We booked a site with a private deck--such a smart touch--and the whole property felt exceptionally clean and thoughtfully laid out. The park is gated and reasonably quiet; we felt safe the entire time. Little conveniences add up here: a pedestrian gate for easy in/out, a fenced dog run, and even tokens for their on-site RV wash if you want to freshen up your rig. Every interaction with staff was pleasant, and the customer service was excellent. We recommend Nomadland RV Stay without hesitation and will absolutely choose it again anytime we're passing through Albuquerque.

We had a great experience both times. The amenities are really excellent. Bathrooms were clean and showers were great. They just recently opened the pool year-round and the kids had a fun time splashing around. The kids also enjoyed the small playground after a day in the truck. The owner and staff are extremely nice and take great pride in the place. They texted us in the afternoon of our first stay to coordinate our arrival. When we got there, they explained that since we have a truck camper they put us in a spot close to the facilities and away from the road. They knew we would appreciate the quiet and the shorter walk to the bathrooms. Very thoughtful! The afternoon of our trip back through, they texted us to let us know that we had the same site with the same access code for that evening. It was seamless. The location is also great. It is close to I-40 with easy on and off. It feels safe behind locked gates and thick walls. Noise at night was minimal, considering the urban location. Just across the main road, there are many options to eat, which was great when we didn't feel like cooking. Multiple gas stations are also close. There is a truck stop nearby and one of the nights there were many big rigs parked on the road, but they made no difference to the experience of staying on the property. We only saw a few other people during our stays. They were friendly and everyone just kept to themselves. It was tough to judge how many residents are long-term versus short-term, but I did notice some turnover between our Saturday and Wednesday stays. Overall, I strongly recommend Birdie if you need a place to stay in Albuquerque! We will definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again.

The park is next to the casino and hotel and there's a free shuttle that will take you back and forth if you want. Just call them and they will come and get you. While we haven't used the showers; we did use the laundry today and it was $2.50 per load to wash and dry. Everything worked great. The main reception building is awesome with games, fireplace and seating, plus a kitchen if you're here with a group. There is a tiny exercise room too! There is a pickleball court as well as sand volleyball and a putting green. So much to do here! WiFi was pretty sad at 2-3Mb so don't expect to do great things. We had our Starlink yay There is a nice pool that will open soon too. They have propane service too. $61 per night with an aarp discount. It's about a 25 minute drive into Albuquerque too.

This is the first RV park we have been to that has 100 Amp hookups. Wow! What kind of RV uses…read morethat?? We booked a 'luxury pull-through site'. The concrete slab was 85' long by 16' wide. Again, a big fan of not having to disconnect the tow vehicle. They have a free shuttle to and from the casino, even though it's only a short walk away. They also provide a keycard for the gate that separates the RV resort from the casino. The park is quiet and well maintained. There's no public dumpster, just leave your garbage in front of your RV by 10 am and they'll come pick it up.

We pulled in around midnight, exhausted and stressed, and were greeted by the kindest soul, Sandy. She listened to our situation with genuine care, checked us in with a smile, and immediately made us feel safe and supported. You can tell that Sandy loves her job and truly cares about the people who come through this park. Her kindness that night set the tone for everything that followed, and I will never forget that first interaction. What we thought would be a one-week stay has now turned into several weeks while our truck is being repaired, and the entire KOA staff has gone above and beyond for us. When we came back to the office to break the news that our situation had gotten much worse, Kellie and Justin stepped in right away, booked us for the month, applied every discount they could, and genuinely tried to help us save money. They didn't treat us like "just another reservation" they treated us like real people going through something hard, and that level of compassion is rare. The hiring manager has struck gold with this team. Every employee we've met has been kind, helpful, and clearly invested in keeping this park running smoothly. The property is clean, well-maintained, and feels safe. There is nightly security, the laundry room is spotless (which is NOT the norm for many RV parks), and you can tell the staff works around the clock to take care of the grounds. Our site is spacious with plenty of room between neighbors, and every person we've met here has been friendly and respectful. The views are beautiful, and we've genuinely felt at peace here, even in the middle of a really stressful life moment. I'll be honest, I had sworn off KOAs in the past after several disappointing experiences... but this KOA changed my entire perspective. Because of Sandy, Kellie, Justin, and the rest of the team here, I will happily give KOA another chance at future stops, this is what every KOA should aim to be.
