refund you fifty cents??" And then laughed at my friend!!!! They also said they only carry one kind of crust, when we've ordered from there multiple times and gotten different crusts. I was disappointed because I had heard rave reviews. Ordered Gluten free and paid $4 more, Crust was soggy and undercooked. Small amount of chicken on pizza for such a pricey pizza. Mediocre pizza and bad service. My coworker and I were in the middle of a long shift and decided to order pizza and drinks from Palio's and have them deliver to our work address. We gave Palio's a call and were put on hold for twelve minutes. Finally a man named Denis picked up the line and asked us what our order was. I was halfway into my first sentence when he told me he needed to put me on hold again, two minutes went by before he came back on the line. This happened four times throughout the call. It took us ten minutes to order because we were continually being put on hold. He asked me an additional question about my order and when I took a fifteen second pause he said, "Look lady, I have other customers so if you don't know what you want now you need to call me back." We finalized our order. We ordered one pizza and one can of sprite and one can of coke. The pizza took an hour and fifteen minutes to arrive and when it did arrive it was cold. The delivery man told us that they were out of coke so he only brought us the sprite and no other drink. However we were charged for both drinks. Overall, terrible service and cold pizza. read more

Used to be one of our favorite pizza spots in Keller and Grapevine. Recent visit to Keller was terrible. Tried to call in our order ahead of time and in the the phone they said "why don't you just order when you get here?" Really?!?! Then, discovered they were out of wheat crust and not very apologetic about it. Then got to the restaurant. Good thing I brought a six pack as pizza order took over 40 minutes. When I went to inquire about order status they said "it's been chaotic and pizza is now going in the oven." Really?!??! There were only two other tables of guests in the restaurant at the time. Ehh is all I can really say about this eating establishment. As the food cop would say "Nothing really special to see here keep moving." . Palio's is not necessarily bad it's more that it's just not good. They are really big on their roasted chicken ,cause it's on the majority of their "Gourmet Pizza" lists. I ordered the "Classic " don't know why a pizza joint would name a roasted chicken topped pizza the classic every knows that should be a pepperoni but okay. Ehh again! I get if you like cracker crust or store bought frozen pizza than this eatery is for you.But if, let's say you have the mature taste palate of say a five year old then you might wanna try somewhere else. Palio's really falls under being okay so why would you want to submit yourself to that? Look I get many like it cause it's BYOB( bring your own booze). And as we all know booze can hide less than scrumptious food and don't get me wrong I love taking my own booze of choice to places when I can. On another note my wife liked it but then again she watches "The Real Housewives" so her judgement can be questionable. We drive by Palio all the time and thought we should give it a try. I was very disappointed with my Roma pizza, it was the least flavorful pizza I have ever had in my life! My husband had the king on gluten free crust, he said he's definitely had better gluten free crust than that. I rarely write reviews and I wouldn't have bothered typing this one if it wasn't for the fact I think this restaurant is over priced. We came in last night and ordered our food, it was as always fresh and tasty. When I was looking at my bank account the next day they triple charged us for the food! I called in Nathan immediately took care of it and gave me a free pizza for the trouble Togo, and he even gave me a card for another free pizza! This place is really going down hill. My order was a larger Gracie's, Chicken tenders and a Kids pizza. When I arrived I was given someone else order, which is not a big deal I just took it back. The order they gave me was not the pizza I ordered, so I took it back. The "chicken tenders" were the little dinosaur nuggets you get from the freezer section of Kroger, and they appeared to be microwaved. It was disgusting, needless to say my son wasn't interested.The staff didn't care at all that I came back twice to get the right take out order.
