I love this place! I just had The Scorcher pizza and it was amazing! Wishing I ordered a large. It packed just enough of a punch without needing to reach for the milk. The pizza is light on your body and will not weigh you down. I will only go here for pizza because all of their food is awesome, from the buffalo wings to their deserts. Amidst the chains surrounding it lies this gem. Not only do they make outstanding, thin crust pizzas but the service is top notch and this place is amazingly clean! My daughter, one of my best friends, and I went there on a Saturday. We all got Calzones. They were really good. Everyone was very nice and polite and did not mind answering my questions about the food since it was my first time there. The management team is very nice and I spoke with them and joked with them. My husband and I are traveling and we wanted to watch the Coke 600 race on tv today, so the hotel recommended this place for pizza and delivery. We always enjoy trying new places when we travel and this place was excellent! There delivery was less time than they stated and The King pizza was full of flavor. We also had a cheese pizza, a Greek and Caesar salads and a chocolate cannoli. All the food was worth it and I'm trying to figure out when the next time we will be in the area! I had the hot club sandwich and it was to die for. I'm a "bready" and the bread, to me was the best part. Way better than most sub shops. It came with a white sauce on the side. I wasn't too sure about it a first because it smelled so "mayonnaisey" to me, but I tried it on the sandwich and it just made it taste even better. I'm drooling thinking of it now. I will be back for that sandwich! The inside of the restaurant is very nice and the ambience is very calming. I highly recommend checking the place out. Friendly staff to boot. It's a win-win. This was my fifth visit to Palio's. We pass through Sherman on our way to Austin. Have loved the lunch special pizza and salad. Always great. This time passing through and spending the night in Sherman. Ordered carry out. Wife ordered salad with roasted chicken. It was wonderful. My pizza was prepared before the salad and sat in the box for over 10 minutes waiting for the salad to be prepared. This pizza was definitely not up to their standards. Probably won't be ordering any more carry out from Palio's. read more

Pretty good pizza. Tried this Palio's for lunch. Service was quick and the pizza was pretty good. All of the Palios I have tried from Aubrey to McKinney to Sherman seem to serve a pretty reliable four star pizza, and have decent service. For the moderate price, a great place to get a reliable slice and service. read more

Over rated. Pizza is okay but study the menu online if you have never been. A little confusing and you feel rushed ordering " Jack in the Box" style your first time. Sauce is bland. Never put salt on a pizza but needed some flavor. read more

I go to Palio's for the calzones, and they are amazingly delicious. I typically get the lunch special, which also comes with a salad and a drink, and the salads are always very good too. Most of the employees are friendly, although there are a few who are somewhat surly. Everything is always very clean, including the restrooms, which is a big plus. I only gave it four stars for a few reasons. For one thing, the prices seem a tad bit high. They have messed up my order a time or two, which I didn't realize until I had gotten it home and was eating - it's harder to see the contents of a calzone without opening it up and inspecting it, which I am not in the habit of doing until I sit down to eat it. And finally, I have only tried the pizza once, but the time I had it, I was pretty unimpressed. It may have just been an off day, but it was bad enough that I decided to stick to calzones from then on. I may give it another chance at some point, but you can't go wrong with the calzones. read more

The manager refunded our meal, but it still doesn't make up for the serious sanitation issue that this brings to light. I don't even want to give this place one star. Their pizza is great. First time in... the employees kinda looked at my son and I like we were stupid. I asked if it were open seating, the said no, you order pizza at counter. Told them 3 times it was our first time here... didn't know where cups were, had to ask the girl at counter after I had already checked out. Then, we get someone else's plate of pizza... I told her (same girl at counter), that we had an appetizer first. She said ok... it's coming, then comes and takes the other pizza, I didn't touch it, my son didn't have his... and puts it at the right table... seems unsanitary to me. STICK With The pizza. Ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo it was so spicy could not eat it. The sauce was powdery like it is mixed from a mix was barely warm we picked it up so should have been piping hot and fresh. my garlic cheese bread was almost cold had very little cheese and was to hard and chewy to eat was a warm up. Usually I eat pizza for the toppings or the sauces. I have never before eaten a pizza and thought much of the actual crust, but I LOVE the crust here. I don't know what they do to it. I'll eat it hot or cold. It just tastes like it was made in a good oven. read more

Spotlessly clean, quick friendly service, good pizza and salads too! You can bring your own wine which is another plus. We will be back!
