Wow. Everything I needed is here! Palms place is a condo tower. It's much quieter and intimate than the casino. You are connected and there is a sky bridge connecting the two. The condo space matched my needs perfectly. Full kitchen, plenty of space for my weeks stay. The views from my balcony's is unmatched. I cannot say enough about this place

The property was very impressive. Upon entering, there were very few people (I got there on a Thursday morning), and check in was typical. I loved that I got a free buffet ticket each day. However, they should give at least 2 - if you come with your significant other, only 1 gets to eat for free. I think that's fair. The buffet was really good. Too bad I don't eat crab, but it seemed likea lot of people enjoyed it. The bottomless mimosas are a fantastic touch. The room was really nice. I didn't have a strip view. But, I didn't care. I did have a couple of issues: the TV in the bedroom didn't work; there seemed to be limited light in the living area; the ice maker didn't turn on; and the pool was closed. The shower was a highlight. Dual showerheads front and back, as well as a rain forest showerhead from the ceiling. Too bad I couldn't get all 3 going at once. I liked that I had to walk a good bit to get to the Palms. I am in a walking competition, and the extra steps helped. Lol. The security seemed out of place. Are there that many people trying to get into the place? The Ghost Bar was an experience. Unfortunately, it was only about half full as Vegas is having fewer visitors. And, the drinks were a bit pricey. But, that's on par for Vegas now it seems. Overall, I enjoyed the hotel and the stay. I will definitely be back.

Clump of hair from previous guest left on the shower shelf.

This is my first time staying at this hotel and I booked a 1 bedroom suite. The room they gave us needed a lot of updates and fixing. A few things were broken... lamp, curtain, and sink/shower knobs. The door to the main bathroom wouldn't close and would stop half way. The TV remote doesn't turn on the TV, I had to walk up to the TV to turn on the TV for both the living room and bedroom. I noticed a cigarette burn on the sofa. The AC was weird and even though we change the temperature it was still freezing cold. The shower was not cleaned. I walked into the shower and noticed a clump of hair on the shelf and a strand of hair on the wall and floor as I was about to shower. Definitely not my hair and I didn't even wash my hair. Called front desk and spoke to the manager Joseph about it. I appreciate he took care of the issue and refunded the resort fee and did a courtesy late check out for the issues. He had house keeping come clean the bathroom but they didn't even clean it. Again next day I went into the shower and they missed a strand of hair on the wall between the shampoo and body wash bottles. Elevators were slow and at one point only 1 elevator was working. Also, beware the guys who help with the luggage stated they charge $10 to bring up groceries as they only do luggage. Never heard of this at any hotels that had a kitchen. I was too tired from the drive and just paid it. Nice hotel, but needs a lot of updating.

Spit wads on ceiling above the bed

This property, specifically Room 310 on the 30th floor at Palms Place, is an outright scam from start to finish. I booked this room back in November and was charged immediately, despite our stay not being until January. That should have been the first red flag. Upon arrival, we were then hit with a $150 "cleaning fee" that was never disclosed upfront. Paying an undisclosed fee just to access a room that was supposedly "clean" is insulting -- especially considering what we walked into. The room was filthy. And I don't mean lightly used -- I mean dirty, neglected, and clearly not maintained. This room advertises fully working amenities. That is completely false: * The bathtub had no running water * The microwave did not work * The kitchen was not operational, despite us specifically booking this room for a 4-day stay so we could cook and eat in We were there for four days, stuck with a kitchen that didn't function at all. The issues didn't stop there: * The room smelled musty and stale * The floors were filthy, with painters tape still stuck down holding tiles together * The bed frame was disgusting -- scratched up and worn * There were literal spit wads stuck to the ceiling, clearly left by previous guests (children, most likely), and never cleaned * The bathroom sinks barely drained This place is not just poorly managed -- it's deceptive. We attempted multiple times to contact the property owner to resolve these very real issues. Their response? A laughable offer of 20% off a future booking. That is an absolute joke. We would never stay here again under any circumstances. Charging hidden fees, misrepresenting amenities, and renting out a room in this condition is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor: DO NOT book Room 310 on the 30th floor at Palms Place. Save your money, your time, and your sanity. This place is a scam dressed up as a luxury stay.

Always wanted to stay here so I checked it out for a staycation. Staff was great, security was great and the room was amazing. Place was clean and very spacious and right next to the casino. Views from the balcony were amazing! Would definitely stay here again!

How far is Palms Place from AYCE buffet in Palms Casino? Also is booking directly at Palms Place considered private owned units? Does Palms place have flat screen TVs?

Hello GR, it's less than a 10 min walk from Palms Place to the Buffet. All units at Palms Place are privately owned; however we do manage the rental of some units, others are available through Airbnb, VRBO and other 3rd party sites. Yes, there are…

I’ll be staying at Palms Place for Thanksgiving week. Are Palms Place Suites furniture updated ? Are there smart TV s in the room?

The TVs are smart but locked for specific use by the hotel. The furniture was updated and fully stocked kitchen when I was there a couple weeks ago.

We have a stay via air b and b coming up. We have read over and over about the lack of cleanliness. Is this still an issue and if so how do we fix it upon arrival?

Hello Amber, if you are staying in a private AirBnb unit, all communications will need to go through the owner of whomever you booked the unit with. The hotel itself does not provide cleaning services to these units as they are privately owned and…

Is there are refrigerator that guests can use in the ivory sweet? Or is they are available upon request what is the price?

Hello, there is a refrigerator available upon request at check in for $30 for your stay. Thank you

Can you use air mattresses or floaters in the pool?

Hello and thank you for sending in this question. For the safety of all of our guests, we do not allow any large flotation devices in the pool. Thank you

Is there a fee for housekeeping?

There is no fee for housekeeping, just the normal optional tip to leave in the room once checking out. I believe the housekeeping fee would probably be combined into your resort fee at check-in. Resort fee is roughly around $36.

Can you host a party w/ DJ?

No you cannot. No more than 10 ppl in a room

Can you be fully nude with your gf?

    *rolls eyes*

Are the balconies assessable? I stayed at a penthouse here back in 2013 & I was so mad that the balconies were locked!

I was told that if you rent the room through Air BnB then you can have access to the balcony but if you rent through the hotel directly then it's not available? Weird to say the least!

We waited over an hour to check in only to be told our room isn't ready yet and they would call us. Well we never got the call. We decided to use the pool while we waited. 6 hrs later still no phone call or text so we went back to the front desk to check and was told our room has been ready for awhile but we never got the call. So we would've waited for no reason. Good thing we're local and has a car. I can only imagine how stressful it would've been had we been visiting from out of town and have no car. I guess we would've checked our bags in bell desk if that's the case. Once we got our room it was beautiful! We had a good size bathroom, separate living room and balcony. The bathroom has a jacuzzi jet altho I was too tired from activities to use it. I just took a quick shower and hit the bed exhausted each nite lol The amenity is great! Long walk thru the casino and had to go upstairs 3 floors to get to the pool entrance but at least the pool provides complimentary cold water and towels. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and lots of slots machines, video poker machines, table games. Lots of bars to choose from. Their main attraction seems to be the chandelier bar which have millions of Swarovski crystals. Definitely a photo opp! We ate mainly at the convention room since this was a work event and the banquet staffs gave superb service. I even made friends with a few staffs. One of the staff member brought us a bowl of berries since I made a joke about my hubby always looking for berries lol sadly I forgot his name. Our company also booked our excursions as well which was attending the "O" show complete with open bars, dune buggy in the desert and party at Vanderpump nite club and pool. See why I was exhausted? Lol We had a blast tho. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We can't wait to come back and stay here again. Hopefully next time there won't be a mix up with parking and shorter line at checked in. My only disappointment was that we didn't get to try their buffet, Wicked Spoon. I was hoping for ayce crab legs lol

When I arrived, by rideshare, I was dropped off at the front entrance. It was super busy and there were a whole lot of cars. I had to walk through the casino, and there were a lot of people inside. It seemed like a very lively place to be. I got to my elevator area and it was great because they have guards verifying that only hotel guests are entering the room towers. They have a scanning machine where you scan your room key to verify that you are a valid guest. This made me feel very secure and happy about where the conference chose to host us. I had stayed at the Palazzo before and I was super impressed with that property in this resort. Let me tell you the Venetian was five or six star to me. This place is super luxurious and well appointed all throughout. My room was absolutely fabulous, very clean, smelled awesome, and I didn't itch at all during the whole week of staying in this room and sleeping in this bed. The marble floors of the bathroom were phenomenal. The shampoo, lotion and conditioner, plus body wash was amazing and smelled wonderful. I will happily stay here again and I signed up for their Venetian rewards before I came. Unfortunately, my $1700 stay did not make it onto my Venetian rewards account for some reason, I even paid 2 months in advance. I went to the Front Desk of Venetian rewards when I checked out and they were not able to help me to apply the $1700 stay to my Venetian rewards. This was super disappointing and so I should have taken a star off for that, but the stay experience was awesome. The pool complex is amazing as well as the conference center. Everything at this resort is fantastic and I highly recommend going to the: Grand Canal shops to peruse, enjoying the gondola rides, the wonderful shops, being able to go to the Wynn property, and the Palazzo property, from this location, was all awesome. Our stay fell short of expectations due to a series of maintenance and housekeeping issues that…read moredetracted from what could have been a comfortable experience. Upon arrival, the first red flag was visible mold spotting on the bathroom mirror--an unappealing start that raised immediate concerns about the room's overall cleanliness. That concern was validated when we discovered stray hairs left in the bathtub, clearly indicating the bathroom had not been properly sanitized before our check-in. The room's technology was equally frustrating. The television suffered from persistent buffering, with a loading circle interrupting playback at random intervals, making it nearly impossible to enjoy any programming. Additionally, the wireless charging pad on one of the bedside tables was non-functional--a small but annoying inconvenience in an age where we rely on bedside charging. On the environmental side, the room was woefully under-lit. Despite its generous square footage, the existing lamps and overhead fixtures created a dim, cave-like atmosphere that made unpacking and reading difficult. The refrigerator was set too warm, failing to keep our perishables chilled, and the ice machine was either broken or entirely out of ice, which was a disappointment for a group hoping to cool down after a long day. For a suite advertised to accommodate six people, the storage planning was perplexing. The room itself was spacious enough to host a small gathering, yet luggage space was extremely limited--there were no proper luggage racks or benches, and the closet contained only a single robe for six guests. Cabinetry for clothing was also scarce, forcing our group to live out of suitcases on the floor, which cluttered the already dim space. Navigating the room itself was awkward, with a confusing layout that made it hard to find light switches and outlets. Worse, the room was located at the far end of a labyrinthine hallway, requiring an exhausting amount of walking just to reach our door each evening--something that should have been mentioned at check-in, especially for a larger group. Overall, while the bones of the room are good, the execution in cleanliness, functionality, and guest-ready preparation was severely lacking. With better lighting, working appliances, proper storage, and a thorough deep-clean, this space could be wonderful. As it stands, I would not recommend this room for families or groups without significant improvements first.

I know that other hotels on the strip have separate elevators exclusively for separate parts of the hotel. I really enjoyed my Atelier room. It was a little bit larger than the standard room. The distinguishing factor about this room is really the bathtub in the room. However, the bathtub itself seems to be a liability for the hotel. I have to say that someone can easily slip and fall in the bathtub. Use extreme caution when using the bathtub. I loved the European french decor. The toilet was a little far away from the bed, but I suppose that is good if you are traveling with somone so when they went to the restroom, it would be less noticable (more privacy, less noise). Since they are hardwood floors, I can hear chairs being moved around from the rooms above me during my stay. I was a little bit irked. Other than that, my stay was quite enjoyable at The Reserve.

However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. Its a cute little wander to see what they have. Il Fornaio is a restaurant that we also frequent at this hotel. What's also good about this place, they have a section that caters to kids. The little arcade areas and the roller coasters. Not a lot of hotels have things for minors which helps when you have family that's underage. Mainly we've been popping in for the sports bar for all the sports that's been happening lately. It's a decent hotel and casino. Pretty affordable and you feel like you're getting your moneys worth. I don't know if rooms are updated as it's been years since I was last here. But they do have some nice restaurants along the cobble streets. More of a take out and find a place to sit restaurant, but pretty cool.

Asked for a room close to elevator, gave us one at the other end of the long twisty hallway. Room has no coffee, fridge, water, or much else. You just get a bed, TV, and a bathroom. There's an empty space where the fridge used to be, so they had it before but eliminated it to 'cut cost' for higher margins. The liner on the ice buckets doesn't fit (pull it over one side, the other side pop off because it's too small) so basically useless. When you try to fill it, ice just fall around everywhere instead of in the bag. Motel 6 level of comfort here. Employees that looked like they're tired of dealing with the multiple guest issues week after week. I don't blame them. $15+ 6-5 Blackjacks, 3-zero roulettes and slots you lose 15% of whatever you bet. Offer less while charging more is a great business strategy. The rubes keep coming anyway, why not? Went to eat at the Mexican restaurant downstairs, $30 for mediocre fajitas that came out lukewarm like reheated leftovers. Bland bland bland like school cafeteria Mexican night. Are we having fun yet?
