Here's my 2 cents:…read more Pros: new studio is gorgeous and extremely clean Pro: organic products, seems to be state of the art equipment Pro: gentle touch Con: Too much talking! -- I would have preferred the education either before or after the appointment, but you get a pre and post consult. Plus during the entire facial she continued to explain not only which products she was applying, but repeated assurances that she only uses top of the line plant based products-must have heard this at least 50 x that her goal was to educate me about skin care and recommend the best products that only she has. There were maybe 2 minutes during the entire appointment in which she wasn't talking. I appreciate the education but I also get facials done for relaxation and pampering. This was hard to do when she was talking the entire time about how great her facials are. She also does a post-service consult on which products I could purchase if I so desired. My entire appointment took almost 2 hours. Con: Price! - She was informed I was using a Groupon for the service at the time of booking, when the facial was over I reminded her again that I was a Groupon customer. She stated "Oh its been so long let me look at the instructions on how to redeem." She then asked me to look over the paper and "in particular pay attention to the yellow highlight". The highlighted portion had to do with suggestions on how to tip. Something to the effect of "Groupon customers must tip 15-20% of the cost of service pre-groupon." She informed me the regular price on the facial is upwards 100. I ended up leaving her a 20$ tip and she did not even acknowledge my request if she could make change-I felt this was extremely bad taste. Aftermath: My skin does seem a bit clearer, but not astonishingly so. I agree with Sheetal that this is not an overnight process and so I will continue getting regular facials and upping my skincare game, but will do so somewhere else.

When I reminded her that I was using my Groupon, she appeared irritated, let out a heavy sigh, and then said, "Never mind," then honoring the Groupon. I returned because I had already purchased a package, which I now regret. On the last visit, I brought my child, who is autistic (ASD), after seeing other clients bring their children. During the appointment, my child was stimming and rocking. Jessica spoke to him very ugly and in a way I found harsh, telling him to stop because he was rocking into her furniture. I found the interaction upsetting and nasty. I have posted reviews about my experiences before, but they were removed after Jessica reported them. I disagree with that decision because these are my own firsthand experiences as a customer. Based on my experiences, I would not return or recommend her services.

I went to get a hair blowout & the…read morehair dresser saw my arm & told me it was skin cancer and that I needed to go see my Doctor immediately. I called Doctors office and let the nurse know what was going on. She said there is no way a hairdresser can diagnos skin cancer. They gave me a name & # to call and make an appointment. I called that dermatologist only to find out that they do anti-aging treatments but not cancer diagnosis or treatments. I went to Yelp to find reviews & recommendations. I called the 2 companies with the highest scores only to find out that they too are not for removing or testing skin spots. In the interim my favorite Aunt called me & I let her know what I was in the middle of. She lives a mile from us & recommended Sienna Dermatology. Bingo! I called & was asked if I wanted to see the doctor or an NP. I didn't care, just wanted someone that could take a sample & send it in for testing. Location and how soon I could get an appointment was my priority. The NP at Sienna was great & said neither spot was cancerous and that no biopsy needed to be done for that diagnosis, she could tell by site that I was okay. By this time I'm a little panicked & telling her the hair dresser freaked out & saw the same skin issue in another client that she told to get checked & he did have cancer & jokes about her saving his life all the time. So the NP at Sienna Dermatology froze the blemish on my arm & removed the skin tag on my calf. All the same day! I was of course thrilled to have that concern behind us. Especially before Summer! Every Summer the blemishes bother me but I never want stitches or open wounds in Summer so continue to put it off. Now the arm blemish looks the same except it's a little darker color now & I was told it will fall off like a scab. The tag on my calf looks pretty gross without a bandage. You can see a hole where the skin they removed is supposed to regrow & repair itself after a few weeks. So I am extremely happy with my experience and will be even happier this Summer since I won't have to worry about any yuck water getting in my sores. I highly recommend Sienna Dermatology and hope you have a great experience with them too!
