This nail salon is by far the best in the desert! The customer service is amazing & the owners are sweethearts. I've been here all but 3 times and after the first time they remembered my name and what I got done each time. I do not know the owners personally and I wasn't paid to give them five stars! I was looking for a new nail salon to go to . I seen this one and it had a lot of good reviews So I thought I'd give it a try . I went on a fri night about 615 and they were busy, but greeted me right away and told me how long it would be . The owner bin gave me a cold bottle of water and sat me in one of there message chairs while I waiting for them to start my nails . Christin was very nice and keep thanking me for waiting . She did a very good job on my nails . Bin then started my pedicure. It was almost 8 pm well after they closed at 7 but stayed to finish mine as well as another customer . I've been to other salons we're they have turned me away because they closed in 30min . Bin did a great job with my pedicure. He was very nice , friendly and seemed to really care about his customers and his business His wife finished my pedicure with a design, she is just a nice as her husband . I've been getting my nails done for a long time , and I think this is the best place in the desert , im so glad I have this fairly new place a try Definitely will be back !! read more

Never been here before and decided to give a new salon a try! I usually go to Coachella, but I don't like the drive. Anyway, I was looking to get a new set of acrylics, as mine had grown out. Saw good reviews so I gave them a call and made an appointment for the early morning before work. I had asked about soaking off instead of "scooping" off my previous acrylic extensions and they said they could do that. *MIND THE FACT THE NIGHT BEFORE I thought I could "help" them by trimming and filing off my previous nail color* I show up in the morning and I get seated at the far end. I mention I cut one of my nails too short so to be careful... already the process is...??? My acrylic leftovers are "scooped" out instead of soaking LIKE I ASKED FOR, he buffs them sorta gently but then files the sides a little too roughly and so that one finger bleeds. I worried and kept asking if that was ok and he kept saying it was. I noticed he didn't do the thing where they measure each finger and its opposite... he also didn't file the injured finger enough, nor cleaned off the little blood that escaped... and he also didn't clean off the cuticles, NOR did he use oil for my nail beds... by the time we were done, the color was nice/okay, but my finger was really sore and I had to ask for him to file down some nails that were too long compared to the other :( in the end I tried not to be too picky, the price was about average for "coffin" nails... when I got home though I realized ALL OF MY NAILS WERE UNEVEN. I wanted to cry but I figured I may as well try and even them out myself. Since some were already too closely filed it hurt to do much more though. Color was cute but the job was not what I expected. Found out later someone recommended them only for pedicures. I'm giving them two stars because they were REALLY REALLY nice, the place was cute, and because maybe they would be good for pedicures? Not for me but maybe for someone else? I dunno, but I learned my lesson: DON'T CHANGE FROM YOUR TRUSTED NAIL TECH now I'm waiting for these to grow out to be fixed elsewhere and pray that they aren't too damaged! read more

This place shouldn't even have one star. Walked in at 4:00pm, there were 4 other people getting their nails done and they tell me they cant do my nails because they are too busy. The correct response should have been "do you mind waiting" not "we are busy, sorry" maybe even giving a time to wait and letting me decide whether to wait or not. I moved back to the desert recently and found this place on yelp. I was excited by the great reviews and they did not disappoint. They were running a bit late but he fully communicated which I appreciated and it was worth the wait. Super friendly and clean. They know the clients by name and treat people like family. Very nice! I found this nail salon a couple months ago after my boyfriend got me a gift certificate to go here. Up until this last time I had been fairly satisfied with their service. I was on maternity leave so had always gone in during the week when they weren't very busy. Well now I'm back at work so I had to schedule to go in Saturday morning. When I called Bin said they could take me in for a pedicure. When I walked in, the lady asked me if I wanted my nails done as well, and I said you know what, I think I do want a full set, but Bin ended up telling her, "No, no nails. We don't have time. Just her pedicure." I could not believe it. I had never ever had that happen to me before anywhere! I should have walked out there and then, but I didn't. The lady proceeded to start on my pedicure, and I kid you not, she was done in less than 20 minutes. I went to relax after a long work week, and I got the worst service, and a horrible pedicure. I will never ever be returning here. I will not be giving my money to someone who doesn't care to have my business. read more

I read all the positive reviews about Palm Nails, so made an appointment for today. My appointment was with Maya. She was very professional, and my nails look absolutely beautiful. I love this salon! Emily is my preferred nail stylist and there is not one callous that can remain under her care. She is also very precise with her art, and you walk away with a clean mani/pedi. Super clean salon, implementing plastic bags for pedicure bath basins to reduce fungal contamination and sanitized tools packaged separately for each client. Great pricing for a really great mani and/or pedi experience. It's a fun place to be while you are being pampered and cared for by the owners and the rest of the staff. Laughter in this salon is not uncommon. Very accommodating to walk-in's. I like making appointments, but both times I've come into this salon, I was a walk-in and was seen very quickly after my arrival. I went to Palm Nails in early March 2016. I made an appointment before going. I recommend this as they were busy. The salon was very clean. While I was there I noticed that after customers they cleaned the floor and equipment. I had a tech named Tee. I was really impressed with the fill and the pedicure. This was one of the best nail services I have had. She took time to make sure that my nails looked perfect. The entire staff was very friendly. I will definitely go back when I am in the area. I live right up the street and found this place thru Yelp. What a GREAT place! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My girlfriend and I got pedicures we went in about 6:30, they close at 7. No problem at all they were happy to take us in and there was absolutely no rush to get us out. I went the entire summer last year without pedicures since the price at my regular salon was getting outrageous. This is a brand new salon, beautifully done with the nicest massage chairs and the price....$20 for a pedicure! I really liked this place. Very friendly and fast service. I appreciated that they were honest about wait times and recommended a better time for my appointment so I would not be waiting around. They really seem to honor appointment times which I respect. Prices were a little high, I almost think there was a mistake when I was being charged but it didn't dawn on me until after I left. (I paid $40 for a gel mani, no gel removal and a polish change on my toes.) That's more than a mani/pedi most places! But they are a tad nicer than your typical nail "chop shop". There was some polish left sloppily on my skin when they were done but they cleaned it up when I pointed it out. I am giving 3 stars because I can tell respect their customers and it seems they enjoy what they do. They do a fairly good job. They have tv on which I don't really care about. I'd rather have nice spa music. So that and the price is why I only gave 3 stars but I really did like them, I would return to Palm Nails. read more
