My all time favorite acai bowl in the bay!! I've tried a variety of places but I truly love this place and I usually get the bear bowl! Something about the Nutella chocolate topping just takes it to the next level! The staff are friendly and the space is clean and spacious. Whenever I go there's barely any line and I get the order really quick! Absolutely love this place and will only get acai from here on repeat!

Cravings were real today. I drove to this place because the bowls looked bomb on Yelp, and boy, did they not disappoint. The place is small with limited seating, and parking is tough, but that's kind of expected here. The girl cutting the fruit looked a little sad (I kind of wanted to give her a hug), but thankfully, my acai didn't taste sad. It was so fresh, fruity, and made me feel healthy afterward. I think I got the Gatherer bowl. Bomb. Ill be back.

My fave acai spot! I've been to several around the bay but this one always hits the spot. Their acai is not too sweet and actually stays cold and frozen for longer. Their ingredients always taste so fresh as well! Whenever I come here, I always get the Gatherer ($13)! Love the goji berries and almond butter. Only downside is the goji berries get pretty hard soon after bc of the cold acai. Service was also quick and there was ample eating indoors.

Delicious bowls! The Palm Açaí bowls and smoothies are so so good. The fruit is always incredibly fresh with moderately sized portions for the price. The price to add toppings/make modifications to the bowls are on the cheaper ends compared to other similar businesses in the area. They are perfect for a hot summer day or after a run! Palm Açaí is usually very busy, especially early on the weekends so make sure to order ahead! It's nestled in Elmwood where the people watching and community vibes are perfect. If you order ahead, you also get enrolled into their rewards systems to earn free smoothies and bowls! The decor is super cute and Instagramable inside with super friendly staff!

We went on a hike and were looking for a healthy and energizing post-hike snack. This truly hit the spot! I ordered the Little Bear Açai bowl (in the regular size). You can't go wrong with an Açai bowl filled with strawberries, bananas, berries, and granola. The Nutella and coconut toppings were a lovely sweet touch. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area to try their other Açai bowls.

This place is one of the best, if not the best açaí bowl place here in the Bay Area. I walked in and was greeted with a warm welcome by the staff. Nice earthy-feel atmosphere. They took our order and within 4 minutes it was ready. Now that's good customer service. I got one of their more popular bowls which was the Hunter bowl. The base consisted of açaí, cashew milk, banana, strawberry and the toppings consisted of granola, banana, blueberry, peanut butter, raw honey, and cocoa nibs. The toppings were fresh and generous and the price was reasonable. Tasted absolutely great and very refreshing on the hot day. The cocoa nibs and granola particularly added a nice crunch. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking to satisfy their açaí craving or just looking for something sweet in general!

My absolute favorite place to grab an açai bowl!! You can't really go wrong with any of the options (since you can also customize any as well). My go to is the Gatherer or Amazonian bowls; their acai base is so tasty and a little more frozen than liquid-y which I love! Plus generous toppings. The shop is adorable with some seating inside, and they have some smoothies and I believe warm bowl options too. It's always consistently good! I'm craving it now writing this haha. Definitely come here! :)

This truly hit the spot for me! I'll definitely be coming back often. I got the tropical smoothie, but since I'm pregnant and my body is craving certain things, I customized it with just strawberries, coconut milk, and lime. It was icy cold and absolutely refreshing. Thank you so much, ladies, for being so patience with me! I had to come back after walking around sipping on it because it helped calm down my high blood pressure. The cold icy, fresh strawberries were so smoothing. I really appreciate that they use fresh, wholesome fruits. Plus - I haven't been able to stomach much food for weeks and been feeling sick so this helps ease my stomach. I've been going to a different place in Oakland, but not anymore--I'll be coming here instead! The ambiance was cute, posh, and clean, and everyone was so pleasant. I'll definitely be back for the exact same thing.

one of my top favorite acai places ever - yes, it does closely rival palmetto superfoods, if you've ever tried it. the gatherer bowl is always my go-to, and throughout the infinite times i've ordered this, it consistently delivers results above the mark. the fruit is fresh and generous, the toppings are plentiful to the point they're almost spilling outside of the bowl, and the almond butter ties the most perfect bow on top of the gift that is the acai bowl. it's the brunch meal and dessert all in one! service is quick and the shop is quick to fill up! the surrounding elmwood area is lovely to walk around afterward.

Dragon Bowl-- 4/5. Very refreshing, but I wish the portions were a bit more equal. There is a lot more açaí than there are toppings. The large bowl I got was like $16.50 if I'm not mistaken which I think is a little over the top. Overall, the staff was nice, and my bowl only took about 5 mins to come out. The cafe is located in a busy area surrounded by other shops, so parking may be a little more difficult.

Another amazing trip! Bowls are always amazing. This isn't our first or our last trip here.

Make sure you confirm what you are getting. You will see on the base lots of ingredients but you wont see them n your bowl. They will say " mixed in" excuse me MIXED IN!!!!

    Tamalpais with Strawberry
    Rose L.

Got the Tamalpais with Strawberry instead of Kiwi, Two Notes: - You can only sub toppings in the same price range - Parking is nasty here, there is parking infront of the library sometimes. The flavor of the base was great! They were able to make it more icy for me by adding less cashew milk. The strawberries were very tart with the blueberries but the honey and bee pollen. Overall it was okay for $18 with tip and tax. Good for a quick Acai fix but definitely other options available too!

Is acai vegan? What is it exactly?

Yes, açaí is vegan. It's a small, dark purple berry that comes from the açaí palm tree.

Is it possible to replace cashew milk in the base? Asking due to allergy to cashew milk.

Hi! Yes we can accommodate cashew allergies, we sub with coconut milk. Please be sure to specify when ordering in person or online that there is an allergy. Thank you!

Do you know if they make their own Almond butter?

    It's from Trader Joe's / Costco

On the Blue Hawaii Bowl (without granola) the fresh fruit on top was good, but the base itself was a letdown. It had a bitter taste rather than being sweet, and overall it wasn't anything special or memorable. Also, keep in mind that the bowls don't come automatically with toppings; you have to pay extra for them, and they didn't have many options to choose from anyway. The texture of the base was fine, but the flavor missed the mark. Their smoothies actually looked a bit better, so if I ever went back, I'd probably try a smoothie instead, though I wouldn't go out of my way to return. My friend ordered the Rainbow Poke Bowl. He claimed it tasted fresh, wasn't dry, and had a lot of good flavors. It had a bit of a Hawaii vibe to the flavoring that reminded him of the islands, and while it was better than other mainland poke options, it still didn't quite compare to the real thing in Hawaii. The staff were very nice, and the interior of the shop is very decorative and cute. However, the location is in a rougher area with bad parking. Because the shop leaves its doors open, the strong smell from the street and the presence of homeless individuals hanging right outside drift directly into the shop. Not a destination spot for me, but the smoothies and staff might be worth a look if you're already in the area.
