No returned call from them was made. I had a weird encounter over the phone during our last appointment. They kept calling and texting us to take my dog in at an earlier time than what they scheduled us. Mind you, they scheduled us 2-3 weeks out and they knew of the appointment. It was so frustrating and confusing because I was at school and in class while they called and texted. My husband work nights so he didn't even know what was happening because he was sleeping. I called to confirm our set appt time which they scheduled us at 2:30pm and they wanted to know if we can take our dog in at 12pm because someone else cancelled their appointment. I told them no, I am not free and my husband cannot take him in at 12pm. My husband took our dog in at the set time (2:30pm) and my dog got his usual groom and wash. Pros: They are quick with grooming and wash. Cons: Appointment dates are far out. Also, communication needs to improve so there isn't any confusion or misunderstanding.

They have all been very good to me and my boys. I have also always had their shots done, and was always prepared for that since they notify you by email in advance when their shots are expiring. They have extended my boys stays on short notice or were able to get them in on short notice as well. The only thing that has ever been required sooner than most places was kennel cough, and flu which is completely understandable! SO THANK YOU CHRISTOPHER RAYNOR , for pulling out so my pups could go in on short notice, especially since my boys shots were up to date. On another note Mr. Raynor, don't go trash talking my family. I consider The Bark House extended family since they have always taken care of my boys and have always notified me when my pups were due for their shots. I don't appreciate someone who trash talks my family when you sir, were not in compliance, and really dude...do you know that parvo can kill a dog? Again, The Bark House has always taken care of my boys, and if you give them enough heads up they will even bath them before you head in to taken them home! I recommend them to everyone and they are good supporters of military, police and I believe first responders as well. But being military and police, they have supported me and my boys since I discovered them! They are wonderful with my boys which always come home tired and happy from playing! Thank you my Bark House family! Always, Alpha & Grizzly's Mom

The good - the female facilitator and the other gentleman were very sweet. They gave a great tour, and were always happy to take calls or answer questions. I think this place is great for folks who work on USA Parkway, or folks who are content with quick exchanges with no feedback. The bad - Unfortunately most of my drop offs consisted of dealing with Thomas, the owner. He made it clear pretty early on that he thought me and my dog had "anxiety issues". When I picked my dog up each day I liked to ask how her day was, as I'm genuinely interested (I love my dog lol) and it's nice to make small talk. Thomas took this interaction as me thinking my dog had a problem, and would make comments about my dog having some type of issue. He constantly rubbed me the wrong way, saying it was incorrect for me to say goodbye to my dog as it would increase her anxiety, and mentioning that I shouldn't call in to check on her. The final straw was today, Thomas had made a comment to my husband yesterday that my dog was "nippy" with him, and I wanted to talk to Thomas about it directly as I was genuinely concerned about my dog showing potential signs of aggression. Upon me asking him about it, he immediately let me know I should probably find another daycare, as I'm the owner he deals with that has the most issues or concerns. I tried to amicably let him know I'm only trying to get more information on the situation, but he kept insisting I go somewhere else since I'm not happy. This was a totally unprofessional way to speak to me, and as a paying customer I think it's well within my right to ask second level questions about my dog's behavior. I will be taking his advice, and going to a different daycare that doesn't view me as a problem customer for checking in on my dog or asking about her at pickup. 2 stars because they helped us out during days we needed dog care, and I'm appreciative for that!

I booked the appointment. While there I went into specific detail on grooming & his tail. Since, it is NOW considered 'dog mutilation to dock tails & remove dew claws after 3 days of birth! I dropped my Yorkie off the scheduled day & time. As I stood at the reception desk, I could see 3 groomers, a grooming room attempting to groom a 10 lb Schnauzer. 2 Females & 1 very large male with shoulder length curly, frizzy hair. 2 Groomers exited the Groom room, 1 older thin female & the heavy set male. I reiterated to the older female about the grooming of a Yorkie, especially his tail. As he has had a delightful Mobile Groomer who has cared for him monthly, since we adopted him! The older woman, retorted we do 100's of Yorkies, so we know how to groom a Yorkie! I left my 3lb Yorkie in the hands of strangers. Decided I would go for an early pick up. He was in that same grooming room by reception desk and Oh My Goodness! I was shocked & appalled at what they had done to my Yorkie! They didn't groom his face, his ears, his legs and they gave him a flat top! I walked into the grooming room & asked the groomer why she done this to my dog? I said you are not grooming a Schnauzer, a Yorkie! So, quickly ran across the hall & grabbed another groomer & both of them working on my Yorkie COULD NOT fix all of the grooming errors! The 1st groomer came & apologized for all of the grievous errors and stated " I've never groomed a Yorkie!" WTF, I was advised they do 100 Yorkies. My poor baby looks like he belongs in an Elven Forrest with his big hairy ears, flat top, full hair on all 4 legs, and she just made 1 straight on his tail hair at the base, so it looks like a broom! Never, ever will I subject my Yorkie or myself to such heinous treatment and I did tell them that, as my Yorkie & I left. I paid them the $70 fee & tipped UNDESERVEDLY $30! I Need a new Mobile Groomer!

I love that I always call ahead and they state to "come on in." It's usually for a nail trim and I'm in and out. They have been gracious in the past with Rosie to not charge anything due to only the declaws needing a trim and I was sure to tip them. With Bambino having black nails I'm sure to reach out. This time I thought to ask to throw on a quick eye area trimming (since he's a white maltipoo). And that with the nails was may $10. Quite a great deal. I appreciate them for accomodating me and all of my doggies in the past. Super thankful for this salon!
