Clump of hair from previous guest left on the shower shelf.

This is my first time staying at this hotel and I booked a 1 bedroom suite. The room they gave us needed a lot of updates and fixing. A few things were broken... lamp, curtain, and sink/shower knobs. The door to the main bathroom wouldn't close and would stop half way. The TV remote doesn't turn on the TV, I had to walk up to the TV to turn on the TV for both the living room and bedroom. I noticed a cigarette burn on the sofa. The AC was weird and even though we change the temperature it was still freezing cold. The shower was not cleaned. I walked into the shower and noticed a clump of hair on the shelf and a strand of hair on the wall and floor as I was about to shower. Definitely not my hair and I didn't even wash my hair. Called front desk and spoke to the manager Joseph about it. I appreciate he took care of the issue and refunded the resort fee and did a courtesy late check out for the issues. He had house keeping come clean the bathroom but they didn't even clean it. Again next day I went into the shower and they missed a strand of hair on the wall between the shampoo and body wash bottles. Elevators were slow and at one point only 1 elevator was working. Also, beware the guys who help with the luggage stated they charge $10 to bring up groceries as they only do luggage. Never heard of this at any hotels that had a kitchen. I was too tired from the drive and just paid it. Nice hotel, but needs a lot of updating.

The property was very impressive. Upon entering, there were very few people (I got there on a Thursday morning), and check in was typical. I loved that I got a free buffet ticket each day. However, they should give at least 2 - if you come with your significant other, only 1 gets to eat for free. I think that's fair. The buffet was really good. Too bad I don't eat crab, but it seemed likea lot of people enjoyed it. The bottomless mimosas are a fantastic touch. The room was really nice. I didn't have a strip view. But, I didn't care. I did have a couple of issues: the TV in the bedroom didn't work; there seemed to be limited light in the living area; the ice maker didn't turn on; and the pool was closed. The shower was a highlight. Dual showerheads front and back, as well as a rain forest showerhead from the ceiling. Too bad I couldn't get all 3 going at once. I liked that I had to walk a good bit to get to the Palms. I am in a walking competition, and the extra steps helped. Lol. The security seemed out of place. Are there that many people trying to get into the place? The Ghost Bar was an experience. Unfortunately, it was only about half full as Vegas is having fewer visitors. And, the drinks were a bit pricey. But, that's on par for Vegas now it seems. Overall, I enjoyed the hotel and the stay. I will definitely be back.

Spit wads on ceiling above the bed

This property, specifically Room 310 on the 30th floor at Palms Place, is an outright scam from start to finish. I booked this room back in November and was charged immediately, despite our stay not being until January. That should have been the first red flag. Upon arrival, we were then hit with a $150 "cleaning fee" that was never disclosed upfront. Paying an undisclosed fee just to access a room that was supposedly "clean" is insulting -- especially considering what we walked into. The room was filthy. And I don't mean lightly used -- I mean dirty, neglected, and clearly not maintained. This room advertises fully working amenities. That is completely false: * The bathtub had no running water * The microwave did not work * The kitchen was not operational, despite us specifically booking this room for a 4-day stay so we could cook and eat in We were there for four days, stuck with a kitchen that didn't function at all. The issues didn't stop there: * The room smelled musty and stale * The floors were filthy, with painters tape still stuck down holding tiles together * The bed frame was disgusting -- scratched up and worn * There were literal spit wads stuck to the ceiling, clearly left by previous guests (children, most likely), and never cleaned * The bathroom sinks barely drained This place is not just poorly managed -- it's deceptive. We attempted multiple times to contact the property owner to resolve these very real issues. Their response? A laughable offer of 20% off a future booking. That is an absolute joke. We would never stay here again under any circumstances. Charging hidden fees, misrepresenting amenities, and renting out a room in this condition is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor: DO NOT book Room 310 on the 30th floor at Palms Place. Save your money, your time, and your sanity. This place is a scam dressed up as a luxury stay.

Always wanted to stay here so I checked it out for a staycation. Staff was great, security was great and the room was amazing. Place was clean and very spacious and right next to the casino. Views from the balcony were amazing! Would definitely stay here again!

4/11/2024- Nice accommodations and the price is very reasonable. Noticed a lot of families checking in:. Always plenty of parking and free parking at that.. Although we prefer to stay on the outskirts of town... Hung out with my son and enjoyed the large room with the kitchenette.. fridge and freezer.. Very modern and top notch view..

    the dirty windows

the service was sub par nd the room was juss tore up. we couldn't see out of the window the bed had bin more than sat on the bathroom sink was clogged the walls nd counters were covered in a layer of rag lint the speakers were dangling nd broke off wen moved. to get anything done was impossible ends up it was privately owned so thrs a big loop hole for the hotel . we couldn't get moved to another room for some strange reason nd they offered no days or anything we basically got told oh well its privately owned so thrs really nothing we can do bout it which made for a very disappointing first image nd a uncomfortable stay of 4 days the pics show it all. we will never step foot in thr again . they did come nd plunged the sink only to tell me to call housekeeping tell them to come clean it so he went next door nd plunged that sink nd black stuff was flying out onto the mirror every plunge it spit on our side. it was juss horrific to say the least .it would've bin to easy to juss upgrade us nd we b going back thr but they dont care they still get thr $

I’ll be staying at Palms Place for Thanksgiving week. Are Palms Place Suites furniture updated ? Are there smart TV s in the room?

The TVs are smart but locked for specific use by the hotel. The furniture was updated and fully stocked kitchen when I was there a couple weeks ago.

We have a stay via air b and b coming up. We have read over and over about the lack of cleanliness. Is this still an issue and if so how do we fix it upon arrival?

Hello, there is a refrigerator available upon request at check in for $30 for your stay. Thank you

Can you use air mattresses or floaters in the pool?

Hello and thank you for sending in this question. For the safety of all of our guests, we do not allow any large flotation devices in the pool. Thank you

Is there a fee for housekeeping?

There is no fee for housekeeping, just the normal optional tip to leave in the room once checking out. I believe the housekeeping fee would probably be combined into your resort fee at check-in. Resort fee is roughly around $36.

Can you host a party w/ DJ?

No you cannot. No more than 10 ppl in a room

Can you be fully nude with your gf?

    *rolls eyes*

Are the balconies assessable? I stayed at a penthouse here back in 2013 & I was so mad that the balconies were locked!

I was told that if you rent the room through Air BnB then you can have access to the balcony but if you rent through the hotel directly then it's not available? Weird to say the least!

For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. Turns out we were dealing with a bunch of sleazy, greedy liars. The first night we were placed in a room that turned out to be next to a room with a service elevator in the South TOWER. So, when we went to sleep around midnight, despite my noise machine, I hear loud, rumbling sounds off and on for 2 or 3 hours coming from above me, but not directly overhead. Turns out those rumbling sounds were coming from room service carts in the service elevator room on the floor above. The next morning I am a very tired wreck and I go down to the front desk. I found this woman named Julie who stated she has worked there 25 years. She tells me she has sleep issues, so appears to be very sympathetic. I believe she said that sometimes she doesn't sleep for 3 or 4 days at a time. In any case, I only went down there to get a new room and never asked for anything else. She didn't have a problem with that. At some point she informed me that my entire stay would be complimented. I informed her that we just checked in the day before and I got teary eyed because I was so impressed and grateful. That was it, and I now had keys to the new room and our current room so that we could easily move. Well after we got home I find out that my 2 nights weren't refunded. I do see a $62 credit though, which turned out to be one nights resort fee. That's it. I respond to their Email survey with the situation, and I receive an Email response stating that this woman has gone over the notes about the incident and that one nights resort fee was refunded but the 2nd one was still processing. No one ever mentioned a word about resort fees and I responded with an appropriate Email. I stated that if both nights were not entirely refunded that I would be on Yelp the following week, so here I am. Of course I never even received that 2nd resort fee credit, which is really irrelevant as I was promised a complimentary stay. So, a place that really guards against cheating, chooses to cheat me by not keeping their word. Sleazy, greedy liars. Too bad that employee and I couldn't take polygraph tests because obviously the problem was with her unless this other lady lied about the notes. YUCH & YUCH

First Impressions: The hotel has one of the best scents in Vegas; if you know, you know. Whatever they're using in the vents, paired with their designated smoking areas, really keeps the air noticeably fresher than most other casino hotels. Check-In & Service: Big shoutout to Kim at the front desk for such a warm welcome. She gave us a choice between a room close to the elevator or midway down the hall, and advised going with the latter since the hotel was hosting a cheer convention (i.e., excited kids everywhere!). Her advice was spot on and her customer service was top notch. Truly a fantastic way to start our weekend. Room: Our room was gorgeous: spacious, super clean, and well maintained. We had a great pool view, loved the privacy door for the toilet, and the stone-walled shower with a bench was a nice upgrade. There was also a large soaking tub with a clear view into the bedroom, a desk, and a separate seating area with two ridiculously comfy leather chairs. Pool & Amenities: After unpacking, we went straight to the pool. The main area has two large pools separated by a walkway and cabanas, with two jacuzzis at the end near a huge outdoor screen. There's also a day club if you're looking for a party vibe, complete with its own bar, pool, cabanas, and a live DJ. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun and loved the easy access to drinks from the mid-bar or roaming servers (didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but maybe next visit!). Parking & Fees: There is plenty of parking available in the lots, which makes coming and going a breeze. A $40 or $50 daily resort fee does apply, but that's pretty typical these days and didn't feel out of the ordinary. Final Thoughts: Every detail, from the clean air to the thoughtful service and beautiful property, made this a memorable stay. M Resort is definitely a notch above most Vegas hotels. Highly recommend, and can't wait to come back!

Review of the Security Department at Fontainebleau Las Vegas…read more My experience with the security team at Fontainebleau Las Vegas was disappointing and fell short of the standards expected from a premier luxury resort and casino. A significant concern is what appears to be an excessive level of suspicion toward guests. While security personnel are responsible for maintaining a safe environment, their approach often feels intrusive rather than professional. Instead of providing a sense of safety, some interactions create unnecessary discomfort and make guests feel as though they are being scrutinized without cause. Additionally, there appears to be a lack of training in hospitality and guest relations. Security staff should be able to balance safety and customer service, especially in a high-end resort environment. Unfortunately, that balance seems to be missing. Their presence is often overly obvious and lacks the discretion expected from a professional security operation. The role of security is to protect guests and property, not to create an atmosphere that feels intimidating or unwelcoming. A more guest-focused approach, combined with enhanced training in communication, professionalism, and hospitality, would greatly improve the overall guest experience. Leadership within the department should also be evaluated. Given the importance and prestige of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the Security Department should be led by individuals who demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, and a clear understanding of modern hospitality-based security practices. The current direction of the department raises concerns about whether these standards are being consistently met. Fontainebleau Las Vegas has the potential to set the standard for luxury hospitality in Las Vegas. Achieving that goal requires a security team that protects guests while treating them with professionalism, respect, discretion, and courtesy.

The rooms are the same, amenities are the same and what we like and don't like about this place are the same. I will say, we have come to really like the staff at the front desk as we've become sort of "regulars" here. They always make checking in pleasant, even when we get there too early.

The location of The Reserve is near to the T-Mobile Arena and other MGM properties. You can even catch the free Aria Express to transit from The Park, Aria, Vdara, and Bellagio resorts, which is especially helpful during the hot Summer months in Las Vegas. The Reserve at Park MGM is located on the top four upper floors of Park MGM (formerly Monte Carlo). Its driveway is located on West Park Avenue off of either South Frank Sinatra Drive or South Las Vegas Boulevard. There are fewer than 300 rooms and suites at The Reserve, each decorated with a distinct New York style by French architect and designer Jacques Garcia. Each room is appointed with custom furnishings, Bellino linens, and large flat screen TVs. Many suites also feature free-standing pedestal bathtubs and separate water closets. Since we've stayed at this property over the past six years, we have noticed there have been no decor changes or improvements to its excellent services. In the past, we've stayed in various-sized suites, ranging from 700 sq ft (Grande Suite) to 409 sq ft (Classic King). The property is completely non-smoking. They still offer free bottled water (10 oz) and bed slippers in your room, unlike some other properties. Check-in is quick and easy, and can be done on your smartphone, while check-out can be done on your television. Either way, you can reduce the risk of being caught in a crowd at the reception desk.

However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again. Connie was at the reception and welcomed me warmly. Parking is free. That's right. FREE. For your entire duration of stay.

This will look like to most a motel with a drive up to your room and an upstairs set of rooms. No pool . You are with in walking distance of the Four Seasons The Luxor and Mandalay Bay etc This is on Las Vegas South You can buy breakfast on site. Free coffee up in the front office with package cookies They have a mini fridge in the room. I was gone early in the morning and was back late The minus was street noise from construction and I was there on trash day so the trash truck backing up at 5:50 Am was an early morning wake up call ( I needed to be up at that time anyways) No house keeping while for my two day stay I would be happy to stay here again
