Reccomend by a friend to have my nails redone in the SNS powder. The cost was $30 which was alot cheaper than the places in St. Augustine charging $40-45. Since I was in the area at least once a week, I decided to give a try. Now, the first application was done in NY while I was home for the holidays and it was beautifully done and last a whole month! This time...not so much. The nail technician took over an hour to do it only to have one break 6 days later, another one later that night and then a third one the next day. Even today, 2 weeks later, my nails feel weak instead of strong and it looks like there are cracks on the surface of my nails, which probably means those are about to break, as well. I don't know if it's due to poor technique or poor products either way, I will not be going back. I guess cheaper is not always better. read more

They were out of latex free gloves which my mother needed because she is highly allergic but her girl went down to Publix to purchase some, which was nice. However, I left with several scratches on my foot that weren't there before I arrived. Updated: went back to the location, they were very nice about the situation. Very apologetic and unsure of how it happened. I was given a gift card to use in a future visit. I am new to town and was in search of a place to have my toes done on a regular basis- this will not be the place for me. The pedicurist was rough, paid more attention to anything else but my feet, and I generally felt like a cow being prodded through a cattle shoot the entire time. Instead of speaking to me to ask me to move my feet or legs, she just jammed me into the position she desired. I wanted to relax, but felt more stressed by the end than when I started. And I'm paying $25 plus $5 for the paraffin for this treatment. I'm not sure of the actual quality of the pedicure as of yet, since I'm sitting in the chair still waiting for my toes to dry. Even if it's the best cleaning, exfoliate and polishing of my life, I will not be returning here. Money is precious and I deserve better than the service I received at Palm Nails. read more

I walked in yesterday was happy to be taken immediately for a pedicure and to soak off my nails ,as a nail specialist for 21 yrs I was pleased with there being good air filtration. Called my mom to come in to treat herself to get her nails done. She was placed with a gentleman and given the color palettes by Tiffany I assume. She had to choose her color immediately. My mom is diabetic. He was clipping away . Huge no no . She told Tiffany . I guess she was getting annoyed by my mom (1st time client) . Since she had 30 seconds to pick out the color out , it was too light . Palette pretty much got thrown on table . While my moms nails were being cured he would get up and look and the TV to watch the soccer game ... I was watching all of this in complete awe. When I was done . I asked the gentleman to please fix one nail and he refused. I also asked the young lady that did my manicure if she could fix it and she said no because it already had polish on it. I had an AWFUL experience at this salon. I get my nails done every 3-5 weeks and I went here because I travel to palm coast bi-weekly. It has been ONE week and 3 days since my nails were done with SNS dip and 5/10 of my nails are already broken (starting to break after day 5). The girl who did my pedicure and SNS rushed through the whole thing. She didn't put my nails under any light for the gel polish at the end which most places do. My pedicure was done in 15 minutes. At least my toes still look nicely polished but I definitely wasn't relaxed as she rushed through the process. Why would I pay for SNS if they won't last longer than regular polish?! My first time EVER leaving anything less than a 5 star review, but I want my money back or else nails that won't break within one week. Oh and she didn't cut my cuticles until after I asked her to because In her fast approach she cut into the dead skin of my finger and I had skin hanging off. read more

Whenever I'm in Palm Coast and in need of a pedi, I check out Palm Nails. The location is great, the service is excellent and I'm usually happy with the quality of the pedicure. Palm Nails is a busy nail salon so there may be a short wait but I have never had to wait long. The nail technicians all seem friendly and will engage in conversation if you like or will let you relax silently if that is what you prefer. I got the upgraded pedi once but will just stick with the basic. The upgrade does have a longer massage and a few other goodies but I just didn't think it was worth it. I would recommend Palm Nails if you are in the area. read more

One of the absolute worst nail place I've been to. I remember a while ago they had some people that knew how to do nails but now this place is a dump. I went in for a fill and had to pay $45. My nails are Kind of long and coffin. Usually I pay $33 when I get my nails done. They said it's $15 for a fill $15 for gel polish and $15 for the length. They are a rip off.!! The lady who did my nails was Rosa she was very rough not gentle and rushed to do my nails. She can't paint and I got my nails done 2 days ago and my polish is chipped. She also has no idea on how to shape coffin nails because some are coffin and some are whatever shape she felt like making it I tried to fix it myself but she said she was going to shape it again and it was even worse. This is the worst my nails has looked If I could give the no stars I would because they aren't even worth a 1 Star they need to close down or get people who knows how to do nails.!!! I am extremely upset that I had to give them my hard earned money for the trashy job they did. I will never go back. The owner sits in the first chair when I asked her to explain why it's so much for a fill with no designs she was rude. Horrible business sense. Out of the ordinary, my daughter and I walked in, without an appointment. Instead of telling us they were busy and come back in an hour, they sat us at a pedicure bath. After half an hour, someone came along and filled the bath for a soak and said i"it won't be long". Read reviews and went to palm nails. The place is clean. I asked how long I would have to wait and the head person said 25 min. I told him I would return in 25 and left to run errands. After returning everyone was still busy and other people that signed in after me were taken first. I waited another 25 min with the gentleman telling me a few more minutes. I would give this place zero stars if I could. This is by far the worst nail experience I've ever had, and I've been getting my nails done for at least 10 years. Not only are my nails crooked beyond belief but the paint job is horrendous. In the 10+ years I've been getting my nails done I've never asked for them to redo them but I couldn't bite my tongue this time they were THAT bad. I gave him reference photos and told him exactly what I wanted. What I got was far from it. I told him I want a flower on the ring fingers and the rest to be a mix of yellow and marble. This is what I got. The marble looked horrendous, he asked if I wanted more white or yellow nails and I said yellow and he proceeded to do more white, and then tells me I have to do the flowers on the thumbs bc he can't put it on the ring due to them being yellow. WELL WHY THE EFF WOULD YOU PAINT THE RING FINGERS YELLOW WHEN I ASKED FLR WHITE. When I asked him to remove the color he responded "I'm not taking it off no". EXCUSE ME?! Last time I checked I'm PAYING YOU. not the other way around. Needless to say I will NOT be returning. I've attached picture just so can see how awful these are. I've been coming here since day one however, my experience today was very disappointing. I had an appointment when I walked in the owner asked what I was getting done, I told her SNS. She told me "here sit and soak in acetone, I asked if she can wrap my nails instead of soaking. Rudely told me WAIT for your nail tech, which was okay but, when the next WHITE girl walked in and the owner offered her the service I asked for and was denied I took it personal. My money is the same color as the next person.. palm nails will never see me again I will take my money elsewhere.. Went in to get pedis with my friend today and after being seated and having our feet soaked in cold water for over half an hour, someone finally assisted us. While my friends technician was absolutely wonderful and made sure all her needs were met and she was comfortable, the man that did my pedi rushed through it. He was impolite and inconsiderate about my comfort, as well as cut my feet up from speeding through everything. Barely took time to massage my legs OR feet. And did the same motions repeatedly and nothing else. I'm leaving here feeling WORSE than I did when I arrived. Completely disappointed. That was not a deluxe pedicure. I have visited this salon on 4 occasions. The quality and cleanliness declines on each visit. At first all instruments were wrapped , the stations were all clean. Now, the stations are dirty and they are reusing the instruments. The towels used during the pedicure are dirty. The stations are not cleaned After each client. I went in for a pedicure. I have been here before and always got good service. I did not have an appointment, but simply asked if they have room for me to have a pedicure- no polish- just a pedicure. I was motioned to a chair and a young woman came out and started the water running. I thought she was a helper but it turned out she was going to do my pedicure. She did not tell me her name, she did not ask what I wanted she simply started jerking my feet in and out of the water (no time to soak- no salts to soak in). She quickly cut my nails, kind of filed them, put on cuticle cream- did not rub it in but plopped my feet back in the water. Did not clean under the nails. She did roughly push and clipp the cuticles- made two quick passes on the rough part of my heels, one quick up and down with the scrub, one quick up and down with cream. Wiped off the front of my legs, pulled the plug and walked away. All done. I left with wet legs and feet. Took less than 15 minutes and everyone else who was getting a manicure or pedicure when I arrived was still in their chairs being worked on. I waited at the front desk to pay for several minutes and finally someone came over to take my money. I told them I was not satisfied and they simply shrugged. I have recommended this place and have gone there before but will not ever do so again. read more

Loved Palm Nails in the past I would spend between $150-$220. But unfortunately my last visit I was sat with a New Nail Tech whom was not new to the industry but new to the store. She was very unprofessional. She was joking about drinking before coming to work she kept checking her phone and not respectful for my time. She did a horrible job on my nails she didn't listen to anything that I said.I asked for gel she proceeded to do S&S. Sadly I will never step foot into this establishment again. I visited this nail salon today based on the reviews I saw and was SO disappointed. I went in to get a basic mani/pedi. Starting with the pedicure my toe nails were all cut so so short without ever asking my preference, she didn't file my nails and left them uneven. My big toe on one foot is this weird square shape from her cutting the sides off and my right big toe is diagonally cut. The technician sent me to get my manicure and left my shoes by the pedicure chair. When trying to talk to the technicians, they didn't understand my requests. There was nail polish all over my fingers and toes when she was "finished" and when she finished my manicure, she got up and left, leaving me to carry all my stuff to the drying station with my wet nails. After drying, I had to go find my shoes that were still sitting by the pedicure chair. Biggest waste of money ever. 0/10 would recommend, wish there was a 0 star rating. read more

If I could give them no stars, I would. I went there this morning, had a scheduled appointment forget French tip SNS nails. A young man starts doing my nails and the white on my thumbs is not even at all... he said to wait til he files them... OKAY... then he files them, I explain to him I am still not happy, at which point he gets the manager because apparently he was frustrated with me. So the manager files down my thumb and re-applies the white. I'm aggravated because I'm still not happy. But I pay, I tip (only out of courtesy, although I wasn't given ANY), and I left. I'm not in my car for 5 minutes when I notice how ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE my nails looked (as it's very dark in the shop... probably to hide the horror of bad manicures they provide.) I call the salon and ask for a refund, because I literally CRIED when I realized how AWFUL they were. Uneven, bumpy, poorly filed, just utterly atrocious! They denied me the refund- I said then I wasn't them completely taken off and redone. YET AGAIN the manager does NOT take them off completely- he files them down some and attempts to "fix" them. Which he STILL DID NOT. I tried to show him the polish or whatever he was using is BAD and OLD, because you can SEE all these little speckles in the overlay polish. AND HE TRIES TO TELL ME THATS JUST MY NAILS, EVEN THOUGH ITS OBVIOUSLY NOT. I am APPALLED that a place like that even stays in business between the poor customer service & mediocre nail techs. I'm going to ANOTHER salon to get my nails fixed because I'd rather spend another $50 than have these on my nails! read more
