I'll start with a warning that I typically do not like pizza, never been a huge fan. My family and I just moved to the area and my wife has been to the coffee shop nearby a couple of times and asked if we could go. We go in and we ordered and within a few minutes we had our food. I was absolutely blown away with the lasagna pizza, probably the best pizza I've ever had. My son liked his, wife liked hers. My daughter is like me, not a pizza fan and she won't even try pizza. She had some spaghetti and she said it was delicious. We ordered some of the garlic knots too and those were very very good. Overall very good experience, despite the yankee memorabilia on the wall. I will definitely be back. Who knows, maybe they'll make me a fan of pizza...they certainly did tonight. read more

Very solid pizza, calzones, strombolis. I had a slice of pizza and a pepperoni roll (that was excellent!) the service was fast and cordial. Seemed like a New Yorker behind the counter, there was Yankees and Mets posters up everywhere adding to the ambiance. I've been to NY three times and this fared favorably to what I've had up there. Very good pizza at a fantastic price. Our "to go" order was ready at exactly the time they said it would be ready.

If you are wanting affordable and authentic Italian, this is the place. They offer plenty of indoor seating with a bar and pool table, as well as a drive thru. Despite it being busy, the customer service was great and the wait wasn't long, however, i did notice that as they got busier, the service slowed down and people were having to wait a bit for their orders. Since it was busy, the tables weren't getting cleaned up as quickly, making the place look kinda dirty, but it was busy, so it was understandable. Our food was delicious and there were many different options, whether you want pizza by the slice, whole, or pasta. It was great for my family of 5, who all wanted to try something different. The place advertised live music so it's definitely a place we would come back to enjoy in the future because who doesn't like music and pizza? & maybe a game of pool, too. read more

We love Big Joe's. This place is a hidden gem in Haslet, TX. The food is AMAZING. From pizza, to pastas, to salads...You can't go wrong with anything that you order. The ingredients are fresh, and the food is flavorful. My new personal favorite is the lasagna pizza. We've done a mix of dining in and take-out. When dining in, the atmosphere is super laid back. I like that they have quarter machine games available for the kids. It's keeps them busy while they wait. Theres a lot of flat screen TVs through out the restaurant to watch the games on. When it comes to take-out the drive through window is the best. Not having to get out of my car to pick- up my food is incredibly convenient. Keep up the great work! read more
