They also had a robe laid out and ready. I stayed in for about 30 minutes, though I believe the maximum session is around 45 minutes. Sadly after coming here for years, I won't be back. New management has taken over changing/upping the pricing and packages, which is part of change - but the demeanor of the new management is a total turn off. I've been in 3x since they took over and every time was uncomfortable. A LOT of upselling pressure which feels icky in Beverly Hills...honestly, I think everyone in the area will buy what they need and don't need to feel cheesy sales tactics pressures. I bought a package of 3 spray tans and had 1 remaining I attempted to use last week. I was dealing with a younger team member who was nice and doing a great job, but they were quickly overtaken by the overbearing manager trying to upsell me things. I said no thanks and that made her upset I didn't buy into the upsell, just so uncomfortable. So then for my spray tan, she initially told me $48 but I reminded them of my packages to which the manager immediately said NO very stearnly and rudely and just looked at me. I was like, Oh last time I was in I actually bought a package of 3 and have only used 2 so far. They took a long time to check, obviously saw I was right then said my total was $8 with no apology. So uncomfortable and makes what should be a simple & easy, maybe even relaxing experience of breezing in for a tan just horrific. My anxiety when way up and when I got in the room to tan, the younger team member apologized to me for the manager's behavior. I won't be back because of the new, bad management that has taken over. Side note - they no longer heat the spray tan machines so it is ICE COLD and I left a shivering mess. I will not recommend this Palm Beach Tan location moving forward, after telling others how great staff was there for years. Ah well! read more

I had accumulated hundreds of tan dollars and they erased them and they don't care. I was told by rachel the old manager that I had a year to use those tan dollars and they erased them after 6 months. It looks like someone erased them in March. There is a new manager at the Beverly Hills palm beach tan who is rude and doesn't care about you. They used to have a great manager there but now it's some woman named, Tanya, who will raise her voice and argue with you. She won't make it right. No one at corporate answers the phone, it goes straight to a voice mail. For all I know she is the one who stole my tan dollars. It's the principle of the matter and I was scammed and these people are fraudsters now so stay away at all costs. Oh and Tonya who knows NOTHING about anything ... she was really gonna say well I can see where she gave you $30. Yeah I was credited $30 of tan dollars because my credit card was overcharged for my monthly dues because Palm Beach Tan made a mistake and they really should've refunded the money to my credit card card, not given it to me in tan dollars but that's how they did it and now they really stole my money... no manners and no class... I really expect to speak to someone with more class when I'm using services in Beverly Hills lol. read more

it's been over six years since I started going to Palm Beach Tan in Beverly Hills and Westwood. Sadly, the Beverly Hills location struggled after the pandemic hit, but then came Rachel, the new manager, and Caroline at the front desk, and everything has changed for the better! These two have restored the elegance and level of service that had been missing. They really take the time to understand how each guest prefers their tan, and I appreciate that they keep us informed about the tanning beds, especially when they have new bulbs.... cleanliness is impressive, and essentials are always stocked. I'm giving 2 stars because it's clean and the beds are good. I guess that's all you need, truly. But if you're looking for customer service, this place is not it for you. The girls that work here are truly incompetent. They don't know what they're talking about, and have horrible attitude. If you're looking for a tanning salon, know what you want and then just get that. The information and the way they will persuade you to lower your time on the bed so you come more is truly obvious. I normally don't leave reviews, but my experience at this location has been so disappointing, I feel obligated to share it to help others avoid what I went through. I signed up for the Gold EFT membership under the impression--based on what was advertised and told to me in person--that it included certain amenities and services. Unfortunately, from the moment I became a member, it's been nothing but confusion and inconsistency. Every employee I spoke with gave me a different explanation about what my membership actually covers. The lack of training and knowledge at this location is shocking. To make matters worse, I had an incredibly rude encounter with an employee named Rachel. She was unprofessional, dismissive, and made absolutely no effort to clarify or help resolve my concerns. Instead, she treated me like an inconvenience, and that attitude seemed to be the norm, not the exception. When I raised concerns about the membership not being honored as advertised, no one took accountability. There was no transparency about the terms of the GOLD EFT membership, and I feel like the way it was promoted vs. what was actually delivered is borderline deceptive. The staff seemed indifferent to my frustration and showed no interest in offering any kind of solution. They simply did not care. They did not care to even offer the step up membership that may have been a solution but NOTHING. After more than two months of trying to get clarity--only to finally hear from corporate, who confirmed that what's listed online doesn't even match what's being said in-store--I honestly feel misled, unheard, and disrespected. I hate to say this, but the entire environment at this Beverly Hills location felt snobby, unwelcoming, and selectively prejudiced. I was treated with resistance every time I voiced a concern, and I truly believe if I looked or spoke a certain way, I might have been received differently. Simi Valley management was no different. I noticed that these places cater to a certain demographic and anything that steps out of the box of that demographic is resisted. It's disheartening to see such poor customer service and lack of professionalism in an area where you'd expect better. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this location at all. Be very cautious before signing any memberships here--what you're told in person, what's online, and what's actually honored are three totally different things. Save yourself the headache. I have eczema, so during the winter my skin usually gets bad due to the lack of sunlight. UV treatment is something that has been very helpful for me. I remember going to one of the downtown locations for Palm Beach Tan in the past, and so I decided to try this one out in Beverly Hills. This location has the vertical machines which I prefer since you can stand up and get a tan all around the body, it's similar to the one I used to use at doctor's offices. Very disappointed, customer. When proper steps have NOT been taken to explain to the customer - policies then the company should offer great customer service and correct the problem. 2 times I was NOT given the right info regarding cancellation and freeze policy. Now I'm being forced to go into a facility, I choose not to go in due to how all transpired. Now they will keep my money and not try to satisfy a customer and refund me. This is completely wrong. No one should ever be forced to go into a facility if they're not comfortable. Exceptions are always made. tanning beds may work, but staff is what's important here.. A customer support person told me that there is no one else that I can talk to. She confirmed she was not the owner and that there was no one else that would help me. That is hard to believe and so now I'm going to dig and find someone even if I just voice my concerns. read more

I've been to this location twice now and am disappointed in their deceptive marketing. The first time I came in for the $10 Tuesday promo I have seen physical signs for as well as posted on their website. Catch is this only gets you the "light" colored tan, anything else is an up charge. Their signs and online promo say nothing about this up charge you only really find out once you get there.I went ahead and got the light tan which actually turned out fairly nice so no complaints on that end. I came in again this morning wanting a "dark" tan and was prepared to pay the $45 walk in rate posted on their website for a single spray. I find this overpriced already but needed this done on short notice so I decided to bite the bullet. The lady at the front then tells me it's actually $45 for the spray and another up charge of $12 for the dark color... So the $45 is for what? The machine? I've been to other tanning salons and this is the only one I've tried that charges extra for a darker color. I also am struggling to find any information on their website about this up charge, it just says $45 for a single spray. This is the part that frustrates me the most. I'm not paying $58 for a spray tan from a machine with no bronzers or boosters. Literally walked out the door. Nothing against the staff for the tanning process itself, just find this bait and switch pretty annoying. PBT needs to implement transparent pricing online. read more

I would be a new client and gave them my information and phone number and they said that they could not help me without an ID. Why would I need an ID if I am using Apple Pay that shows my name on the card and it's not like I was using anyone else's credits because I was brand new. I will never come back.
