Our favorite casino is where we visit with family and friends. Tip: If you play at the casino at Yaamava in Highland, CA, your hotel rooms, meals, and free play at the Palms in Las Vegas will be comped if and when you accumulate enough rewards points, as the same company owns both casinos. The Palms in Las Vegas is a very popular and fun resort and casino. The place is HUGE as it offers visitors a food court (McDonald's, Panda Express, Coffee Bean, and several others), a huge buffet restaurant, a noodle bar, and several other restaurants, a gym, a pool, a spa, a large concert venue, a large movie theatre, and so much more. The rooms here are very comfortable, clean, and roomy. Employees are very friendly, welcoming, and professional. The slot machines are very user-friendly, and there are many table games and slot machines to play. Security can be seen throughout the entire property, so guests are safe 24/7 This is a great location for a quick visit or a fun vacation.

So much fun to enjoy an evening , a day or a staycation. The Palms has so much to offer locals and tourists. They have a great line up continuously of entertainment as well as there Amazing Movie theater. They also are one of the last casinos in Vegas with an award winning Buffet along with many other grand restaurants. There pools are fantastic with the ability to rent cabanas as well. The Palms also has top notch service that's one of the reasons I like going there as well. Definitely my locals casino.

If you're going to go off strip, The Palms is definitely a great stop. From the gorgeous pool to the lights and sounds of the casino floor, it's so fun. We came just to hang by the pool, which is spacious, and more unique than others I've seen. the security people were the only downside, very rude and semi aggressive. We stayed in a cabana which is very comfortable and keeps you close to the water. The slots weren't to me, but hey, they never are. Super cute photo ops inside and out.

The room was very clean a huge. They had a usable fridge was is always a massive plus for me. The bed itself was really comfortable but the pillows were awful and impossible to sleep on. We had an issue with our fridge and they brought us an entirely new fridge. They also found some medication that I forgot in the room and turned it in so I was able to get it back the next day. Top notch customer service.

I enjoyed visiting the Palms Casino. There were lots of people here. The best part was the All You Can Eat buffet here. My parents and I went during dinnertime and enjoyed a lot of great food!

Even though it is away from the Las Vegas Strip, you get all of Las Vegas in this one spot. There are numerous machines and tables to gamble at in addition to so many food options. Parking is free so that's a plus. The Pearl Theater is such an amazing concert/sports venue.

This was my first time to the Palms pool and I was mostly impressed. It is smaller but with the private cabanas, many having their own small pools, it didn't feel overly crowded. The food was good, brought over fresh and hot so we could relax and enjoy and there was a television in the cabana for those watching sports that day. The drinks were ok, not my favorite as they were slightly watered down but that can be expected from a casino most of the time. What I loved most was the pool. The water was the perfect temperature and depth. I could float or swim but easily stand when needed and it was warm enough to be comfortable while cool enough to be refreshing.

This was how close the bed was to the ground. If you untucked the sheet, the sheet would hit the ground.

I just stayed here last week and although my rooms were comped for being an avid gambler in their California casino, I still had to pay $143 in resort fees in a pool I never went in because it was overly crowded with people and filthy. When I arrived to check in my room was not ready. The front desk clerk said they would text me when it was. Once it was ready about 30 minutes after that I had to get back in the staggering long line and wait all over again to get my room. Once I went into my room, I noticed it was not cleaned as I started walking around. It was getting worse by the second. I called the front desk and told them the room was not cleaned properly so they sent someone up to clean it again, but that took over an hour for them to arrive. We had dinner reservations at Tim ho wan that we were trying to get ready and get to we almost did not make our reservation time. The shower had hair in it and chunks of orange in the sink as well. The carpet wasn't vacuumed at all. There were chips, feathers crumbs, and hair everywhere. The room itself was very hot. It did come with a refrigerator, but no wet bar and no microwave even though I don't use microwaves so that was fine with me. The beds were practically on the ground. They were so worn and warped. Once you untucked the sheet, it would hit the ground. It had a chair to sit in, and that chair was warped. When I opened up the ironing board I couldn't get the ironing board to ever go back down so it stayed open the entire duration I was there. Arthur, the cleaning guy came back up and cleaned our room, but the cleaning supervisor came in before that and said she says it's not clean instead of visually looking at everything that I told him I had noticed and making a clear decision that it wasn't. I did not care for that at all. Thought it was extremely rude. I don't know what his name was but he was a cleaning supervisor and he had glasses, older Hispanic man. As the night went on, we could not get a bedside lamp to turn off and it was about to fall off of the bed frame, so another gentleman had to come in and fix that at around midnight. I also did not get his name, but it was very friendly and I really appreciate it because otherwise I would've had to go to sleep with the light on in my face. The air conditioner just stopped working. It was going up by the hour into the 70s. We had it set at 62 the entire time it never got that low. They advised us to keep our drops closed, which was fine except for in the morning when you wanted to have a little bit of sunlight. It got so hot in there that they actually had to take the unit apart one day that we were gone and they said they replaced it. Paul was our service provider at that time and he was great. When we came back, it was a little bit cooler. It did get down to 69. The beds, even though they were almost on the ground were surprisingly comfortable. My best friend snored like a bear and hibernation so clearly she had a great night sleep. I also liked the large TV and the shower was nice. It also had a separate water closet for the toilet, which I appreciated. Other than that, I don't advise anyone to stay here. It's very surprisingly shocking to me because the Yaamava hotel and casino is very clean. Also keep in mind they are still smoking throughout the casino so it stinks very bad and when you go out into the casino floor, you're going to stink. Luz was our cleaning lady throughout the week and she was awesome. Every time we saw her she gave us what we needed and we always gave her a little gratuity. She was the best part of this room experience.

Very decent stay for a short trip in Vegas. Nice pool but relatively small but I did appreciate the 21+ area. Ample bars and slot machines. The room is ok, terrible design of sink knobs (they don't start and stop, trust me IYKYK). room service is crazy expensive but really huge portion sizes. got an omelette and Caesar salad. omelette was good but salad was disappointing as the chicken came separately in a plastic container. still good hotel, clean and modern for 2 nights.

We had not been to the Palms Casino in several years so we decided to make a visit on our last trip to Las Vegas. I was pleasantly surprised how updated the casino seemed to be. I'm not sure if they've had a recent renovation, but it looked like it to me. It was clean, I like the atmosphere and we really enjoyed gambling there. We didn't check out any other part of the hotel but did like the casino.

The staff throughout the resort were amazing, and although the pool was a bit crowded, it was kept very clean. While we had a wonderful time, there were some lapses in room service that need improvement. Unfortunately, our room was not thoroughly cleaned during our stay: the table was not cleared after our room service meal, there was some trash left on the floor, and the bathtub had not been properly scrubbed. It's located in the TRULY seedy Downtown Fremont Street section, and believe me, it earns that reputation. Any hour of the day or night, if you walk outside, you'll see hobos, beggars for money and types that makes security questionable. Police presence ALL over the place, even at 7am. Unpleasant. As for the hotel, it's 21 only, that's nice. They check ID every time and every door, also nice, although for guests I think they could come up with a better way. Had a Stadium Swim Corner room. It was nice, decent, far from spectacular. The views, nice for sure, but the bathroom and shower, extremely slippery floors and no mats to protect, very dangerous. Standard in most ways, furnishings plain, nothing great. Bed fine not spectacular. Air conditioning, the worst!! I get this same type of poor air conditioner at 30 + year old Strip hotel, not the speak of this 4 year old resort. Are they nuts. It was 113 when I was there, the room never got below 70 and even so it took 5-6 hrs after arrival before it even reached that level. Embarrassing. Check in, was fine, quick, the elevators to the rooms, I loved and the use of the card to gain access felt safe, secure and modern. Casino pretty standard, spread out over 2 floors, generally clean and modern, good selection, payouts lousy. At the table games on the first floor, girls scantily clad dancing on tables all around. Hmm. Well it's a 21 plus only, so I guess so. Although are they a casino or a strip club? One has to wonder. Hey, I'm not a prude, but let's be serious here, what are they actually selling? Mega Bar is huge, but the servers need help. Not overly pleasant, and worst yet, as I was playing there machines, I got CHARGED for a drink. Later to be told by a delightful cocktail server, it would have been free, hmm. Overcharging! Sleeping was just OK. Sports book is great, I must say, probably the best in Vegas, so if that's your thing, you might love it here. 2 floors high, huge screen, nice. Just stay inside, don't venture to the trash zone right outside the front door, where I got asked for $$$ right at the door!! Stadium Swim is a huge and well designed pool, however, there is ZERO shade, not a bit unless you pay for a Cabana, and as I walked around it, in 113 degree weather with no shade, it was hotter than imaginable. It is impressive I must say, but there are equally good pools in Vegas. One great thing, a server who worked 2-10am on the 2nd floor, she was awesome, the best part of my stay!! Can't praise her enough. They also charge for parking, even to hotel guests, $25 per day!! Wynn gives free parking to guests!! Is Circa nuts? Circa wants to poise itself as a 5 star luxury resort. NOT A CHANCE!! Don't listen to the You Tubers who are paid off, given free everything or sponsorship. This is NOT a 5 star resort, nothing here earns that. It has some benefits for sure. It needs improvement. Doubtful I'll ever be back, I can't see many reasons. From the average room, the rip off at the Bar, the lousy area it resides in, the questionable service from some, and just general indifference, (see my Legacy Club review for more disappointment) this isn't there place to be. If you're spending this type of $$$, check out the Strip Hotels...you can def find better pricing and more amenities there, and BETTER air conditioning. The Wynn as an example, the only 5 Star Resort, the air conditioner worked every second, and the room was constantly cool or cold, and it never failed once, and took seconds to start!! That's 5 star luxury, and it was cheaper than Circa!! Amazing. First time, last time. This may be the newest kid in old and seedy Downtown but it just doesn't live up to expectations. I'm actually disappointed I wasted my 2 days there, it wasn't worth it. But now I know for future. There won't be a return.

I understand there is a need for a second tower and more parking space but the garage sucks. For starters, the first floor is just valet. It makes it hard with my mom who uses a mobility scooter to get into elevators. Also, they put the good parking spots behind a pay wall so you have to walk quite a bit to get onto the elevators no matter what. The thing that bothered me the most is that they got rid of what made Durango so gorgeous and unique, which is the fact that it had a lot of natural light coming in through both types of the Casino's giant glass doors, now all of that is sealed off, making it look like a warehouse. Obviously nothing to be done anymore, but a completely different feel

While we were here this time we indulged in some ice cream and really enjoyed the hand made ice cream. It really tasted handmade with bits of real strawberries in it. Last time we were here it was a special occasion and we went all out. We walked all though the strip just to get here to ride the gondola. Boy was that fun. No, it wasn't the same as the ones in Venice (I know because I've been in Venice and ridden one of their gondolas), but you know that going in. You're in Vegas so I didn't expect the same thing. I was looking forward to the Vegas version of this classic ride and I got it. Was it over priced? Yes. At the same time you get what you pay for. A fun ride around the camels in the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. There was supposed to be an photographer taking our picture so we can buy at the end, but his camera malfunctioned so we didn't get the shot. This was a huge disappointment as I'm all about pictures and I really wanted the opportunity to see the glamorous shot the professional photographer took and if it captured the. Moment like i had I would have bought it. Fortunately we weren't totally relaying on him. We brought our own camera and took the perfect shot with the gondolier in the background and the bridge when you come out. It was perfect. You didn't have all the busyness of Vegas in the background. I'm overly thrilled with my photo, I got exactly what I paid for a fun ride and the perfect shot to frame and remember this day. And yes, I really did frame it and it sits on my piano. As long as you know what you're paying for, it's totally worth it. And now that you've seen my shot and know that it's taken at the end of the ride when you come out from under the bridge, you can get the same shot too. Have fun and enjoy Vegas and the Venetian. Maybe even walk around the quaint streets and have some ice cream after your ride.

For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. I always leave here feeling great!

We optioned for the only rooms left 2 queen beds. Disappointing. When we finally got a room, after going back to the front desk, another person told us that the rooms WERE ready; however, there was still no king bed. He said he would comp our self-parking. (I rolled my eyes privately) (jump ahead......did NOT work when we drove out of parking to 40.00.). Restaurants were wonderful. All the services there were very good. LOUD. Really LOUD throughout the hotel. Food was wonderful, but yelling to speak to table guests. If you want to be in a nightclub for 24 hours, this is your place. We stayed here the end of July for 4 nights. The vibe of this hotel are just so Las Vegas. You really have everything you need in the building or within walking distance. If you are doing a weekend trip to Vegas and don't have a car, this is probably the spot for you. You can walk to many places on the strip from this hotel. As for the hotel itself...the casino is great. It's very spread out in my opinion. I didn't too much gambling, but I did do a lot of eating! And this place does not lack on the food variety. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and late night dinner...they have it all. The room...Most of the rooms have a terrace balcony. Which is rare in Las Vegas. We had a fountain view of the Bellagio, but I imagine the views from the other side are just a good. The rooms are clean and very spacious. And the bed! Wow that was comfortable. We did order room service one night and not only was the service fast, but the food was amazing! And the portion size was very generous. I absolutely loved this place and we have already booked our stay again for next Summer!
