They do have amazing customer service and make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. Unfortunately I developed toenail fungus after visiting them . How do I know I got it there? Well I hadn't gotten a pedicure at a nail salon in over a year and finally decided to stop by this place, after about 3-4 weeks I needed another pedicure or polish redone and so I went back. When the gentleman took my polish off I noticed a white spot on my toenail which he saw too and still continued with the pedicure. I did think maybe it was a toe injury of some sort and if it was fungus maybe the guy would tell me he couldn't continue. After a few days I took the polish off to double check and it's no injury it's damn toenail fungus. read more

Great nail place that I stumbled across by surprise. I had a terrible experience elsewhere and my nails were absolutely ruined and I came across this place and Maya was able to fix my nails. My nails looked the very best it has in a very long time. It was very hard to find a place that offered great and kind service and did a great job on making my nails look amazing. Why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that they do not clean the cuticles and also, selecting nail colors was difficult since it's behind the counter of the nail techs and they do not let you go back there to pick the colors. The numbers are all organized by numbers and no one knows the name of each color. So when you ask for a color, the nail techs don't know which color you are asking for. But once that is sorted out, they do a very nice job on the nails. I am very happy with the results and will be coming back again. read more

Wow! Bin is amazing! I came in with a badly infected toe and even though it was very painful for him to work on he was as gentle as he could be and he was able to remove the ingrown nail. I can't believe how much better it feels in just a couple hour. The shop is VERY clean and Bin uses a clean sterile set of tools on each customer. I will definitely be going back for pedicures. If it was possible to leave no stars that would be what I would leave. I've been to the salon one other time a couple months ago and it was OK I decided to give it another chance. What a mistake that was I made a 145 appointment when I got there at 1:40 I could see that my manicurist was nowhere near being done with her current client. I asked the lady at the front desk to ask her how much longer it would be as maybe I would consider running an errand. She asked her and her response was a half an hour. I could not wait that long as I had another appt at 3. Then this guy Ben comes up and starts yelling yes yelling at me that it's only 1:40. I tried to say I know that but she's not going to be done for a half an hour and he just kept yelling it's only 140 it's only 140. Even the people that were getting their nails done had a look of shock on their face! This is not how you talk to customers I don't know how they stay in business but do not go! Having regular mani/pedis can either be a 2 hour chore filled with apprehension about the results, or a relaxing gift you give yourself. At Palm Nails, it's definitely a gift. The salon is modern, extremely clean and comfortable. The owners are skilled, friendly, helpful, and make it clear they want you to have a great experience. Their work is wonderful and I always get compliments. I never have to worry about my gel manicure or pedicure looking ragged in between appointments. Found this on YELP, read the reviews and had to check it out. Ben and his staff are amazing. When I walked in Ben addressed me by my name and everytime someone came in he knew everyone's first name and greeted each and everyone with a smile. Ben did my nails and I tried the Dip process and I am so happy with his work and my beautiful nails. I accidentally chipped my pedicure and when I went back to get it fixed, i was once again greeted with open arms and a nice cold bottle of water. For the price point- absolutely fabulous. They are all very kind & welcoming, & were willing to try to accommodate walk-ins as best they could from what I witnessed. The salon is clean & sterile (although I think they should use plastic liners in their pedi tubs). My last appointment was with Paul & he really did a wonderful job! My gel mani cracked in two places after two weeks. ..I know two weeks is standard but that never used to happen with my old salon in LA. I believe they were using a different gel top coat/sealer? I don't know, but regardless Paul totally shaped my nails to perfection & I loved my first experience at Palm Nails so much that I made a second appointment. Ehh, now I can't genuinely give a five star review. A very sweet girl did my nails this time around (forgive me I don't recall her name). Granted, she had to mend two of my nails which I know is a pain. But frankly, she just wasn't as thorough... wasn't as meticulous as my last mani. Unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to tell if I uploaded a photo but I can see globs on several of my nails where the gel just wasn't smoothed out evenly on the tips. Even if the gel polish didn't set evenly, it should have been filed before setting with top coat or evened out with hard gel. That is my only gripe, but in all honestly, for the price I can't complain! read more

Very nice nail shop. Fairly new and building clientele, but great service is moving them right along. I was greeted immediately, by the owners. They both are very pleasant. The salon is big, bright and very clean. I was seated quickly. The chairs are very nice and far better than most massage chairs I've experienced. My pedicure was greet. It was relaxing and thorough. I nice scrub and foot massage topped it off perfectly. I will definitely make this place my regular salon. Palm Nails hit a new low in customer service My sister in law and I had appointments. We were on time. I was hurriedly shown to the chair next to my SIL. Ok, they were running a bit late. Time ticked on. No one asked me what I wanted or what colour etc. Then ..... the manager told me I had to move. What?? I was at the station next to my SIL. He grabbed the back of my chair and wheeled me to a spot between 2 stations. He even mentioned I was to sit between 2 stations. A woman who had just walked in sat down where I had been waiting and thanked them for taking her. What about me???? I was on time and had an appointment. For that, I was ignored and then literally rolled from a station to "no where". Unbelievably rude. Sure, he was apologetic later but my nails aren't done and my visit with my SIL was disruptive. Don't go if you think an appointment means an appointment. In my case, people without appointments were moved ahead of me and I was shuttled aside. I will say the girls doing the work were cute and sweet. It wasn't their fault. The manager ( male) is the fault. read more

We are from San Diego and were staying in La Quinta for the weekend for my daughter's 16 bday and there were 7 of us which they were able to accommodate us all at once (I called previously in the morning to make an appt). All of the staff was super friendly from the get-go. Bin was the one who checked us in and actually worked on my pedicure. He was super charming, sweet, and funny! He made the whole experience great!
