Visited for just a glass of wine with friends and was impressed with their extensive wine list, specifically because there were a few New York wines on the menu (although I'd like to see more). I really wish they had outdoor seating on the West Main Street side of the building, because it was a beautiful day and we really wanted to stay outside (hence why we stayed for only one drink). We sat by the window though and our waitress was attentive and friendly. Also enjoyed the Dr. Frank skeleton. I'll definitely be back and would love to get a snack the next time.

Went to Symposium Wine Bar today for brunch, and I was a little nervous seeing there were no lactose free options on the menu. I let our server know, and she kindly asked the chef what the our options were. While they don't have something directly on the menu (unless you do a dish minus cheese), they do have some dairy free cheeses. Our server, Karen, sat down and walked me through an option where the chef would make me a custom toast with their dairy free cheese. It was FABULOUS! I was so so pleased. I 100% recommend going to Symposium!

Came here with a friend for brunch and was so impressed! Staff were so friendly and welcoming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Enjoyed two espresso martinis and "the goat". A good mix of sweet and savory. Delicious. Can't return to return and try something else that I'm sure will be equally as good!

Had a delicious brunch here this morning!! The cannoli French toast was amazing and the croque madame my husband loved. He also loved the Bloody Mary . The service was excellent. Very nice place will definitely be back.

So glad my bestie Ryli recommended we try this place! It was awesome. The atmosphere is very cool, although it can definitely get a bit loud when it's full with people. We tried a small charcuterie board with some of their rotating cheese and meats and the Mediterranean snack board. Both were great!! Our favorites were the cheese with truffles and the white Stilton with apricot. The whipped feta was fantastic as well. They had 4 mocktails on the menu but only 1 available which was the cucumber collins and pretty tasty! I love the way they serve their wine flights too. I would definitely come back here to try more of their food!

By complete luck we came here on their opening day and was excited to check out this new wine bar a few doors down from Lily Belle's in Lancaster. Like any new business, opening day can be hectic and this place was actually not too bad. I love the chic decor, long bar, and high ceiling; however the sound really echo in the room which makes conversation difficult. They offer wine by the glass range from $9+ and also can purchase by bottle. I'm not a wine snob but do enjoy a glass of red from time to time. They've got a good selection of various wine on the menu as well as food. Not cheap, but average for a fancy wine bar. I believe that down the road, they should do Happy Hour specials and live jazz band to draw more crowds.

I would be open to moving this up to a 4 or 5 star review once the iron out some of the staffing and service issues - but I do understand they were there because of some family emergencies. I loved that they sat us in a back private room where our group could socialize without too much effort . I did really enjoy my pasta in vodka sauce - it tasted very fresh . The bread I added to my order - with a garlic balsamic dipping oil , was good too . Our server was only on her second shift ever there - she struggled quite a bit and didn't know the answer to many of our questions . The owner did come over to apologize for the long waits in between courses - we waited an hour before half of our group got entrees - the other half 10 min after that - but was assured that dessert wouldn't take long at all . While well received , it still took about 15-20 min to arrive . Long story short . Ambience - A Food - B Service - C- . Definitely a cool place to try out if they work out the service problems and train more staff .

Stopped here for brunch on a Sunday. Perfect little spot in downtown Lancaster. Their brunch menu was very modern and upscale to match the atmosphere. I got the avocado toast and the presentation was GORGEOUS! Felt like something you would get at an elite city establishment. And our server was very pleasant!

Fried…read morebanana peppers were good enough for a frozen product: the portion is big (as is the price) so good for a table but not an individual appy. Beef brisket on weck (their version of a Buffalo favorite Beef on weck) was very underwhelming! Smaller than average bun with equally small amount chopped "smoked" beef brisket where the smoke was almost undetectable. The bun was loaded with course salt on top which thankfully brushed off easily. Where's the horseradish sauce? Nope. None. Or so it seemed. Served with seasoned potato chips which were tasty but were ungodly salty. And.. wait for it... 3 see-through thin pickle chips in a separate plastic take-out cup which probably cost them more than the pathetic pickle they put in it. Why bother? So not to sound entirely negative the Grilled cheese with beef brisket was the winner and would be worth a reorder. Upgraded to Truffle fries which were also a pedestrian from-frozen frozen product also with way too much salt but were tasty. But then truffle anything is good. Bottom line: Not going to rush back except maybe to hear some music and a refreshment; maybe share a basket of deep-fried breaded banana peppers. Warning: If you have high blood pressure you may want to be cautious because of the salt overload in seemingly everything. If you want a really good Beef on weck go to Flavor Restaurant located on Buffalo Tournament Club Golf course in Lancaster. (No I am not an owner OR an employee just a foodie!)

Eggplant Caprese 9/10 Very crispy eggplant breading. The eggplant itself was cooked good. There was also more eggplant than there was Mozz and tomato- so I would suggest adding another couple slices to balance out every bite. I'd add a touch more balsamic too. Bison sliders 8/10 Meat was good, the slider burgers were pretty thick and juicy. I would recommend since they were so think maybe cooking them a minute less for a more medium cook. I liked the goat cheese paired with the meat but you really couldn't taste it, i wish there was more. I'm not sure if it was the onion jam or the blueberry BBQ but something was a little spicy. Bbq pork belly tacos 7/10 The pork was cooked great, and the bbq was a good flavor. I liked the idea behind the double shell (one hard, one corn tortilla), but I think it would have worked better if it was a flour tortilla because both shells ended up breaking and I needed to use a fork to eat it. Between the hard shell and the sweet potato crisps, there was too much crunch for me. I did like the pairing of the pineapple with the BBQ sauce.

He once told me that the only thing worse than cheap wine is Buffalo in the winter and of course, here we are.. We searched Yelp and Share Kitchen had great reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. Our server was Hannah and she is absolutely a 5 stars gem! Super nice and down to earth. We ordered several dishes: 1) Eggplant Caprese: deep fried eggplant, tomato, basil chiffonade, and balsamic drizzle. The eggplant is breaded and spiced nicely. It was served hot. There are 2 and it was good 2) Roasted Artichoke: it was really the heart with the stem, breaded, served with a very small amount of arugula, lots of shaved parmesan and a lemon wedge. This was very good- wish there was a bit more arugula. My bad for not ordering a salad 3) Bison Sliders: the blueberry BBQ sauce intrigued me. There are 3 and it is served medium, or maybe medium rare. The grilled onions were yummy on there! 4) Jackruit Tacos: these were on the paper menu with their specials. What is smart is the taco shell is fried and they serve it inside a regular tortilla. Both corn. Yummy with the pickled onion. 5) chocolate ganache cake: GF and surprisingly dense and yummy. Served with a dollop of strawberry jam and some whipped cream. Yummy! I didn't take a photo of it as we just dove in! We are bummed that they are booked tomorrow night! It's a great place to take a date and there are tables for 4 or you can eat at the bar as well. All around great ambience, our server is awesome and the food ono!! We talked to the host while waiting for our Uber and he is also born & raised in Buffalo- everyone we've met from Buffalo is so nice, including our neighbor who we will deeply miss. Our waitress was really nice and answered all of our questions. We sat outside because the nice weather in Buffalo is pretty short lived year round.
