I've previously reviewed this place and kept back 1 star because of the tailor. I don't think that's fair because the tailor is not a core part of the business. plus, i've not been to the new tailor. (old tailor was horrible...he's gone, so we can't hold that against them). The cleaning aspect to pamper is top-notch, and the customer service is fantastic. I've tried all the cleaners in Hicksville, and pamper is, by far, the best. Not sure if they're the cheapest (probably not). But they do excellent work. read more

The best cleaners around! All my clothes always come back perfectly pressed and any stains are gone! The staff is very friendly and I love that I receive text messages letting me know when I can pick up my items. Recently, I tried their laundry service. What a game changer. Highly recommend. Worst service ever received. Staff will not honor advertised pricing to make an extra few $. Tailor should have retired many years ago. Their work is unprofessional at best. (Stitching pockets together, showing tears, etc). Dry cleaning will return shirts with more lint than you brought it with. Suit stains poorly cleaned. Damage on cloths with permanent markers. Staff refuses to acknowledge that prior request have been made. Manager/owner confrontational with little regard for resolution. Won't ever step foot into the store again. read more

Total rip off! They had a Wednesday "special" where you supposedly drop off 3 items and only pay for 2 items. Well I did. As a first time customer they asked for my cell, and I provided it. I got my receipt with no amount due. So I asked how much do I owe? I was told "don't worry you will get a text confirming when to pick up and how much it is". Pick up date was 7 days after drop off, very excessive but I didn't need the items right away. I get a text 5 days later saying it would be ready on the 7th day but a huge bill. More than any dry cleaners in the area! $7 an item! I asked when I picked it up picked it up "what happened to 3 times for the price of 2?" I was told you have to pre paid in cash for that. I said I tried, and was not given a price! Then i was told too bad, you didn't pay that day. Guess what GFY! NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!! And they didn't get all the stains out! I would give zero stars if I could for service, not performance. My 83 year old grandmother has been going to this cleaners and using their alterations woman exclusively for over 20 years. Last year, after getting a pair of pants tapered for my grandfather, she received the pants back with a double crease in the front; the original crease plus a new crease from the new seam from the tapering. She expressed her displeasure since HOW COULD SOMEONE WEAR PANTS WITH TWO CREASES IN THE FRONT. She brought the pants in almost half a dozen times since then, always receiving them back the same way and always returning to have them fixed so they have a single crease. A month ago, she went in again with the same issue and the staff went ballistic; they flipped out telling her they were tired of going through this with her. She kept asking what she did wrong since all she wanted was the pants as they should have been. Two separate female managers told her they 'would not argue' with her anymore and WALKED AWAY from her. She tried to drop clothes off for dry cleaning after that and when she went to pick them up she was told they had not been cleaned, that they did not want or need her business any longer, and to take her things, get out, and not come back ever again. The one manager additionally told the alterations woman--in front of my grandmother--to never do alterations work for her ever again. My grandmother spends hundreds of dollars on alternations and goes by during the holidays to give the woman money because she loves her so much. This treatment of any customer, let alone an 83 year old woman, is disgusting. The managers have absolutely no understanding of how to interact with the public or resolve issues to satisfy their customers. My grandmother is genuinely heartbroken over being told she can not use them for her dry cleaning or alterations anymore. The business that they will lose from her, my family, and all the other people she has referred to them is substantial. Absolutely gross. I will be telling EVERYONE I know about the way this cleaners treats loyal customers. read more

1 star for this repeat offender.. this place has low reviews for a reason . Save your time and money and go somewhere else. First my blazer was dropped off for cleaning and spots/stains were still left on it that was few months ago. So i give it another go by giving 3 coats/jackets to get cleaned .. they are definitely not the cheapest so you would think they would do quality work .. I'm beyond disappointed with their work.. stains are still there and i got charged $57 for 3 jackets.. and mind you, 2 of the jackets were thin material jackets no fur. I spoke to the manager that obviously did nothing about it.. charged the full price and didnt do the work they are supposed to and obviously justified it by saying "nothing is guaranteed" terrible customer service, terrible quality - go somewhere else. O.K for dry cleaning but horrible for repairs. The woman who does the repairs was very nasty she repaired a shirt for me and did a horrible job And on top of that she gave me an attitude. They will hold your clothes hostage BEWARE!! If I can give them zero stars I would. I went to pick up items and they refused to release hundreds of dollars worth of tailored items until I pay a $115 "outstanding bill." I proceeded to tell the owner my family had been a customer for 15 years and we never not paid the bill. In fact, we had a house account with the credit card stored. The bill was paid in cash months to take advantage of the 5% discount months before and they wanted me to show them a receipt of the cash payment (again, from months before). In the end I had no choice but to double pay to have my clothing released. These people have horrible accounting and cannot keep track of what you give them. I had an instance where they misplaced a very expensive sweater and told me they didn't have it. After months of trying to find it myself and me nagging them they finally found it. Horrible customer service, prices and owners. And very discourteous. read more

I have been going here for the last two years for my dry cleaning needs. Noticed in my last receipt that the fee was noticeably higher than previous bills. Didn't realize this until I got home. Brought it up to them at pick up and I was told that is what they always charged ($5) for dry cleaning a shirt, although that is clearly not the case based on my past receipts. I assume their POS terminal keeps a record, so they could have easily looked it up. Didn't want a refund, just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting "taken to the cleaners". I will no longer be using their services. Overall quality of work is decent, but not at that price point. Many alternatives to this place. Also, three day turnaround is absurd. read more

I picked up my clothes today which were suppose to be dry cleaned. This is my third trip at this cleaners. I was so disappointed with their service. They washed my clothes instead of dry cleaning them. Shame on you!!!!! You charge so much and do such a horrific job!!! I am a Franchisee of Dunkin donuts. I have 17stores. I don't need dry cleaning that often, but clothes come out great! They are my go-to place for alterations or anything I need fixed. Their tailors are very detail-oriented and do a neat & impeccable job! I don't let any other place alter the length of my pants or repair my delicate clothes if they need fixing. Below mediocre services. I've used them weekly for several years. There was a period where they did an excellent job but past few weeks they've gone down hill. They repeatedly ignore any special instructions you include with clothes that you drop off. Everything is also a rush job which is apparent in the condition that your clothes return in. They will also give you a dumbfounded look when you ask them to stop using hangers on wool sweaters as it stretches them out. The staff are clearly a bunch of amateurs. read more

If you have to get patches sewn on a military uniform do not come here, take the extra time to find a place that does a lot of uniforms it will save you time and money. After explaining to the tailor for about a half hour how to sew on the patches to my uniform I returned two weeks later when he said they should be done and they were sewn incorrectly. Luckily they fixed the situation and it's acceptable but still not what I explained to the tailor in the first place. If you have customers that need to explain what they need done and it's a detailed item they should have taken better notes and have a staff who understands English a bit better. read more

Amazing Dry Cleaning and tailoring. I have been to several other dry cleaners and my clothes never come out right but this place always gets them perfect. They even have same day pick up for no extra charge. The tailor I use at this location is Kiki, she is the best and makes my suits fit like a glove. read more

I've never used their dry cleaning service but I've had clothes altered here and I was happy with the results. Not too expensive either.
