The Room With A View, Courtyard Ocean View Queen

In the midst of this area- best property in town! Cute, quaint and directly across from beach with tranquil views. We had the entire joint to ourselves - while unique, it was a little freaky when we were the only ones there as Management goes offsite after hours. Check in - seamless. Made to order breakfast - thoughtful & ta-lish! Staff talking amongst themselves over breakfast about prior guests and management wah, wah, wahhh.. unprofessional. Rusted out and broken bikes - unfortunate. Room - a private & nice corner view room - nice! Hot Mineral pool - refreshing! Would I recommend this Flagler Beach property and the room we stayed in - yup.

The White Orchid Inn is a hidden gem on Flagler Beach. I have to admit, I had reservations about staying there, but when we arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The owners have done an amazing job at making this space beautiful and inviting. Our room was clean, cool and restful. The view overlooking the crystal blue pool and gardens was nice as well. The daily breakfast was delicious. I recommend the make your own omelet: spinach, chorizo, tomatoes, feta and cheddar. Yeah, I said it... feta AND cheddar. You'll thank me. During your stay you'll have to make time for a dip in the warm mineral pool. I found it incredibly relaxing for my sore muscles and racing mind. My favorite part of this beautiful space was the quick walk to the beach where I could practice yoga. It was incredibly peaceful.

I can't say enough good things about this place. My mom got my sister and I a spa day for Christmas and have to say it was one of the best gifts ever . We were able to pick to services in our package and I went for the facial and deep tissue massage. The facial was great and left my face feeling smooth and glowing. However, the massage was absolutely amazing. Everything about it was perfect - so good I almost feel asleep I was so relaxed. The pressure was perfect and everything I had mentioned/asked for was addressed. Didn't have have to say one word during the entire massage - everything was just right. I was in a walking comatose start afterwards because I was so relaxed. We didn't have time, but there are two pools - one regular and one mineral you can use. Or the ocean right across the street is a nice option too. :) After our treatments we went the main hotel area and had lunch of curry chicken salad. It was SO GOOD and just right after a day of feeling healthy and clean - the beach view did not hurt either. I have a few family members from out of who have stayed at the hotel and have made repeat visits - so I can guess the hotel accommodations are just as great as the spa and restaurant. Everyone at the White Orchard is so welcoming, wonderful and laid back! It's a nice change pace for anyone coming from the fast pace of the north east.

Beautiful view to enjoy at the homemade breakfast!

The boyfriend and I wanted to spend our 1 year anniversary somewhere unique. We looked for a Bed+Breakfast- we were a little nervous about this type of accommodations as it would be a first for both of us. We read many great reviews and loved the site pictures for the 10-room or so White Orchid. We booked the inn and made our way over. What a wonderful place!! Right on the beach, quaint, quiet, cozy, and the rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, some of them include an in-room jacuzzi. The pools were clean and the heated pool was definitely hot - much better for cooler months, it was a little too warm outside in August to take advantage of it for more than a min or two. The inn offers packages for most typical occasions - romantic, girls weekend, relaxation - including an on site spa with normal massage/facial/wraps services. (We did not use the spa) We spent more time in the mornings and afternoon at the beautiful beach across the street. The area across from the inn is less busy, which was fine with us! You can walk about 5 minutes down to the Flagler beach pier for more interaction if that's what you are looking for. Upon arrival the husband/owner gave us a quick tour around the place - showed us where we could take the beach chairs or bicycles out at our leisure. I absolutely loved coming down for breakfast each morning, prepared fresh to order by the husband+wife duo. The food was delicious! Omelets, french toast, breads, spreads, juices, coffee, and that is a minimal list for the offerings. They also had an afternoon social hour. We are early risers and took advantage of the beautiful mornings walking a few miles down the A1A taking in all the oddities and variety of beach/decor themed houses. Quite interesting to say the least! I cannot say enough good things about how much we enjoyed our stay here! A must do if you're looking for that peace and quiet to spend alone or with a loved one.

Jerk chicken salad that was freshly prepared. It was amazing and filling.

The boyfriend and I came here for a nice spa day and it was absolutely amazing. He's lived in the Palm Coast/Daytona area for years and had no idea it even existed. The staff (Shelly, William, Erica, Debbie, and Jaime) were amazing and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of the entire time. We start with massages, then had a wonderful lunch with an ocean view, and finished with pedicures. We will definitely be back soon.

What a gem of a place. Stayed two nights and did a couples package at the onsite spa. The rooms are nicely done and the spa does a great job pampering. Heated mineral pool right beside the spa and also a regular unheated pool. Homemade breads and quiches for breakfast were excellent, and there was more on the menu. It's a small, intimate place with about 10 rooms. Highly recommend this place for a romantic weekend getaway.

I visited the White Orchid Spa on Friday 1/26/18. I had the Couples Spa package booked. Upon arrival we were greeted and taken care of by everyone we came in contact with! Changed into these great spa robes, had a hot stone 60 min massage which was AMAZING.. truly the most relaxing hour I've ever had! Then enjoyed a great spa lunch overlooking the ocean! The veggie quiche was delicious! The heated mineral pool was great and loved that they brought our champagne pool side for us to enjoy! We ended our visit with spa pedicures and those were amazing as well!! So attentive, so friendly and it truly was a great experience! I will definitely be visiting again! Looking forward to trying more services on their spa menu! I highly recommend them!

We arrived around 9:45 and there was a table open on the deck (which has 4 tables). They also have an inside dining room and a back deck that both looked very nice. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere so we took the open table. Eventually, someone came to ask if we wanted anything to drink and we both ordered coffee (which was very good); however, there was no silverware on the table so AFTER OUR COFFEE ARRIVED we asked for silverware and cream. We waited quite a while for the server to take our order. My wife ordered the Hero Breakfast sandwich ($14.50) and I ordered 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, and a well-done English muffin ($8.00) which was not well done when it finally arrived. We waited for more than 45 minutes for our orders and although the meals were good, it took too long for the meals to arrive. We also noticed that 4 other patrons had not received their orders and when their orders arrived, they too had no silverware or salt and pepper and had to ask for it. The staff was pleasant. The restaurant is pretty but waiting 45 minutes after ordering, is just too long for breakfast and will turn patrons away. They need to be sure that when patrons arrive, they put silverware on the table along with Salt & pepper. And they need to speed up service because taking 45 minutes to serve breakfast is just too long. We arrived at 9;45 and left after 11am. So, if anyone has a lot of time, this restaurant could work for them but unless you want to wait a long time, this may not the place.

This isn't the Ritz Carlton, but I give it five stars because it is a definite must stay in Flagler Beach if you want a room with a view, living room, kitchen, and a separate bedroom. Each room has a different theme: fishing, flamingos, boating, etc. The cottages have porches on the front and even a side door through the kitchen! We love to park right outside the kitchen and it's easy to load and unload our vehicle. They are pet-friendly and when we arrive there are doggie bones on the pillows, so if you have pet allergies... ask in advance for a non-pet option, although I have allergies and the room is kept so clean my allergies really didn't bother me. They have a pool, which is always sparkly clean, but we usually visit in November so it's too cold to take a dip! The walk across A1A to their lookout deck is easy and gives a perfect view of the sunrise in the mornings. Just a few feed south of the deck is a walkway to the beautiful sandy beaches.

While we enjoyed our stay with the dogs -- they are so dog friendly, and even offer sheets to cover the futon in the living room and on the bed -- I don't believe I would stay here without the dogs. Hurricane Matthew really did a thing to the Whale Watch Motel in August 2016, ripping off a roof of one of their cottages as well as the facing of a couple of their buildings. This is unfortunate, and still under repair, but really doesn't account for the insides of the cottages that could use a bit of attention. Simple things need fixing -- no drain plug in bathroom sink, super cheap and broken soap bars (thankfully we brought our own), extremely rusty appliances (I get that the Florida salt damages items easily -- I live here too!), broken handle on the refrigerator, rusty metal shelves in the bathroom and kitchen, missing paint on the walls here and there...it's the little things that could be fixed or replaced while the big items outside (roofs) get some attention. Maybe even some nice landscaping in front of the units could be an easy project that would provide some curb appeal. We LOVE the location of this motel right across from a quiet part of Flagler Beach, but be careful crossing the street. The speed limit is 45, but cars were regularly going 60 and some were passing and weaving in and out. Just be extra careful. Units 9 and 10 face out toward the water, but the bummer is that people kept parking right in front of our building. Unit 9 had a better view than unit 10 for sure, but it was a shame that people would not park in front of their own units. There was no reason for them to park where they did, and block our view. We will stay here again with our dogs because Barry and Patricia are animal lovers and really make it easy on dog families, and with Flagler being a dog-friendly beach, it really is a great location. If traveling just as couples, I'm afraid I need something with a few extra bits of attention. They still get a 4 for their kind nature, clean toilets (!), and location.

From the outset, the resort was misleading about what we were purchasing. We booked what was clearly represented as a golf package. Upon arrival, we were told we did not have access to golf that day. Golf was a primary reason we selected this resort. Clear, accurate representation of packages is not optional at this price point. When a resort markets itself as a premier golf destination, transparency matters. The accommodations did not reflect the luxury image presented online. The villa was outdated and worn, amenities did not function properly (including a broken coffee maker), and we experienced repeated unnecessary disturbances from staff knocking and ringing the doorbell. The condition and service level were inconsistent with what was advertised. Even more troubling was the professionalism of a golf manager during our stay. This individual winked at my minor son in a way that was inappropriate and made both of us uncomfortable. Regardless of intent, that type of interaction with a child is unacceptable in a professional hospitality setting. When I calmly raised concerns about the golf package confusion, the condition of the villa, and the overall experience, management responded with deflection rather than accountability. I was even told I should have given advance notice regarding my son's disability and booked a "disability room." That comment demonstrates a serious lack of training in guest relations and ADA awareness. This is not about minor inconveniences. It is about misleading representations, unprofessional conduct, inadequate accommodations, and a failure of leadership to take responsibility when legitimate concerns are raised. At this price level, guests should not have to push repeatedly to be heard. Transparency, professionalism, and respect -- especially toward families and minors -- should be baseline standards. Corporate leadership should take a close look at how packages are marketed, how villas are maintained, and how staff are trained. What we experienced fell significantly short of what is promised.
