There is a ceiling surveillance camera in the back right with a clear view of several of the beds since there is only partition walls. I informed the clerk at the front and they didn't seem like it was a concern and said the camera doesn't work and it only views the hallway. It is a 360 camera and I am sure that it sees more than the hallway. Why would they even have it installed there. Very creepy. I will not go back. Remove the camera. read more

I've been tanning at this location on and off for a few years when I'm on this side of town. It needs major updates inside to the tanning booths, but they keep the tanning bed bulbs replaced on a regular basis which is nice. Staff is always friendly and I've never had an unpleasant customer service experience. And the beds; they are clean. Unlike some gyms where tanning is available and you must clean the bed yourself hoping there's a bottle of cleaning solution and paper towels, the staff cleans each bed after customer use. This location also offers spray tanning which I use, but be careful to follow instructions to avoid disaster! my doc hinted I might should try using sun beds in the winter for my psoriasis. Doc suggested a range of lumens and degrees of UVA vs UVB as my skin had responded well where I got some sun over the summer. I asked the manager for the data specifics on each of their beds so I could make an informed choice. I was told by the management that they didn't know, it was their unwillingness to call the owner or corporate to find answers to these questions that was befuddling. I recommended that they even look at the bulbs and go to a manufacturer's website to obtain the information. I was told, "you should do that". Unsure why my seemingly simple questions could not be answered, or why the management took a stance of being vehemently opposed to even help answer my simple questions. Absolutely bizarre experience, no reason for them to be absolutely rude like they were. Upon leaving, I was told to "have the day you deserve", insinuating that I was the one who had done something wrong. Assistant manager is possibly the rudest person I have ever encountered, literally for no reason. I went to get my spray tan for prom and the top of the mystic tan machine had condensation dripping on me during the whole process. I let the lady know as I left and I didn't really worry about it because it didn't appear to be that bad. I woke up this morning and got in the shower and it looks literally horrible. The machine missed the whole back of my arms and on the front there are so many streaks as well as on my back. Im not really mad at the salon because I'm sure the tan is perfect when there is no water dripping, and I could understand someone forgetting to look up as they are cleaning. I have no idea what to do at this point as far as my skin. I look like I have some sort of pigment disease. read more

I just recently started tanning. I got the basic package $20. $20 membership fee so all together $40.. No to bad for a month. So prices aren't outrageous. The lotions are. The staff is very pushy on selling which I understand that's your job but when someone says no they don't have it. Don't continue to push. Other then that the staff is friendly and helpful. Knowledgable of their sales and products. I've never gotten in a nasty or Unsanitized bed. I am greeted when I walk in and told bye when leaving. Not a bad place, could use a upgrade but all in all. I would not recommend anyone use Ultra Tan. From my bad experience, the company doesn't care about you. Let me explain with my story. After being a loyal patron for 6 months, I used the salon one afternoon and took off my small diamond necklace. I accidentally left the necklace on the stool and realized this approximately 1 hour later. I called the location immediately and was informed it was no longer there. Long story short, the girl working there changed her story a few times, saying she didn't see it, then she saw it, then someone else used the room after me, no one used the room after me, etc. I filed a police report since it was an expensive necklace. Nothing came of it and the girl ended up being fired days later, "not as a result of the incident/lied on her application". I wrote a letter to Ultra Tan Corporate and explained and asked for a resolution and they never responded to me. I called and they told me they couldn't do anything for me. I canceled my membership. This company was fine taking my money, then they screwed up and I was stolen from. They are only self serving and don't care about you, only getting your hard earned money. Chose somewhere else. You've been warned. read more
