Loved my experience with Skin101! I got the Vitamin C SilkPeel and my skin is still soft and glowing and it's been less than a week. Tori was my esthetician and not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but she was great to make sure I was comfortable, everything was clean, and that I knew what she was doing during the process. After a pass on the neck and two passes on the face, she did a firming mask on my face and a charcoal mask on my t-zone for oil. I am really looking forward to booking again with her! I found Skin 101 on Yelp after having issues getting into the place where I normally get Botox. Skin 101 even had a Yelp coupon special ($150 for $200 worth of treatments)! They are open until 7 during the week, which is great for people like me who have to schedule around work. Another thing that really impressed me: I was able to text them for appointment availability and they could fit me in that same day! I work in a cubicle very close to other coworkers, so this was crucial, as I don't like to make personal calls like this in front of them :) The building was very easy to find and there were plenty of parking spots right in front of the entrance. The sitting area where I filled out the new patient paperwork was very comfortable and they even had snacks and drinks! Right after I was done with my paperwork, they took me back to the treatment room, which was spacious and immaculately clean. The injector made me feel very comfortable and I let her know that I recently passed out (at another facility) while getting Juvederm. She gave me some chocolate truffles and cookies to ensure I was comfortable and that didn't happen again. She did a fantastic job injecting me - I never felt faint at all and I couldn't believe how quickly it was over! She was very knowledgeable and I am extremely pleased with the results. I had such a great experience at Skin 101 and I plan on making this my regular Botox (and other injectables) spot! read more

Great spa! The front desk women are very sweet and helpful in trying to accommodate your schedule. Carrie did my Botox and injections and I couldn't be more pleased. At no time did I feel pressured to "buy more" or start with a more aggressive treatment. She made thought out recommendations that would simply enhance my look without appearing plastic. I found Skin 101 on Yelp and decided to try their Silk Peel. Great experience! My skin feels smooth and hydrated and has a nice glow. They told me about their $101 club and I'm pretty sure I'll give it a go as you can cancel whenever you'd like. I'm interested in trying chemical peels. The workers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was also very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I will be a returning customer. read more

This is my first time at this medical spa, and it was a very positive experience. When I called to get info, the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful, taking a good deal of time explaining different options. When I went, the reception area is cool, artfully and smoothingly decorated. Water, snacks, and various drinks are available. My esthetician was Erica, and she was wonderfully vibrant, full of energy, and fairly thorough. The treatment room and facility were spotlessly clean (very important, IMHO). I will be back to have other treatments. I hope they give returning customers some coupons or discounts, as this is not cheap. I have been to other well-known spas in Houston, but this stands out as the best so far. read more

While I was excited to try this location, I don't think I'll be returning. Despite the awesome customer service, the actual facial was disappointing. First, I was immediately told at length about a silk peel without any kind of exam of my skin. I mentioned my interest in a chemical peel but was told they'd knock off 50 dollars for a silk. While hesitant, I took her word for it. So, 20 minutes later, with minimal prep, I was on my way out. The procedure is a longer version of the facial they perform at Sephora. It's basically a small vacuum that is run over your skin 3 times and is supposed to remove blockage while also adding serum and exfoliating. I have a lot of blockage and was told this would address that and help with dryness. I didn't notice any significant change in my skin, and for $100, I'd rather blow that on some crazy expensive serum at Sephora and get this facial for free. read more

I got an acne facial here and they did a really nice job. I went when they had an offer for 50% off aesthetic services, which was nice. The place was very nicely decorated and clean, and the receptionist was very friendly and offered me something to drink at the start of my facial. The lady who gave me my facial went through a couple different options and told me which service would work best for me and even told me what services to get in the future to remove acne scars. At the end of my facial they gave me two complimentary mini-facial cards to give to my friends. Overall a very nice experience. read more

I had the silk peel procedure done with the clarity pro-infusion. Very painless procedure. This is my first procedure and I have severe acne, with dark spots. To early to tell if the procedure is effective. I will post an update to this review after 4 weeks. The facility is elegantly designed in cool grey tones. It was very clean with a spa like ambience. They also offer diluted corticosteroid injections for those off us with painful Cystic acne for $25 a syringe. read more

I went in for a brightening facial and had a wonderful experience. All of the staff is very welcoming and friendly, the place is extremely clean and my facial was perfect. I left feeling great and relaxed. I will definitely go back and try some of their many other services, as well. They seem to run great specials, so I'll be keeping my eye on that, too! I recently visited Skin 101 for a Silkpeel Facial as well as Botox. I had only ever had Spa like facials which are really more relaxing than clarifying/cleansing, in my opinion. The Aesthetician was very friendly and knowledgeable about the procedure and products. She did such a great job and my skin was glowing for about 2 full weeks. She also recommended the Dermaplane Facial which I've never done before but I can tell you that the Silkpeel was the BEST facial I have ever had. I had originally had an appointment for Botox later in the week but the Dr. was there and they said they could go ahead and administer on that same day so I said cool, let's do it. I ended up going with Xeomin which is supposed to be comparable to Botox and was a tad cheaper (maybe $1-$2 less per unit). It's been about 18 days so the Xeomin has had time to activate and it looks so good. Also, just a tip, you do need to tip the Aesthetician but not the doctor. I had only been 1 time prior (for Botox) so I wasn't sure when I was paying. I highly recommend Skin 101 and will continue to go there for my skincare needs. read more

I had a silk peel here about two months ago. It was a good experience. My aesthetician recommended that I get the peel that's for breakouts because my skin was congested with blackheads and I needed a good clean. Although I enjoyed the treatment and the glow it gave me for two weeks, I have to say that the silk peel is best done after you've had a facial removing all the heads for your skin. The silk peel will not thoroughly achieve that for you. So, get a good cleaning and then, do a silk peel. This will give you the best result. Otherwise, you'd be like me with noticeable blackheads still in my nose. Still, it's a great treatment and I do recommend it. read more
