Ate here on a Sunday evening around 6pm and I was the youngest customer in the restaurant! (37 years old) I dined with my parents and got the Gyro platter which was average. The price couldn't be beat though - $11 for a soup entree and dessert. It's typical diner fare - nothing really seems to shine but it's all eatable. read more

First and last time to the Palm Diner. I ordered coffee, a greek omelette, hash browns and a bagel. The omelette was cold and required salt. The hash browns were inedible, (burnt on one side and really cold on the other). The coffee was lukewarm and the bagel tasted like it came out of a bag. read more

We ate here with friends. We came here last year.I had the Greek half chicken which I found to be dry and overcooked. I had mushroom barley soup, a baked potato and corn which were ok. Went there today with a few friends to have breakfast and we were all very satisfied the eggs were perfect the omelettes were delicious the coffee was great and hot the service was very friendly. Summer is the time of year I like to try restaurants I have never tried. Being that this restaurant is in my backyard it made sense to finally try it, especially since I heard that it was under new ownership. So far all the restaurants I have tried the last couple of weeks I have been pleasantly surprised with and will now go to them regularly. Unfortunately this is not going to be one of them. There were 2 of us. I ordered the stuffed pepper and my guest ordered the fish and chips. We started with matzo ball soup. Not bad but not great. They serve you challah bread which they must cut in advance as it was very dry. My pepper came and it was completely covered with cheese which is fine as I love cheese but when it came to finding the pepper it was flat as a pancake. Not round and stuffed. On top of my flat pepper was about 2 tablespoons on meat mixed with marinara. Not enough for a bird and not what I would call a stuffed pepper. My guests fish was 3 pieces of fish that was way over cooked. I got the mashed potatoes and green beans. The beans were clearly from a can and even though I asked if the mashed potatoes were real they tasted like instant. To bad as I like to see mama papa restaurants succeed but this was just plain horrible. read more

This place has the BEST challah french toast and waffles in the area. I was only there once for dinner (it was okay), Our family visits 2-3x a month for Saturday or Sunday breakfast. The service is always very friendly, the prices good and there is plenty of parking. read more

None came and people were seated after us the server went to them. So we waited a couple more minutes and still no one. Palm Diner is a local restaurant frequented mostly by senior citizens in the area. The food is well priced. I enjoy the Mediterranean omelet for breakfast which is similar to a Greek Omelet with sausages added. I also enjoy their Greek Salad, Gyro and spanakopita (spinach feta in filo dough). Friends of mine love their eggplant parmigiana (but as I make my own) I never tried it. Staff friendly and frequent diners request their favorite waitress to serve them. read more

I think this place is terrible the way they treat people with service dogs the owner has a problem with people with dogs.i think he is terrible I would not go Back to this place ever.a women had a service dog there today had the vest on the dog and the owner sends over one of his waitresses to harass the owner of the dog can you put the dog under the table. That dog wasn't bothering no one. I spoke with the waitress when I was finished and she told me it wasn't a legit service dog I asked her how she knew that she said come on you can buy these vests on line. How dare her with no proof she just assumed the dog wasn't a service dog. The owner there is not a very nice person I have no idea why anyone would go there.Shame on you,not one customer complained about this dog he just hates dogs period.if I was this women I would have put in a complaint to animal services a take the starch out of his ass.when his mother is there there is never a problem with Dogs. read more

I have lived around the corner from this restaurant for 4 years. I think I came in once for a salad. I was not impressed back then. Last night, I went here with 2 friends. I will definitely be back. The dinner menu is unbelievable. Prices are so low. It has a great variety. I ordered the Greek pork chops. They were delicious. And boneless. I wasn't big on the sides. It also came with soup and a beverage. Oh, and dessert! The waitress was great. Refilled drinks and made sure we had Napkins and anything else that was needed. Very disappointing visit. Service was aloof. Could not get our server's attention. When we went to pay, we told the cashier/waitress that something was missing in the Greek salad. She was verbally very abusive and told us that they were understaffed. There were four servers and the place was far from full. Perhaps that's due to poor service. My wife and I have breakfast here often. I come for their home fries which are delicious, a little crispy and have tiny bits of onion. They are the best that I've found in Fla. Had a very bad experience here this morning. I bring a group to this restaurant every Thursday for the past couple of years. We have a great rapport with the wait staff and management, We are very good customers and repeat business. This morning one of the group ordered a waffle and found a VERY LARGE PIECE of PLASTIC in the waffle. Im sure it was an accident. I called the waitress over and she immediately wisked the plastic back to the kitchen. I asked to see the manager. He never came over till i called him myself. This could have been a disaster if it had been injested. The biggest problem was the manager EDDIE. He acted like it was no big deal and they were making another waffle to go. And then I assumed the customer would not be expected to pay and possibly a comp for the future. NOT SO. Was charged for the entire meal, So EDDIE do to your stupidity and lack of ethics, you have lost our future business for ever. And at every opportunity all day today have told everyone about our experience. We have another restaurant lined up for next Thursday and the future. read more

Went to Palm for a leisurely breakfast after my mother in law told me that it had been around forever. Greeted by a server .who was unfriendly and seemed hungover. I ordered a simple fare of easy over eggs and homefries with onions. The eggs were overdone and the potatoes had raw onions. I had to go to another table to retrieve some sugar that I told my server was all I wanted for my coffee. The entire wait staff looked bored and I never once saw a smile with any other customer. The service is the worst. Walked in no one at door sat ourselves at table in front by cashier. The owner and daughter were sitting in booth opposite us with two men. I had to ask the daughter for menus she got up and picked up two menus and literally threw on the table and sat right back down again. I was obviously bothering her. The staff was busy and obviously needed help. I was complaining to my mom about everything and the table with the owner moved to the other side in the back.
