Staff is truthful and honest. For instance, someone dropped their drink and they remade it with no problem whatsoever. It's hard to find a coffee place like that. I find that to be a reason to return as accidents do happen and some coffee places will charge you again for an accident. Some of the food items can appear high in price but other than that, they were good.

We both ended up ordering their wedding cake latte, that we later found out that changes colors based on whatever wedding they are hosting in the hotel they are located in. HOW COOL! The latte was FANTASTIC! I love when a coffee shop serves it in glass when you are deciding to sit for a bit! It felt so welcoming! I also decided to order their pound cake which was FANTASTIC! SO moist and perfect with my latte! However, the true star of the show has to be the ambiance! It's located in downtown in the Adolphus hotel and it is STUNNING inside! You truly get a city coffee shop experience at OTTO's! They had plenty of chairs and tables, as well as plugs! Which made our visit that much more great! (Ample portions) I went with some friends from work... Had breakfast here and it was good. Their omelets are really good with just the right amount of cheese and meat. I'm a grits lover and it's hard to get them right but they always do. It is everything you want in a small town family restaurant with Texas character. Wait staff is very friendly and make you feel right at home, yet they are fast and professional. Food is always delicious; it's the next best thing to a real, home-cooked family dinner. Portions are ample and the prices are reasonable -- especially for the quality. I will come always. read more

My friend and I first tried Palmieris pastries about 3 years ago at the Farmers Market. We always knew that the owner will be very successful as these pastries are sooo goood and he is the one making them, making sure they are perfect. The new Palmieri place inside the Market is very elegant and the staff is friendly. I know that I cant go there after 2 pm on the weekends as my favorite pastries are usually gone by then (the ones with the yellow cream that look a little bit like cannolis). I'm in town for the weekend and this hidden gem was the best way to start my Saturday! The espresso is the smoothest I've had since my trip to Nice, France. The cashier was so sweet and knowledgeable about each drink on the menu. This cafe is hidden inside the Farmer's Market so I drove past it the first time but it's not hard to find if you're walking to it from the street! read more
