Stopped in for a quick slice. Got the vodka chicken slice and a white slice. It was somehow $9 paying cash. The vodka sauce itself is tasty, the chicken was not great but the slice itself was a pizza without sauce where they just put vodka sauce on top which is very weird and not how you make it. Poor customer service. The counter staff was annoyed. I only wanted one fountain soda with a couple of slices, and I corrected them when they gave me two. I didn't drink the other, but they were happy to charge me for it even after I complained. The manager or owner watched as I said something and just ignored my frustration with an employee who didn't listen to me at first or my complaint afterward. Everything we have tried this far is great here, we live so close to them but since they aren't on Door Dash or Uber we never really trued them but our teen daughter told us they deliver themselves so we made our first order, then another the next week lol. The linguini and white clam sauce is wonderful, the meatballs were a little bland for me, I like a little crust on my balls lol but they are good, eggplant park was good too. Now what I judge all Italian by is the chicken parm. It was a nice portion, comes with pasta, they aren't cheap charging you extra for pasta as I notice some other places do now, come on that's not a dinner! The chicken was tender, nicely breaded and tasty sauce and cheese, a classic. But the show stopper was their hot honey pepperoni pizza, it is amazing, we always order it from Corbo which is brick oven style but they are so tiny, and we need to order too many, this is a nice large pie, crispy crust, perfect amount of cheese to pepperoni ratio and perfect drizzle pf hot honey. Terrible customer service. My husband ordered catering from them for a work picnic. He was late in picking it up and a woman calls him very rudely saying his food is here. He says he's on his way and she hangs up. Then he gets there. There's 3 people behind the counter not paying attention. He's waiting. Finally he gets their attention and he says I'm looking for my catering order. They say, yeah, it's there. He tells them he needs to pay. The guy yells at him, "Pick it up off the counter and then you can pay." My jaw literally dropped. They don't deserve to still be open if they're going to treat customers this way. If I could give 0 stars I would. We used to be frequent customers of Palumbos. The customer service here is TRASH. Mean and nasty employees. The owner is so rude. What drew the line for us as customers was when my mother ordered a roast beef sandwich and the entire thing was grizzle. Not only were they rude to my mom about it, they were rude to my father on a SEPARATE occasion. We used to go minimum of 4 times a month here.
