This place is a FIND! Dr. Rajan is so awesome. He seriously takes the time to meet and BE with your pet, and remains in communication with you regarding the well-being of your pet. Marina is also fab, as are the rest of the staff. I took my pet for a spay. Easy check-in, drop-off (I felt fully confident in the vet and staff as they showed only concern and care for my pet), and easy pick up. Marina gives you the full instructions on post care. This is the second time I take one of my pets here for a spay, and it'll always be my go-to. Reasonable fees for the service, almost unnoticeable incision of the spay, tremendous and caring staff. I was referred to this clinic by a friend of mine who is a veterinarian technologist. She said great things about the veterinarians who work here. I called weeks ahead of time to see how the process of payment works and what the costs are for services. The staff was really nice on the phone at the time of my initial questions. I bring my dogs in today and arrive at around 9:20a to sign in and wait to be called back. In total I was at the clinic for about three hours, but I understand how hospitals and clinics work. The veterinarian was great and I appreciated his kindness to my dogs. The veterinarian technologist who was assisting with my dogs was nice as well. I could also hear when they would take my dogs to the back for vaccines and blood work and the staff was very nice to them. My one star rating is due to the front desk staff. I had a question regarding payment and she was very rude and snappy with me over the phone after I left the facility. I'm really disappointed because I was referred here and the staff member is the reason I would not recommend this location to anyone. I had high hopes for this place and I'm so disappointed. Sorry, when I bring my 9 week old puppy in for his 2nd round of boosters and a staff member does not know that you're not supposed to put him down ANYWHERE NEAR the building, much less in the grass, so he can go pee, then I'm out of there. It's a doctor's office for pets. That means sick pets visit all the time. No way am I handing my pup to you not knowing what else your staff does not know, and especially during these times where I have to sit there in the car while the staff handles my pup. For anyone reading this, if you haven't had your pup's third round of boosters yet, you shouldn't even wear the same shoes you wore around the vet building and its parking lot and then walk back into your home with your pup. Take off the shoes outside and clean them later. Most of you are brainwashed into thinking that reducing oxygen to yourself by wearing a pointless cotton mask will somehow stop the VIRUS but when it comes to real things you don't bother. Amazing! But please DO NOT listen to me or the so called experts who are too young to have any real experience. Listen to Dr. Ian Dunbar for example and many other experts out there who will strongly advise you to educate yourselves, interview your vet, never assume someone knows something simply because they have on a uniform and never ever put down your unvaccinated pup for a pee and a sniff anywhere near other dogs or where they have gone to, especially a center where mostly the sick ones visit. read more

I hope that no one is in the dire situation of needing an emergency surgery for their pet, but if you are please do yourself a favor and see Dr. Rajan at Palm to Paws. My toy breed dog required emergency surgery to remove foreign bodies stuck in the stomach and small intestines. Dr. Rajan thoroughly explained the surgery, risks and possible complications. Payment was due upfront, but was significantly less (1/8) than the estimate I was quoted at a 24 hour emergency clinic. Though the 24 hour full service clinic I visited before Palm to Paws is a reputable establishment I just could not afford a $4,000.00 procedure; Palm to Paws made this whole situation easier with Dr. Rajan's incredibly good bed side manner and affordability of service. This is a 'mom and pop' vet to be sure. They operate off of an old MacBook air. They were training a new employee who sent me home after my neuter without the dog meds, so I had to double back later on. However, the actual neuter seems to have been a complete home run. My dog never showed any signs that the surgery actually took place. Couldn't be less bothered. We are 4 days out and the surgery site is nearly completely healed. I would recommend some business improvements but the actual medical practice gets 10/10 from my experience. read more

Appointment screwed up for a neuter surgery - this morning, I was there, left message but I had to call to see what happened. Rescheduled to waste more of my time. Update about actual service later if any. Returned with kitten in tow, he had the surgery. The door opened at 9am, the male doctor was very engaged with each pet and spent time to hear the history. He was caring and friendly. Overall, I was happy - but this should have been last week. This is a great place. They say me and my dog without having an appointment. The nurse who was in charge with my dog was very attentive and amazing, I wish I would have caught her name because she was really great. My only small negative comment was the wait time. We waited for two hours to be seen but once my dog was inside the process took around 30 mins. The price you pay doesn't compare to the service. My dog had a yeast infection in his ears, got his ears cleaned, got antibiotics, and medicine, and his rabies shot and the total came out to $100. I feel like for everything that got done, the price can't be beat. I do recommend this place, they are taking precautions to COVID and are still trying to please clients. Today was our first visit and we were treated so well. We did a walk-in visit on Saturday for a wellness exam. The receptionist said she didn't want my cat stressed out and we were able to wait in an exam room. My cat instantly felt better and even started to fall asleep where in the waiting room he was on high alert and balled up in his crate because of all the barking dogs. The doctor and nurse were incredibly friendly and sweet to my Smoky. They put both of us at ease and asked simple questions. They showed me how to apply ointment in his eyes and gave me tips if he becomes difficult. It was honestly a great experience. They promise to call in 10 days when his medication is done to see how he's doing. All in all with the visit and medication it only cost $60. We didn't wait very long to be seen even though we were told it was an hour wait. I am very grateful they took us in even though they were all very busy today. Thank you to the staff for being so nice! I will definitely be back. The only con I have is I'm still not sure of the walk in hours. The door says wellness check hours 8:30-2 but on a chart inside it says 11-2. I came just before 11 and was out of the door at 12:30ish. read more

I will always be grateful to Dr. Rajan for saving my kitten's life and mine. I was desperate and finding this clinic and Dr. Rajan was a true miracle. I found my two babies the day they were born. Their mom abandoned them, they were unclean and with the umbilical cord still attached, she gave birth to five kittens. Unfortunately three died but the two kittens that survived have been with me since. I noticed the boy had trouble breathing and made weird noises i took him to the Economy Vet Clinic and the vet told me he was too young for antibiotic, when he was old enough the dr gave him antibiotics for a URI however he was still having problems I took him again after the antibiotics and dr gave me a different medicine told me to wait a month and if no improvement he was going to do some X-rays. After a month I took him to a different clinic Houston Humane Society to get him neutered and check his breathing. The Vet there came back with the X-rays and told me to put him to sleep, he was born with a Diaphragmatic Hernia and basically his stomach was in his lungs. She told me he was not going to survive surgery but I refuse to put him to sleep. She told me to take him to a specialist. I talked to probably 4 different hospitals and many clinics. I was told surgery was going to cost between 5-10k and there was a very small chance he will even survive. One day while reading a review from a different clinic I read about Palm to paws, the lady was referred to this clinic and she talked great about it so I gave it a try. I called around 9 am and the girl that answered told me to bring my baby around 11. As soon as I walked inside I felt something, like a relief. All the girls were so extremely nice and sweet I can not even explain how beautiful and soothing the vibe in this clinic. Dr. Rajan checked his X-rays and explained his condition and his options. He was straight forward, knowledgeable, compassionate and honest. He told me that most likely my baby was not going to make it but ensured me he was going to do everything possible to save him and fix his condition. And he did, in the middle of the surgery he called me to give me an update and things were not looking great but he was going to do everything possible to safe him. It was a complicated and long surgery. Dr. Rajan didn't do everything possible he did the impossible, he saved him and the surgery was a success. Till this day I don't know how he made it possible, my 4 month old kitten still alive and recuperating. The girls there were so compassionate they treated me and my baby like we were family. I think Dr. Rajan is an angel, they feed the street cats, he fixes them, gives them their shots it's unbelievable. His prices are extremely affordable. He charged close to nothing compared to the thousands other hospitals and clinics wanted to charge me. I will never forget how the Dr. called me at 7 am the day after surgery to make sure Leo was still alive and doing ok. I will never be able to pay him for what he did. I love my kittens so much it's crazy and was seriously depressed and desperate, like I said Dr. Rajan gave me back my peace, my smile and my baby. I can go on and on. I struck gold when I came across Palm to Paws! I finally found a knowledgeable vet that has reasonable prices! Being a first time bunny owner I didn't really know what to expect when it comes to bunny neutering/spaying. I heard from other bunny owners that rabbits do not take anesthesia well. When I came in for the pre-surgery exam Dr. Rajan addressed my worries. He helped me determine the gender of my bunny and eased my concerns about the anesthesia. He explained the common misconceptions about rabbits being on anesthesia. When I left my little bunnies I knew they were in good hands. The day after surgery I received a follow up call checkin to see how my baby is doing and to see if I had any concerns. They address any concerns and will advise based on the concern. One of my little guys was chewing around his incisions and caused some self inflicted bleeding. They had me bring my sweet boy in to be checked. Dr. Rajan treated him with such care! Took my dog Bailey into Palm to Paws veterinary clinic to be neutered. I am very happy with the whole process and the entire staff was amazing. The Dr. himself called and let me know the surgery had gone great and that he would be in recovery about an hour. The staff called and let me know I could come pick my baby up. They were very informative about the aftercare and even showed me his scar. They were so great , I'm taking my other baby in for a dental cleaning next month. This is a low cost clinic, but the service is 5 star. The surgery was $75.00 for the neuter, but I also had him microchipped. This place is awesome. When I found out my cat's left eye needed to be removed due to many factors for her health in that eye, I called so many different places. Every vet told me the surgery would be atleast 1,000$ and I just don't have that kind of money and she needed the eye removed so I called many different places and I looked up low cost vet and this one had very good reviews. Came on a Sunday afternoon as a walk-in... The wait was long which was understandable because i didn't want to pay for an emergency visit elsewhere. The vet seemed confident & clear about what his specialty was at this clinic & also clearly explained the steps we needed to take to treat my baby. The office visit fee was reasonable for a weekend trip plus they provided the meds without you having to go to a pharmacy to fill the script. (But also a minus because you won't know what to expect on your bill) also, the staff was friendly and the clinic was clean and not smelly so I can't ask for more than that. read more

Took my dog here because he had been limping but miraculously he stopped limping once we were in the exam room (I swear he was limping that morning!) Vet still saw him of course and was not very welcoming. He told me my dog has cataracts, which I already know. Then he told me that they don't treat chronic conditions, they're not a full service vet clinic, they do mostly surgeries and that I need to go to my normal vet for treatment. He could have sounded a little more caring and understanding. I know you are busy and have many other animals to look at but I felt like I was getting shoved out. Thanks for not charging me for the visit I guess? I visited my regular vet a few days later for a refill on dry eye meds and a recommendation for another med, which I guess is something this vet here can't help with. Most everyone else that's been to this clinic seems to have had positive experiences here so it is what it is. Get here early!! I was the second person in line at 10:35 on a Sunday and wasn't seen by the vet till 12:30. Heck, the first person in line wasn't even seen first. My personal vet offered the same exact thing for $950 this place is my absolute go to for dental canine work. I was delighted with the vet care and price of services for my cat when I went the the clinic the first time. HOWEVER, I was seriously disappointed today when I tried to take my other cat to the clinic. I had called ahead to make sure there was room for us but there was no answer from the voice mail or office. So I went to the clinic thinking they must just be busy at that moment. When I arrived,I was told that other people had said the phones didn't always work and when I suggested they contact the phone company, I was told that the phones were working for other people. Long story short, be sure to call ahead and find out whether there is space for your pet. Otherwise, your pet will go without vet care like mine did and you will spend your afternoon frantically searching for another vet. read more

Dr. Rajan is a God send! We recently had to take my little Shihtzu, Chini, because she got into a really bad fight with her housemate. My poor baby was bleeding like crazy from her mouth and it turned out her bottom lip was completely detached. After going to another vet (NHVS-Spring) we were told that the only way to save her was a $2,000 surgery. That combined with the overnight stay to stabilize her cost $2,700!! I love my pets but that is just something I can in no way afford. We began looking for a more affordable alternative. Our regular vet put us in contact with this clinic. We brought Chini in to see Dr. Rajan for a consultation and were quoted only $500! He even contacted other surgeons to make sure he was doing the procedure correctly as he hadn't attempted it before. This Doctor and his staff have gone out of their ways to make sure Chini was not only safe, but comfortable and happy. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic!!!!
