Where to start? I feel bad writing a such a poor review but our entire experience was bad so I have to do this. The margarita pie was terrible, pizza crust wasn't fully cooked was too thick and there was too much mozzarella cheese. There was also a lot garlic on top. As for my daughter's shrimp Alfredo: The person on the phone said they removed the poop strip from the shrimp on the Alfredo- but they lied! My daughter was grossed out after realizing she ate one- they also leave the tail on. She also said her pasta was bad in general. We didn't even eat at any of the food we spent $50 on. This was our first time to this pizza parlor/restaurant and it was late on a Sunday evening. Our dear friends brought us along because they said it was excellent food. Well, we couldn't agree more. Now that we found this place, we wish they could clone themselves and come to the Boynton Beach area where we recently moved. I had a large salad with grilled chicken. It was delicious but the others each had a true Italian entree which featured their incredible sauce - so flavorful. I tried my husband's veal pizzaiola - that was it! Now I won't be able to get it out of my mind. The others had chicken parmigiana and loved it as well. They both had plenty left over for another meal. It's been some years since my last review of Villa Pizza. The good thing is that over those years, nothing has really changed. The pizza is still delicious. I'd highly recommend getting an order of their garlic knots and/or rice balls along with your pizza. Villa's food has gone downhill. I know this might be a little late to post but I am stating it anyway. I had a family birthday celebration for me at Villa on November 30, 2024. They served me a knotted ball of spaghetti which you couldn't even eat. I brought it home but couldn't untangle it. It was gross. I should have sent it back but I didn't. It looked like a tangled hairball. I am never going back there. Palumbo is delicious in Holmdel. read more

No problem with the people who work here they're all wonderful, no problem with the FOOD, it's very well made and incredibly tasty, no problem with the building, it's clean and very well kept. Problem with the prices. Can no longer afford even a basic cheese pizza, and unless things change or improve, will no longer be able to support Villa. I'm sorry. Need to be able to survive and eat. I've never gotten anything other than pizza here and that's probably because the pizza here just isn't that good so I've never even bothered getting anything else. Just picked up a few slices today and two of them were actually so bad I couldn't even finish the second one. **Updating hours later and I've been so thirsty and have just overall not felt good after eating those disgusting slices ** I've always considered their pizza pretty mediocre for NY/NJ pizza but good enough if I'm hungry and in the area to grab a quick slice and be ok with it, but I'm officially never going back. $13+ for 3 crappy slices of pizza and no drink? Yeah I'm good lmao. Also the one guy who possibly might be the owner can be kind of weird and the time before I came was actually pretty rude as he said 5 mins for my order and I came back 20 mins later for him to still say 5 more mins and I'm "gonna have to wait like everyone else"...when I wasn't being rude or anything just asking politely for an update...he was a bit standoffish to say the least. But the final straw is seeing they've added the infamous chicken caesar salad pizza to their menu. I'm sorry but a salad with caesar dressing on pizza is not a good image if you're trying to be an authentic italian restaurant. And nobody bothered to tell meI asked again and they said it was gonna be another five minutes and I said I want my money back and then they try to change me a dollar because of credit card process I'm like are you serious? This place offers a great menu a variety of sandwiches, pasta, prepared fresh looking pizzas that they sell by slice for a quick takeout or you can dine in. We ordered their plain cheese slice, white pizza slice which was thin, crunchy and had just the right amount of cheese. We also ordered a vegetable slice. It was sort of thick like their sicilian slice. It was very light, airy and crunchy which was delicious. They really offered very generous sized slices. Since a co-worker recommended Villa Pizza it has been my favorite place for pizza in the area. My favorite slice is called Grandma's Pizza. It is fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, basil, and red sauce on a very thin square crust. I tried the rice ball and thought it was just so so.
