We have been frequent customers at the Palio's in Keller. We specially like their pizza crusts and toppings, salads are also very good? We often enjoy sitting outside with our own BYOB. We had a very poor service tonight. Called in for a pick up pizza, paid in cash and waited. I saw pizzas coming out of the oven going to others waiting, others going to diners and some up on top the oven. When I had called I was told ten to 15 minutes. After about 20 minutes I went to the guy who looked Like the manager inquiring about my pizza. He found it sitting on top the oven, where it had been for serial minutes. The guy didn't apologize or say anything. I told him I won't be back. Service like that can occur, how a manager deals witH it matters. There are lots of pizza options. this place should understand that and keeping customers is a lot better than trying to attract new. read more

The owner is a complete clown. Standing outside in the parking lot rudely yelling at people that they can't park there during an event at the lions club across the street. Mind a few things, #1 this is a shopping strip with open unmarked parking. #2 there were tons of parking spots open both when I arrived and when I left. #3 I was parked across the parking lot from his place, not even in front of his business which I and anyone else would have every right to do. #4 Not a polite, "would you mind parking somewhere else?" A harsh demand that "you can't park here, find somewhere else." I remained polite and denied his demand. So the guy starts screaming at me, calling me an asshole in front of my 4 year old son. An hour later I return and somebody has slathered thick grease inside the door handle of my truck which is now dripping down onto my truck and creating a little puddle on the ground. So I called the cops. And they showed up, and told me that I had every right to park where I was and that this is not the first incident they have had with him. So to be clear, this business owner, is in front of his business yelling at people in a public parking lot, and then vandalizing their vehicles when they don't comply to his foolish demands. I would highly implore not supporting this type of business owner, lest you aggravate them and have them spit in your food. read more

I Tried to do 'curbside' pickup tonight ....no one ever came out to my car. So...I end up walking in to find the cashier just sitting there....not busy....and 'wearing' a mask on his chin (not covering his mouth nor face). I give my name and he grabs my order. He asks if I want a bag and then licks his fingers (easily bc the mask is NOT covering his mouth) to help open up the plastic bag and then grab my salad container up place in it. First of all, I know everyone is short-handed. I am sick and tired of it as an excuse to poor decisions or bad customer service. We have not been to this place since COVID due to poor service prior COVID. I should have known better. We went early today arriving with no one in the dining room. Ordered two small pizzas to eat in at 5:52. At 6:12 they were delivered to the table cold. By now there are quite a few people. I went up to the front expressing concern that we got cold pizzas and the girl had no explanation. Long story short the guy offered us new pizzas which we could not wait for due to an oxygen tank that limits our time. He went into a lot of excuses, COVID, blah blah blah. Guess what, you have 5 people standing there and can't get 2 pizzas to an in house customer before they get cold? Scream out my table number and I will come get them myself!!! Would have saved us all the anxiety and anguish! Instead you screwed up! So in the midst of this he says, well this has to change! And erases 26 from the board that says- number of days without a Karen! Changed to 0. To the Karen out there, I feel your anguish!! We stopped by for lunch as a family and had a wonder experience! The staff was very apologetic that the food took a little bit longer to come out due to a large order that they received just before we came in. When our food did come out, it was very delicious and the manager stopped by to check on us and apologize again and offered two slices of cake for our kids. Palio's Keller gets 4 stars for consistency and great customer service. I have picked up from this location numerous times and they never let me down. Favorite pizzas: Ralphies (chicken bacon ranch), Mediterranean and Noah's. Also love the chicken il Palio pasta and their cheesy bread. BYOB is a plus! First time to this location, the food was wonderful however I won't be going back. The two young ladies working the counter were very unprofessional! There appears to be WiFi access so I asked for the password. The gentleman who was running food went to get the password and when one of the girls heard he was giving it out, she jumped all over him about It while I was standing at the counter to get ranch. She proceeds to run her mouth about this as I am waiting for this ranch. Instead of handing me the ranch, she puts it on the counter for him to deliver. To top it off, as we walk out they so sweetly tell us good bye and to have a nice night and then as we get out the door mimic my thanks back. This is one of my favorite places to eat! I always get the chicken pesto sandwich lunch special. It comes with chips, salad, and a drink. The food is always fresh and it's made fast! I love their balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The menu is slightly different based on location. Some locations have watermelon flavored ice tea and it's amazing! Dinner with family. Waited in line 5 minutes to have order taken. No one else was in line. They don't have the same pizza that the Colleyville location has and manager offered no alternative. Only five other tables in place. After 45 minute wait had to ask manager for status. He said ten minutes as it wasn't in the oven yet. After one hour pizza arrived. No apologies or even an eff you. Extremely rude. We came in at 9:00 and were told we had to be OUT by closing, 9:30. We ordered a pizza for part of our party who would be there right at 9:30. When they got there they asked to order a salad, were told no, were not given a plate to eat off of, were not allowed to order drinks, barely got water and at 9:40 they shut the drink machine off. Very curt, lady at the cash register basically tossed the cups at them and the man walked around cleaning around us giving the stink eye to everyone still there. Pizza is really good when it's delivered on time; however, the service really sucks. Ordered two pizzas at 6:15 pm. The girl taking the order made the ordering process brutal. She kept saying can you "speak up". My phone works fine. If you can't hear me it's your phone. I had to repeat my phone number and name several times, each time louder. I had to repeat (yell) my credit card number to the girl on the phone about 4 times. I asked her what the problem was with her phone and she said her co-workers were being loud. Finished the order, she said the pizzas would be delivered in 35-45 minutes. She's probably not the best choice to begin the customer experience. She comes-off as annoyed. After waiting an hour... I called to find out where the pizza was. They said they didn't know... they called the driver but he wasn't answering his phone. After another 15 minutes I called again. This time they said the driver was the manager so if I had a complaint I should talk to him whenever he arrives. At 7:45, 90 minutes after placing the order, the manager arrived with the two soggy pizzas. He said sorry, "I am the only driver". I suggested they consider telling customers it will be 90 minutes for delivery and or calling customers to let them know deliveries are running late. He wasn't impressed, more annoyed than anything else and walked off. I was super disappointed and expected "something" from this manager. The pizzas had been steaming in the box for an hour so they were soft and chewy like microwave pizza. If I had paid cash instead of credit I would have refused the pizzas. $38 for two soggy pizzas? There are too many pizza delivery options to settle for bush-league service. read more

Would have been a solid 4 stars for me, but the open concept made for a loud atmosphere and I was initially confused by the seating arrangement. For me, really a 3.5 experience but I don't have a 1/2 star option on Yelp. The style of pizza here is the ultra thin, cracker style crust. While not my favorite type of crust, it's very well done here. The toppings are not piled on, so it's not like soup on a cracker, and I found a lot of choices that I'm interested in trying next time. My Sereen was tasty, both hot dining in, and cold the next day for lunch, and I liked that you can really taste all the ingredients. It's worth me going back at some point just for that one. I enjoyed the cheese bread, and although my husband was not as impressed with his more traditional canadian bacon on wheat crust, but I'm attributing that to his not being a big fan of the super thin style crust. I don't think that his pizza was cut right because you couldn't pull it apart at all, but it was very amusing watching him trying to figure it out. I liked the darkened lights and the slightly upscale decor, but my husband and I made the mistake of going on a weekend night. There was only 1 table left, and while the line to order was 4 people deep, I didn't initially realize that you seat yourself. When I asked, they did suggest since it was so busy that we sit first, then go back and place an order. There were a lot of families there, which is understandable for a pizza joint, but that also means there were a LOT of children running around while their parents chatted with friends. I wished I had read in advance that it's BYOB here. The servers appeared all in their late teens, but were extremely friendly and helpful. It was one of those types of places where I wasn't sure if you should tip or not, because all the servers really do is just bus the food over, but their upbeat service during the dinner rush made me happy that I did leave one. All of the previous reviews are correct about the service. Sunday at 11:30am-ish. Not a lot of people. We asked the person at the register if we ordered first then sat ourselves. They gave no clear answer. It is an order first and sit yourself restaurant. We ordered a medium Mediterranean. It's enough for 2 people. They cut it into 9 squares. When they brought it out the person asked if we wanted plates or if we wanted to eat it off the pizza stand. Maybe it's a legitimate question but you should always bring plates just in case. I got a bottle of water for my wife and they didn't have any cold. The person at the register placed the blame on someone else. Back to the pizza. The crust was thin and crispy and tasted great. The toppings on the pizza were excellent. The decor is ok. There are signs of wear and tear. The fabric on the booth seats were very worn but not torn. The paint on the wall near the end of the booths was scratched up and down like the booth has been moved a lot. One of the air conditioning intakes was open and the air filter inside was beat up. The I take is also over a booth. Overall, the food was excellent. "This is we've had since we've been here (we just moved back to Texas in June)," says my wife. I agree. So, get your pizza to go and enjoy it somewhere else. read more

Other than Grimaldis (Grapevine) just not very many pizza places I get to excited about. However, Palio's is an exception. First timer tonight, and enjoyed three very tasty pizzas with the kiddos, the Meat and Cheese Deluxe, the BBQ Chicken, and the Pesto with Chicken. Everyone at the table LOVED the BBQ Chicken. All were thin crust, perfectly cooked, and served promptly although it was not a slow night in the dining hall. Wait staff seemed to be well trained and attentive. And the high-tech soda machine must have like 200 or more flavor variations....the kids will LOVE it!!! Having driven past Palio's for months, I am glad I finally ventured in. And the fact that it is BYOB enhances the experience. In fact, I originally was going to rate a 4 star, but allowing folks the BYOB (at a great savings to the consumer) is surely "Star Worthy", especially considering they provide a corking station and wine glasses for their patrons. Dont be shy about the BYOB, almost every table had folks opening and drinking wine.....DANG!!!! There may be a slight charge for BYOB...not sure. Lastly, the atmosphere is more upscale than you would expect for a pizza place. Definitely date-worthy, and not intrusively loud. Plan on doing lunch there this weekend, and try another of the specialty pizzas. read more

Since moving here from Chicago, it's been a real struggle trying to find good pizza. I usually opt for Tuscany, which has a damn good NY style pizza, but even as good as it is, the same old food, gets old, right? Now, I've driven by Palio's probably a hundred times, and I am to blame for not eating here sooner. On Saturday night, wifey, and our 7 month old attempted to get in here to eat around 7:30. Not-gonna-happen! This place gets crazy packed. So, with that option off the table, we got take-out. This, was actually kind of quick. (15-20 minutes max) Palio's offers a thin, crispy crust with a very flavorful sauce, and they were liberal with their toppings. Since they had an expansive menu (Lotsa specialty pizzas), wifey & I decided to get a medium pizza each (which was actually too much), and an order of garlic cheese bread. I opted for the BBQ Chicken, and wifey got the Mediteranean. Both were very tasty. Prices. Reasonable. I think we were out the door at $24 and some change. The pizza was very good. In fact, along with Tuscany, it's one of my faves. IF you can get in to dine, they are BYOB, which is always a plus in my book. I will be returning, either for take out, or to dine in (hopefully), very soon! read more

They do not sell alcohol - but that's OK. They have ice and buckets for your chilled BYOB wine with corkscrews and wine glasses to help you enjoy what you bring. I had a small serene pizza, which is one of their vegetarian pizzas. The toppings were tasty but the whole wheat crust was not good at all and it was dry. The crust is usually a big part of a tasty pizza for me. I should've just gotten the pesto chicken sandwich like I had originally wanted. This is the second time that we have ordered food from Palio's in Keller, and this is the SECOND time that we got an all meat pizza with stray onions. I hate onions, terribly. Twice. We also had tiramisu included in both orders, yet never received. This was through Doordash. I called the Roanoke store under the assumption that my wife ordered through them, and the manager was very helpful and nice. It was then found out that the order came from the Keller store. I talked to the self proclaimed, manager and tried to be polite, but she was argumentative and defensive, as opposed to being respectful and corrective. 1709 grill was closed sop looking for family friendly alternate place to watch the Cowboy game. Not very busy and they had TVs mounted to the wall with sound turned off but closed captions on. Worked out decent as my son had chicken nuggets and I had some odd pizza combo. While service was slow, I did enjoy the pizza. Portion was small for price but worth it for last minute find on a Wed. Drinks might have been nice and not stand up tables but we watch almost to half-time before heading home. read more

To the Manager who wasn't on duty this evening at the Keller restaurant: We called your Keller location phone number listed on the website and placed our order for two large pizzas. In addition, we attempted to order your $5.99 small pizza "manager's special" deal after seeing the coupon on the front page of your website that said, "only available at the Keller restaurant". Your employees said that there's no such deal and that your website is incorrect. When asked to speak to the manager, they said that no manager was on duty this evening. They apologized, which I can appreciate. The employee was only doing their job. This is not their fault... this is a leadership/management failure for not properly informing the employees/staff, and/or not being aware, as a leaders/manager, that your business is offering customers a deal, when in fact, it is not. Is it possible for you to update your website correctly and truthfully advertise (as well as update your employees/staff), versus providing false advertising on your website? We're seriously not trying to be a pain, or get any employee in trouble (it wasn't the employee's fault, as this is a management issue), however, it's clearly false advertising on your website and the managers/leaders there should resolve that issue so that their employees are clear on expectations. We have been a Palio's customer quite frequently (ordering large orders from the Keller restaurant multiple times a month) for two years now and have loved Palios' service until this evening.
