Just got take out. Service was quick place was clean. The subs were a reasonable price. We got a roast beef and turkey, ham and bologna sub. Dill pickles on the side. My food was still intact when I got home and tasty. read more

This place used to be amazing. While the subs are still good the service is absolutely the WORSE EVER. All the employees hate waiting on people. I ordered a combo, and the self-service drink machine wasn't working. I asked nicely if they could please fill my cup using the drink machine behind their counter and no response. NONE! I walked out without a drink for my combo. I have put up with their horrible service/attitudes in the past but never again. This was our go to sun place for along time, then they switched owners. During the pandemic it began to go downhill between quality and employees. There have been many bad reviews posted locally about this particular store. Between bad customer service, unclean conditions..employees not using PPE, and just quality, I would not eat here ever again. There are better sub stores in town. read more

The sandwiches are great, but the service is AWFUL. I called them at 5:43, and after a brief hold, the worker took my order. My wife goes to pick them up around 6:00. After sitting in the drive thru line (where they also apparently take orders) for an HOUR, the girl at the window told her "Oh, that order has already gone out." Well, it shouldn't have. And, I'm not sure how it did because I'm 30 miles away. After a little more back and forth, the girl said she'd make her two more sandwiches, which took another 30 MINUTES. At least the girl on the phone was polite and not like the last time where she acted like she was doing me a favor by even answering. read more

Visited this location and upon walking in, the employees ignored me. I waited for about 10 minutes and the cashier asked what I wanted.I told her and started to tell her toppings I wanted and she stopped me and said "tell them". The only "them" were hiding in the back room laughing loudly and acting as if they were at a party. Apparently, no manager was on duty. While waiting for them to come out and do their job, this gave me time to look around and the place was filthy and meat counter had flies inside, as the sliding door was left open. I had not yet paid and turned around and walked out. Someone yelled at me, but I had to get out of that NASTY place. This is what happens when you let kids run your business. I have used yelp for the very last time. This was the worst joint I have ever had the unluckiest fortune to step into. Why in the world did I drive off the interstate for 10 miles out of my way to eat a sandwich here. Oh yeah. Because yelp gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Yelp you suck. That's it you totally suck. I was there today 9/1/21 around 3pm. I went in and the first thing the lady said was too wait. It took 3 people to finish 1 man's order... of 1 sub. I asked if they had a to go menu to look at because their digital menu was hard to read because it would go out then on again. The lady said read the menu on the wall. Again, it was hard to read. I ordered a sub and one called the palmetto sub. I tried to read what went on the sub and ask questions, but the lady said tell them (the ones preparing). I paid, and walked down. The men had no clue what was on their specialty sub and had to keep looking at the menu to figure it out. When i asked what went on the subs, the man showed me a salad menu and said it was in the salads it was on the subs. The lady went to the back and came back to where the my food was being prepared, vape smoking. I was shocked. At that point i just wanted out of that place. I was too scared to ask for my money back. Any way, the palmetto sub was prepared correctly even though they were out of a lot ingredients, however the second one was all wrong. The owners need to come in and see how their business is handled. I swear I will never return. read more

First time at Palmetto subs . The staff was friendly we got their garden salad all the way . It was different then I ever had but tasty. The subs look very nice , they were super busy . The restaurant is net very clean , different from busy dirty, it needs a good old fashioned deep cleaning . It's a shame because I have only heard great things . GREAT SERVICE and excellent subs! Quad (shift manager), Meyshia, and Kenny made us a great Palmetto mushroom cheesesteak and an awesome Italiano sub...and they had us on our way in 10 minutes. This is my all time favorite place to eat - Number 19 with extra oil and vinegar, banana peppers and pickles on the side - nothing better!!!!! My husband and I have been eating there for years. We my family and I went there Thursday 6/23/22 and ordered our subs went home ate the subs my son was the first one to throw up,diarrhea,headaches,chills for 3 days then daughter she ate maybe two small pieces 3 hrs later she to had the same thing happened to.so I called back there and they told me there's no way there subs made us sick because it never happened before.i said that was the only thing we ate that day and we spent $35.00 for these subs and ended up on the toilet for 3 days.the Manager said take it up with corporate or get a lawyer.i said over $35.00 really I just wanted my money back manager said well you ate the subs so there is nothing they can do.i said ok fine just never coming back there again.the thing is it was 3 teenage boys there that day so how would they know what happened. Better than sub way! Number 19 all day. They cut the meat right in front of you. It always fresh. You may have a longer wait because every time I come it's always full of people. The subs seem thicker than subways and a little better all around. Great sub shop. read more
