There's a $5 cover on Fridays and Saturdays (I think they have live music both days) and we did not have a reservation. I think if you have a reservation you can get a table in their back area. We were up front with the band. It's a pretty small place, maybe about 5 or 6 high top tables in the front, the bar toward the back, and that back room which we didn't look in. We cozied up until someone left a high top and then hung out there. We ordered some drinks that were specials for the night and some that were regularly on the menu. We had a great time! Drinks were good, I think also reasonably priced. Music went from 7pm to 10pm and we got there around 7:30 and it was good and busy! This definitely feels like a family joint, their mascot is their little chihuahua Wishbone and I love that so much. Owners were fun, kept things going while the band was on break, just overall a really good time. I'm not much of a drinker so I can't speak to the types of liquor, but I definitely was feeling my drinks and couldn't finish my 3rd. If we lived here I think this would become a regular spot for us. This is called Sunset Market because it's in the evening! We've been there so many times that we know where out favorite food stands are. My oldest son loves the birria mac and cheese tacos while my youngest son loves a certain french fry stand. My partner and I love finding new food stands and trying them. They're often overlooked...and that's a shame! There's a fun kiddo area if you're bringing little ones- I've seen bounce houses there. Pro-tip- there's a line of portable restrooms by the kid bounce house section. There's also live music with local bands and a few high tops there. They go very quickly. Lots of people just grab a seat on the curb and eat. Every year, it get more and more crowded- people, strollers, dogs...it's nearly impossible to walk down certain food heavy streets to see what's down there. So, we try to time our trips to arrive as soon as the market starts and then leave when the crowds really start flowing in. And every year, it gets more and more expensive...so be prepared. We decided to hire them for a wedding on November 28, 2022 and it was one of the best decisions. At our wedding they were amazing and very professional. My entire family danced and enjoyed the music. In general, it's a great vibe with people of all ages. We love that seniors, not so seniors, young, and old can gather and enjoy themselves together. Some relax on the grass. We like to stand with the group that gathers in front of the stage, dancing, and singing. It's all good. BUT, it seems that more and more every year some adults have way too much to drink. It's not the younger adults but the older adults. Not yet seniors that think they can drink like they did 30 years ago and get too tipsy carrying their drinks towards the stage, swaying their arms in the air and spilling their drinks everywhere. They stumble around bumping in to everyone. This is a family event not an adult swim. I'm more impressed by the younger crowd who seem more respectful. That's right! It's some adults who should know better who are acting like fools. Anyway, we love and support our community. We will continue to go as long as we can stand it. But someday, these drunks and entitled people who park in the bicycle lane and block people's driveways will do what they always do...ruin it for everyone else. Sigh...
