Store and food selections are great. Temperature is a bit too warm in the summer. Turn the thermostat lower so it'll keep the people inside and continue to shop some more. Also, consider putting down seats or random seating area in the mall for the elderly or dads that are with shoppers. The only seating areas were the food court or the restaurants. Oakridge mall is decent but definitely not your typical lux vibe as in valley fair mall. Stores have less foot traffic when compared to other busy malls. Dinings options are average. I grew up going to Oakridge Mall with family and/or friends. The most frequented places were the theaters, Orange Julius, Mrs. Fields Cookies, & Macy's. It has changed quite a bit since I was a kid. It's been bought out by Westfield and renamed, major restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, Shake Shack, in addition to Target, 99 Ranch Market, a parking garage and the front parking lot is all one way now. If I must go to a mall, I prefer Oakridge over Valley Fair. Oakridge is not as large and overwhelming as Valley Fair and I can always find a parking space, plus there isn't all that backed up traffic entering and exiting. Oakridge for me is nostalgic. I used to hang out there in the 1980s as a teenager when it was very different. No movie theater, no Cheesecake Factory, no ramen. The best restaurant back then was Carl's Jr. with a hot dog cart where you could make your own chili dogs. Needed to kill some time this afternoon while waiting for an appointment nearby, so I stopped in. Found a parking spot quickly, as usual, and stopped in at a few stores. It was nice and cool, and all of the employees I encountered in various shops were courteous and helpful. It was busy but not overly so. Even found a purse at Macy's for 40% off. I'm not a fan of malls, but today's experience was quite good. read more

Beware if you are watching a late night movie here. Unbeknownst to us, they only allow exit through the food court doors after a certain time. A security guard let flagged us to let us know we could only go through those doors. What would have been a quick walk back through the mall to our car turned out to be quite the journey. We were parked on the opposite side of this exit. The icing on the cake was that after our journey back to our car, the exit/entrance that we would have gone through (the one by the security office) was wide open. read more

This is the quieter mall unlike Valley Fair. They have all the big stores like Macy's Target Uniqlo etc. Surprisingly there's a pretty big 99 Ranch too. You can grocery shop and shop for other stuff! For some reason the ac was not on in this mall. Mall is big and clean. Pretty good option in SJ. read more

Oakridge Mall is like Valley Fair's little cousin. I remember going to Oakridge Mall as a little kid and it was just one long strip. Throughout the years, it got a big renovation and some new retailers but I feel like they need a new revamp just to keep up with the other malls in the South Bay. I do like the fact that there are new eateries there and more coming soon and I'm excited for it. But the look of Oakridge Mall already feels outdated. Hopefully in a few years, it will look and feel modern again. One great thing about Oakridge is that they don't charge for parking so that's a great perk right there. Some of my favorite stores include Target, Nordstrom Rack, Uniqlo, Ranch 99, and some of the great eateries inside. Decent small mall with most shops common to all malls. I love the Christmas trees and decor put up-looks far more festive than valley fair. Recently,there seems to be a takeover by Asian restaurants and shops due to the change in dynamics of the area. I like the cinemark here with their comfortable seating. read more

Oakridge Mall has been part of my life for three decades since my childhood. I've seen so many stores and eateries come and go. Some good, some great, and some not so great. As online shopping became more convenient, I don't find myself coming to the store in person anymore. Also, parking is packed on three weekends, so I typically avoid the crowds. Today, I came for a quick errand to pick up an online order from Target and 99 Ranch. Therefore, I got to walk a full lap around the mall and got a glimpse of all the stores. There's an okay variety of stores, but nothing seems to stand out. Some of the kiosks were interesting. The cotton candy machine was cool, but the windows could use some cleaning. Can't wait for Uncle Tetsu to come! The sign said August 2023, but we're already near entering November. I hope they come soon! read more

I rarely go to malls anymore. They used to be a staple for my family when the kids were in elementary school because the vibe was positive, bright, and safe. The Westfield Oakridge Mall is one of the smaller malls I've ever visited. The mall structure feels outdated with the worn-out flooring, dull lighting, and old furnishings. The parking structure is small, too. And mall store additions (like 99 Ranch) are both good and bad: new additions breathe new life into the mall but it feels like such a mismatch of stores. The movie theater and restaurants likely draw in a lot of patrons. We visited recently during Lunar New Year activities. It was awesome seeing family-friendly activities and the mall itself was decent but I would only go again if there was something specific I needed that no other place carries. read more

This is a good mall to go to, but it seems typical, but better in terms of design. Most of the vendors from the food court are the same, but at least they have Mochinut, which is one of my favorite donut and boba place to do to. It's also adjacent to Target and 99 Ranch Store, which is quite odd, since that kind of store is almost never close to a mall. The inside seems smaller since the ceilings aren't really high in terms of height. I'd say that it's a good mall if you live close by this area, but I wouldn't really come here often. read more

I've been going to the Oakridge mall since I was in middle school (I'm 23 now), and it is always been one of my favorite malls to go to. I enjoy all of the new additions to the mall and appreciate that it isn't as expensive as the Valley Fair mall, for example. Despite all of the cars in the parking lot, the mall never really seems to get that busy. I find the mall to be pretty empty in some parts. There's a decent selection of stores to shop from (H&M being one of my favorites.) there's decent selection of food in the food court as well, but there are also restaurants nearby to eat at. I wouldn't say that the mall has necessarily improved greatly, but I won't say that it has gone downhill either. It's stayed relatively decent. read more

My childhood mall. A lot has changed since the 90's, but they always keep up with the current trends with restaurants and stores. There is a surprise huge Ranch 99 Asian Supermarket, Macy's, Target, movie theater, nail shop and pretty decent food selection of restaurants. There are treats such as Orange Julius, boba, pretzels and a large food court. I used to sit in the food court and study for long periods. The large area creates a nice blend of a shopping mall sound ambience. Try it. I recommend. A lot of average clothing and novelty stores where I can browse and it is nice to walk and look around while exercising a bit. Great for an entire family outing or date night. read more

Living in the south bay san jose area, i am absolutely happy to have westfield oakridge mall near by for my everyday shopping and dinning. Yes this mall does not have all the flashiness of Valley fair and as large but i like the way it is such that it has a big surrounding parking lot and it is easy to in and out. It now has a 99 ranch super market and target which Valley fair does not have. In terms of store selection, the mall has a theater, a few restaurants, and many specialty stores to choose from. In terms of service, it is hard to put a overall rating for the whole mall, but i generally think the people in there are nice and welcoming in general. read more

Oakridge is definitely my type of mall. They have most the stores that I really enjoy... Hot Topic Bath& Body Works Daiso MiniSo (new) Box Lunch Tokyo Aldo Francesca's Forever 21 H&M They also have TP Tea, Ranch 99, BJs, Cheesecake Factory and JINYA Ramen. And they're adding even more. Soon they will have mochi donuts and also a Smashburger. What I love about the small the most is that all the stores are very affordable and not overly pricey and fancy. Although I really do like Valleyfair, there's a good portion of their stores that I can't even shop at because they're way out of my league. I feel like I always leave Oakridge with something cool to bring home Lastly, they have my favorite movie theater, Cinemark. I love Cinemark because they have very loungy type seats, D-Box as an option, and one of the best memberships. The Cinemark membership is only $9.99 a month. With that you get 20% off of concessions and you get one free ticket a month. And if you don't use the ticket it will just roll to the next month. I use my tickets like all the time read more

Oakridge Westfield Shopping center has a good amount of stores. Food court has plenty of options a variety of selections to choose from what you are craving for. Theater is open with all hour show times. Playground indoors, and outdoors and plenty of other amusement and entertainments for family fun of walking around, browsing or for shopping for a specific occasion. I come to this location of Westfield shopping center with my kids, and sometimes just myself. Most times I do spend my time at in the mall areas when I'm actually looking for something verse of just walking around. Westfield Oakridge location on site has security guards and actual Apple Store at central. Any interactions with either food court customer services associates at check out, and / or Westfield shopping center on site security guards, and any other persons of this shopping center is primarily communicated in via English only. I had included several photos of myself and children enjoying this location on out hangout time.I normally come to this shopping center using my own personal transporation, but my vehicle honda Oddysey Van has broken down not starting since March 2025 due to overly drained battery which now Im traveling to areas by foot. I Christina am a mother of 3 children which this location has children stores that allow for activity time, and other playful family child amusements locations as past time activities hallmark stores for items purchased keepsake. As my travels here to this Westfield shopping center with myself alone, or if anytime with my children along with me I'd noticed of any type of incident to please first ask on how I would like to be helped, or to be cared for as if I am unresponsive to please call 911 emergency to save a life. Westfield Oakridge Mall has been a part of my life for over four decades since my teenage years, but it's seen significant changes. In the past, we had better stores and nicer department stores, like Macy's with a wide range of contemporary and luxury brands. Now, the Macy's offers basic styles and mid-tier brands, many of which are cluttered on rolling racks by the dressing rooms. Unfortunately, all the designer women's brand stores have disappeared, and now it's more of a neighborhood hangout for teenagers and high school kids. It feels like a downgrade, and if you're looking for something nicer, you have to drive to Valleyfair, which can be overcrowded, or all the way to Stanford, which is beautiful but quite a distance away. The only standout for me at Westfield Oakridge Mall is Sanraku, one of my favorite sushi places. Apart from that, there's the usual mix of national chains, occasional visits to Target, and now the 99 Ranch Asian market, making it more of a place for errands than a shopping experience. It's not an ideal place for dates unless you're looking for sports viewing options with friends at BJ, Slater 50/50 or Cheesecake Factory. The mall selection caters more towards Gen Z and Gen Alpha. And it has a youngsters vibe with too many sneakers shops and young clothing stores. I wish management would consider older shoppers (Gen X) who can afford to live in the area and buy nicer products at this once cooler mall before Westfield took it over! read more

Westfield oakridge at blossom is one of the 2 malls in the southbay. Compare to the other Westfield valley fair, oakridge is definitely less grant and shops are not as many. There aren't as many first class restaurant as well. I wish they have more store and restaurant here for more selections. read more

This used to me my go to mall when I lived South SJ. I missed this place because it way less traffic comparing to Valley fair. It's true that this mall doesn't have the all luxury stores comparing to Valley fair, but I don't make a luxury purchase each time going to the mall. This is like a "everyday" mall that meets all my usual needs. It's very convenient yo have a target, Anderson's bakery, and a 99 ranch supermarket inside the mall. Review is solely based on the family bathroom. Came to the mall with my toddler and baby. Needed to nurse and change the baby & use the restroom. Came to the family lounge in the food court. There was nothing but grown adults- no children and mostly men inside. I went to use the bathroom and the door was locked. Decided to change my baby in the corner changing station- (where no adults were) and wait. Waited a long time only for a grown man to eventually come out at min 20 mins later. Went to sit on the bench to nurse so my toddler could sit at the activity table (with 0 activities in it) 0/10 for the bench having no back...not very comfy to try and feed a baby) but there was an adult couple taking up the whole space. The man was sitting across the entire bench while the woman was braiding his hair. Decided to go into one of the nursing stalls instead. There were 0 chairs or benches here. Literally just an open square. Idk what the point of that is...? To stand and feed your baby?) Left and decided to feed her at a table in the food court instead. This was a Thursday am...not even peak mall time. Security def needs to be watching this area more closely to make sure it's being used for its intended purpose & have it supplied correctly. read more

3.5 stars Oakridge Mall is located in south San Jose. Not as nice as Valley Fair, obviously... but still pretty decent! This mall is also 10 minutes from my office, so once in a while we'll come here for a team lunch. Anyway, I've been here a couple times... went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner once. Nice bar area! I've also been to the Target here... fairly large. There is a parking garage, so that is convenient. I believe recently they went through a fairly sizable renovation-- I hear there are new stores & restaurants here. Anyway, if you're in south San Jose, this is the nicest mall in the area. I started coming to this mall all the time when I moved to south San Jose just 10 minutes away. It is a solid mall--- doesn't seem old / run down and has some good stores. The only thing about this mall that I can think of to gripe about is that it is too small. Ever since they opened the Ranch 99, I come here soo frequently. It's nice and brand spankin' new inside and well stocked. I started always parking in the lot right outside of the Ranch-- there is always a lot of available parking when I come, usually weekday afternoons, and my husband says he has no trouble parking on weekends as well. read more

Updating my review for pandemic-related concerns...So. Many. People. Not. Wearing. Face. Masks when there is still an indoor mask mandate. It's not even that people are walking around sipping on a coffee, because they do that also, but these are just literally people completely disregarding the requirement all together. There's also no effort to correct it, with the exception of an employee of the Apple store whom I overheard ask someone to wear their mask. I think Westfield should do a better job making sure we're safe. They employ security whom are also not walking around. They could easily walk around & if they were to encounter someone maskless, they could address it. read more

This mall keeps getting worse and worse. I took my son school shopping and we decided to eat I. The food court. When we went to leave I was stuck to the seating bench! The tape used to cover holes on the seats was stuck to my pants!!! My pants are ruined because this mall does not fix their property. Looking around it looks like duck tape is their go to solution. There was no customer service for the mall only mall security. All they deal with is reports and lost and found. No one was able to address my issue. Aside from the horrible upkeep this mall is also a place to bring your dogs apparently. I've witnessed dog poop on the floor on more that one occasion. I understand service dogs but brining your family dog should not be ok. What about those with allergies? Should those with allergies not be able to shop here? read more

But I recently went back to visit the area and stopped by the mall...and it was soo hot and stuffy inside the mall... some of the stores had no AC. 148 stores and restaurants and big movie theatre. One of our popular Malls in South San Jose looks like a Ghost town. I Never thought I would actually miss going to a mall to find some good yummies or clothes. Some of the popular restaurants are providing drive by pick up only a lot of places are closed down until further notice. Only one that is open is Target. read more
