We had an enclosure installed a few (4?) years ago. Went to raise it up and it wouldn't move. I changed the battery in the remote - nothing. Checked all the circuit breakers in the fuse box - all ON. I called PBE; Jaylen answered. I told him my problem. "To save you a service call, did you check the GFI switches?", he asked. So I checked those. Sure enough, one had tripped. No follow up. Owner says he's too busy. We've been trying for 10 months to get issues remedied and nothing happens. The owner (David) said this week "we did 4.7 million in business last year. We don't have time to make repairs". My porch leaks. This means that Palm Beach Enclosures did a poor installation, which they don't care to fix. The owner says he does not care about referrals (for more work) because he's so busy he doesn't need any new business. OK. Palm Beach Enclosures won't get any referrals from me. I am really surprised how many good reviews this company has. We chose them because of their high rating but had a horrible experience. We had an existing deck with a roof on it that we wanted to get screened in. They agreed to do so and also recommended we install vinyl flooring as well. They said the job was supposed to take about three days, but we needed to wait since they had a lot of jobs in front of us. Finally we were told that a guy named Shawn (not sure if that is spelled right), would be doing our installation. Over the next two days he did about 90% of the job. He told us he would be back the next day to finish which included sealing any open spots so bugs could not get in and laying down the bottom of the door. This was the last time we ever saw him. We called Shawn as well as the owner multiple times and (if they answered) they said they would come out, but never did. After a few months we just gave up. They even left some of their tools at our house but never came back to get them. The best part came about a year later (our interaction with Palm Beach was about two years ago). When we were having a lot of water coming into the porch and sitting on the flooring that was recommended. We were worried about the possibility of mold or rotting happening to the deck floor below so we had to hire someone to come and rip up the floor that was laid and there was mold under it. Looking back on the whole interaction we realized where we went wrong was paying the balance of what we owed before the last 10% of the job was done. Once they got our check, they cashed it and we never saw or heard from them again. If you interact with them, do not pay them when they ask for the rest of the money until you are 100% satisfied. read more

As long as you don't run into problems they are good to work with. They came out on time to provide a quote. They came to do the install within the timeline provided at the time of the quote, and the work completed so far looks good. Unfortunately they didn't complete the work as there was a problem with the parts for the door and they have never been back to complete it...that was over 6 weeks ago. They don't call to keep us up to date of when they will come, we have to keep calling and we keep getting promises, but no one comes. I now have an expensive and large bug and bird trap. read more

This is the worst $7500.00 I ever spent. The crew never showed up when they were suppose to. We had to spend 7 days of our lives for them to complete the job. Each of those days were wasted waiting for the crews to show so we could be here for them to use our stuff(pencils, my drill) and besides that I didn't know I could trust them. 6 months after ordering and our patio shades are still not right. We paid extra to have them painted to match our trim, but they installed them with the wrong color. They sag and have a wave to them. Numerous promises to fix them have been made and several no call no show appointments have come and gone. Our next step is legal action, which I plan to initiate next week. We spent almost $8k on these shades and the result is pathetic. There are other reputable companies, go with them not these guys. read more

We installed a retractable patio screen 5/2016. The product is very nice; however, we cannot get the company to make the necessary repairs. We continue to have the same issue of the screen pulling lose from the frame. The owner has told me we should have purchased the wind detector. We actually purchased that but he continues to make excuses. They continue to schedule dates to come and repair and fail to show. They provide no timelines and I have to continually hound them to schedule service, which I still haven't received. If you use this company make sure there are no "problems" before they leave as they will not come back to make adjustments. I have been trying for over a year to get them to come back and add support to a railing that is verry wobbly. While they were on site I informed them not to remove support if railing wouldn't be stable. They assured me it would be fine. It is not! I have talkd to David at least 3 times and their installer at least twice. I was assured it would be fixed. Love my screen room and railing but some of the work was a little sloppy. I am ok with that but I am worried my grandchildren will fall through the wobbly railing. read more

Had Palm Beach enclosers do the roof on my patio. Did not do any overhang so rain comes on my porch and handrail. Talked to Dave Hughen and he refused to do any corrective action.
