Food was very good. Ample and tasty. Service(Shelby) was excellent. Ambiance was very poor. A customer had a dog sitting beside him in the booth and he was feeding the dog. Dog was very young and couldn't have been a service dog. he dog was siting right at the table eating with the owner. Sunday morning and this place is 95% full. Its seat yourself and I was able to score a booth by the window. The restaurant has about 10 booths and some long tables in the center. The beachy motif is on the walls and it gives off very good vibes. The staff is super friendly and as soon as I sat a young lady appeared to take my drink and food order. I ordered the make your own omelette, ham and cheese and I asked for triple cheese, with an everything bagel and some potatoes. I absolutely did not get triple cheese. In fact, I don't think there was even extra cheese at all, even though I was charged for it. I've eaten enough omelettes with extra cheese to know what extra cheese looks like, and that most certainly was not one of them. It was a very small layer of cheese with some ham inside of it. Nothing to write home about. I like an omlette that's fat and full of stuff and this just wasn't it. The home fries were good and everything bagel was actually the best thing on the plate. And if you get anything with jalapeños, or add jalapeños to your dish, get ready, cuz they're not bashful about adding jalapeños. In other words, if you come here with a cold or flu, and you get something with jalapeños, my friend, you will be relieved of your sickness. But don't come out of your house if you're sick, please! ;) The place holds about 50 people max and it can prob hold one small group of people so think about that before heading over. We had a good brunch/lunch here. The small restaurant is a southern style/old-fashioned type diner. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is breakfast all day with some added lunch specials. The prices are reasonable with large portions. My husband had their "old Florida" breakfast. His choice of eggs were basted, along with crisp bacon, a biscuit with gravy, and his choice of grits plus french toast. He said everything was perfectly cooked. I had a lunch item -- avocado stuffed with chicken salad. The chicken was stuffed into the shell of a half avocado and the avocado slices were served separately. The chicken salad was tasty with the addition of celery and slightly sweet with dried cranberries. There were crackers, as well. I chose fruit salad as my side. It was a large portion of fresh cut melons (I requested no pineapple), strawberries and grapes. There's a lot more on their menu that I'd like to try in the future -- plus they have blackboard specials. I'm so glad we found this place -- thanks fellow yelpers! This one is a keeper. read more

Nestled in a small strip center this place turns out some huge breakfast offerings and sandwiches! I chose the Old Florida Sampler breakfast which came with two thick half slices of fluffy french toast, two strips of bacon, one sausage link, two eggs (any style), I chose basted and another side (I chose grits). Everything was cooked perfectly! Service is fast and friendly and we never felt rushed. Tables were cleaned as soon as patrons left and more entered to enjoy their meals. I truly wish I could give this establishment 5 stars, but unfortunately I cannot. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, but the energy and attentiveness from the staff kept the experience from being what I'd hoped for. The diner itself is cozy and follows a "seat yourself" system. Shelby greeted my boyfriend and me at the door and kindly helped us find a table. Shortly after, a waitress named Corey came over to take our drink order. She didn't introduce herself, so I had to ask if she would be our server, and she confirmed. Unfortunately, the next time we saw Corey was only after we flagged her down to get our check. Shelby stepped in and helped us several times, and while I really appreciated her effort, I almost felt bad asking because it seemed like she had plenty of other responsibilities. Meanwhile, our original server was either nowhere to be found or giving the attentive energy we hoped for to other tables. As I mentioned, the food was excellent, and I would love to return, but the overall energy from our service made the experience uncomfortable. read more

Service was really slow but then, they were busy and the service was not bad. We ordered iced coffee and boy is it good coffee. Served in a big glass so we did not need a refill. I ordered two eggs scrambled with a side of fresh fruit and rye toast. The toast was buttery and room temp but melted. The eggs were soft scrambled like I ordered. The fruit was fresh and a good variety. My husband ordered cornbeef hash and he loved it. His toast was missing upon delivery but it was brought out quickly once he said something to our server. We also ordered a side of veggie sausage and the flavor was perfect but they were pretty oily. We did not sit long as there were people waiting on tables. I'm only writing a review to save another individual from coming to this dump. I got a breakfast sampler because I wanted some bacon and sausage. My bacon was completely shriveled up and was about 1 piece and a half. My sausage was questionable. My scrambled eggs tasted like plastic. My biscuit and gravity was flavorless and disgusting. My meal included a side of toast... I never got it. Waste of calories. Waste of money. Waste of time. My sister got a waffle with strawberries and nutella. Her waffle had a hair in it. Her strawberries on top were soggy and mushy. And to round it off, there was no Nutella on her waffle when they brought it out. Another item forgotten but still charged the full price. Restaurant is dirty. Floor covered in crumbs. Menus are greasy. Cups are dirty. Whole place is an overpriced dirt hole. My sister's arm was sticking to the wall as she sat on the inside of the booth. This place is across from Aldi's on Boynton Beach Blvd. It has some counter seating and a few tables and booths. When I sat down the table was sticky and there was dirt under it, too. The basic breakfast included eggs and potatoes $9, to add bacon or sausage $5, and $3 for coffee. $20 for breakfast is too much. Never ordered and left. I went to Bagels & for their breakfast special: egg, sausage or bacon, choice of potatoes, bagel with cream cheese and butter, coffee included $9.20 with tax and $2 tip. We came here one morning as we were passing threw the área and we were blown away! We were greeted immediately by a lovely lady named Patty. She has phenomenal customer service and took great care of us throughout our visit. Patty informed us their bread was fresh from a bakery and that their Almond crusted French toast was a favorite. We dove right in and ordered fresh white toast, almond FT, and biscuits and gravy. When we were waiting Patty brought out the toast while it was hot and fresh out the toaster. I want to start by saying the two servers aren't bad. They were nice, obviously overwhelmed but that's ok. After our wait we sat down and waited forever no silverware or menus (which I was ok with) after I asked for our menus and silverware we ordered shortly after! The food took FOREVER AND IT WAS COLD! we were starving and couldn't get the servers attention to save our lives so we just ate it! I found a short hair on my chicken sandwich plate! None of us have short hair and neither did the servers so clearly it's from someone in the kitchen! It wasn't on the sandwich itself it was just on the plate so I wiped it off. At this point I'm beyond annoyed but being a server in the past I obviously know it's not their fault and I couldn't even get napkins or coffee at a decent time so my complaint would've left me there for probably another hour! . Finally we get the bill( that was the fastest part). So I go to the bathroom to wash my hands because you know! No napkins and I slip on the wet floor between the bathroom and the kitchen! There was no wet floor sign! I already have a broken toe so this slip literally made me see stars! I wanted to flip out and I started crying! If they have cameras there they would see that I slipped! Anyway I didn't want to flip out on the servers so I paid, tipped and left! I was beyond understanding and patient!! They're very lucky It was me and not someone else!
