Line was long, but moved fast. Good burger and fries. No eating inside, just drive through.

We need a Pal's in Knoxville, but until then we make the trip for fries, chipped ham, etc. it is worth the trip!

The burger and hotdog along with the fries was awesome. The drive thru only the is a bit of a draw back. Would be nice if they had a place to sit down. Food was pretty good. It's definitely not horrible but not the best. The patty, you can tell was a cheaper meat. I have definitely had worse. The fries are for sure the best part of the meal but come in the small paper bags. If you're a fry person I recommend getting 2 bags. Customer service wasn't the best but they were quick. read more

Got the big pal with cheese and bacon,It was really good so were the fries.The only complaint I have is they could have been a little bit warmer.They weren't cold but they weren't real warm either. I think that's the fastest I've ever gone through the drive thru,They already had the food ready by the time I drove around the building after ordering.Crazy fast !! read more

Have been wanting to try this place for a long time finally made it over that way. I think this place might be alittle over hyped. Definitely not worth an hour drive from Knoxville. Love me some Pal's! Although I was a Big Pal guy for many years, I find myself ordering the chopped ham sandwich more and more. The frenchie fries are always hot and fresh. Pal's is somewhat legendary in the Foodservice Industry for having the fastest drive thru times, friendliest service and incredible order accuracy. So I didn't expect great food quality as it's more of the service that they are known for. Speed - it took 6 minutes to get our food with two cars in front of us. Not bad for the industry but I was expecting faster due to their reputation and name: Pal's Sudden Service. Friendly Service - it wasn't friendly at all, in fact it seemed like they didn't care at all. Accuracy - they completely forgot the hot dog we ordered and we had to go back through the drive thru. The food was pretty good though for fast food. Just wish they lived up to the hype with everything else. read more

Pal's Sudden Service has far better burgers and dogs than the surrounding fast food joints. The shakes are better too. I suggest eating the skinny fries right away, while hot. They do not hold as well for the ride home. I was quite pleased to see this drive through only joint make it to Jefferson City. Pal's service is really "sudden" as they advertise, and all my food has come out consistently yummy. If you are not from around here, this is worth a stop. Oh Pal's. What little discovery has been made, after I was introduced to you last year. Your juicy burgers. Your mouth watering chili. Why do you have to be so far away from me? Well, you're not that far. I came to Pal's for the second time and was curiously wondering why I never wrote a review. Let's just say this place is my TN version of In-n-Out. Of course, it won't top that, but it comes close. So, what makes it so good? The burger is so freaking awesome. This visit I ordered 4 double big pals and the lady that was taking my order looked at me like I was crazy. But why? I had to because I realized it's been a year since I've been here. No, I didn't just order the same burger 4 times. Two were with bacon and cheese, and two were with bacon, cheese, and chili. Yes, you read that right. Chili on a massive burger. Also with that order I got a hot dog. Hot dog is legit, filled with chili and just tasty! So how did it come out? Heavenly. I still have a couple that I haven't ate and am looking forward to eating it. If you drive by this place, or live nearby, I'm pretty sure you know what this place is. Everyone said we had to try the cheddar rounds at breakfast so we did that also. I thought they were ok but not life changing as we were promised. The biscuit and gravy were great! read more

I love Pal's! Their cheddar rounds and sweet tea are absolutely incredible. I used to get sweet tea from McDonald's, but Pal's quickly replaced it! They have options that most chain fast food restaurants don't offer. The employees are always really friendly as well. read more

Love their food. While I'm missing it right now while on "safer at home" it will be the first place I go in a few weeks. I live in strawplains area so it takes about 18 minutes to get there, totally worth the drive. Burgers are great, toasty cheese is delicious. Frenchie fries are yummy. In the fall we make extra trips for the barbee dog, which is bbq on a hot dog bun. We go more than we probably should and they have only made one mistake.
