Untrimmed cuticles and imperfect gel polish

Pedicure felt very rushed... she trimmed my nails but didn't use a file to even them out, she barely touched my cuticles (and I like mine to be removed), massage didn't feel like one, and the gel is imperfect and out of line. I paid too much just for my nails to look like I did them myself... such a sad feeling. It's like paying a lot of money for gross food LOL. They were very friendly though and took my last minute walk-in. Parking was also great! It's a very small place, so probably recommend making an appointment during the weekend.

Sam and Nancy was so good, helpful and attentive. Brought my vision to life and was very kind and appreciate her!

Finally, I'm not an orphan--I've found my nail shop! I've been without a nail shop for a minute now, bouncing from shop to shop and leaving each feeling dissatisfied (and overcharged). Until I headed into Pampered Nails today and got a gel pedi from Anna and a full set with an ombré teal design from Sam, the shop's owner. I was incredibly impressed with the shop's clean and cute interior from the moment I stepped in. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make every customer there feel special--from a cute lil' champagne glass filled with OJ during the pedicure to the orange slice used during the pedicure. I opted for the Sea Salt Pedicure and was not at all disappointed. The massage was long and lovely and the pedicure was perfect. Next, I moseyed over to Sam's station and had a great experience! She did an AMAZING job on my nails. They are perfectly shaped, smooth as a baby's butt, and stunning as can be. I will be telling all my friends about my new spot!

She's great, hands down! They are very passionate about their craft and take their time with each client. And the vibe is always fun. I love joking and laughing with them. Even my mom, who is very picky on who does her nails and feet has started coming here. Great place and great quality of work. You won't be disappointed!!

The nails were okay, a little bulky. The ladies were hella rude. One of them basically called me fat and asked me if I was pregnant. Very unprofessional, will not be coming back. Paid for my service and left, no tip for rudeness.

Under new management and it shows! The salon has a fresh, clean, and modern vibe. I've been going to Sam for a while and followed her from her previous location--she always does an amazing job on my nails. Super detailed and consistent! Nancy took care of my pedicure and did a fantastic job--very thorough, clean, and the polish came out flawless. If you're looking for quality work and a welcoming atmosphere, definitely check them out. Sam is absolutely worth it!

best nail salon quaint and relaxed atmosphere. it's clean, there's always background music and snacks. recently got a pedicure from kymmy who was great! friendly and happy with my service sam's lash services continue to be the highest quality! highly recommend! ---- sam is the best! i've been getting my lashes done by sam for over a year now. she uses high quality products that look really natural and don't irritate my eyes/lash line. very professional and friendly! highly recommend got a regular mani/pedi by nancy which i was happy with as well! shop is a newly remodeled clean and super cute space read more

Found this place on instagram actually looking up places for nails in pleasant hill, and so happy I did ! Sam and Anna took care of me , Sam did my gel x nails and Anna did my gel pedicure. 10/10 group of ladies. Super satisfied and happy with my nails. I have been to this salon twice now! My previous nail and eyelash technician took over this salon and made it her own with brand new chairs and interior! Sam is really good with eyelashes and nails and this location is quiet but convenient. She is super attentive and her skills are great. I've gotten my nails done here every month by Sam she is the best. She can do pretty much any design you ask for. I also get pedicures done. This is definitely my go to spot. Brought my 91 year old mother to this salon for a mani-pedi as a walk-in appt. and we were very impressed with how nice, generous and friendly the staff was to us. The place was spotless. Staff offered us hot tea or coffee. Prices reasonable, too. My Mom's technician even walked her gently back to our parked vehicle. My Mom and I would defintley return here and highly recommend this spa for its platinum customer service and white glove cleanliness. read more

She's now the new owner of Pampered Nails and Spa in Pleasant Hill, and you can truly feel the difference under her management. Sam is incredibly quick without ever compromising on quality. Whether I go for something simple or want a detailed design, she always delivers flawless work. I get gel builder, and even during my busiest times when I've had to stretch my appointments (not recommended!), my nails have lasted up to 5 weeks with no lifting--so impressive! She also gives the most perfect pedicures--my toes are always polished to perfection. On top of her talent, she's so sweet and kind. I've been going to Sam for years now, and I'm so happy for her starting her own salon! Sam is so personable and detailed, and has such a great work ethic with her clients. I haven't found anyone that can do a great almond shape like she does. She's capable of complex art and loves trying new designs. Nancy did my pedicure, and it was great as well! Annie did my Gelx set. She was very attentive to the colors that I wanted in my set and the designs. I told him that I had already been disconnected multiple times and was just trying to get my prescription. The manager wasn't rude, but it didn't really feel like I was talking to someone who was concerned about fixing the issue. I expected a little more urgency since why are the pharmacy staff acting like they answering calls and disconnecting them on "accident". Instead, the only solution offered was to transfer me back to the pharmacy and let them know I was waiting on the phone. When someone answered, I asked if her name was Shemma. She immediately responded, "Nope," and transferred me. I was connected to Shemma. I realized she wasn't the same person that had disconnected my earlier calls because her voice sounded different from the employee who had answered before. Since Shemma stayed on the line, I decided to ask about my medication and a possible prescription transfer between Walgreens locations. I explained that my regular Walgreens told me that if this location had the medication in stock, they could request the prescription transfer. Shemma told me, "No, I can't do that. Call that Walgreens to transfer it." This completely conflicted with what I had already been told, and I felt like I was being talked over. My biggest concern is still the employee who initially answered the phone. After one of the disconnections, I called back and asked for her name first because I wanted to know who was disconnecting the calls. I figured if the call got disconnected again, at least I would know who I had spoken with. When I asked for her name, she responded, "Sure," and the call was disconnected. This is another reason I strongly recommend asking for the employee's name at the beginning of the call. I feel like people are less tough when they know you know who they are. If you need to follow up, file a complaint, or reference a specific interaction, having the employee's name can make that process a lot easier. With that being said, I don't need my prescription to be filled here anymore. Goodluck to ya if you have to call this pharmacy.

I had to explain to the tech the importance of my child's medication being filled on time, given that a missed dose can cause a life-threatening issue. About a month ago, I was in line inquiring on my child's prescription. There was another customer standing super close behind me while I was giving the tech very personal information. The staff did not say anything to the customer standing very close to me. There I was disclosing personal medical information not realizing that the customer was near me the whole time. (They should check the cameras; I can't make this up!) I only became aware that the man was standing extremely close to me because another customer in line pointed it out and told him to step back. There is no way that pharmacy tech helping me did not notice him. HIPAA VIOLATION! Anyway, if I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would.

Horrible customer service by old man there today who did my full set. The guy was like pulling my hand,pinching me, he kept saying "ugh", moving his head to the side while saying "tense" he said that like 10 times during my set. I have gotten my nails done before this has never happened. He was like in a horrible mood. When he twisted my whole arm I told him "ouch" and he was like "you're taking a lot of my time" so I told him it was the worst place I had been too. His attitude was horrible he hurt my whole hand. Don't go to this place at least not with him. He's 50's. Other places the manicurists are super nice and I can actually have a conversation. This guy was like mad the whole time. Horrible. I have been going to Pampered Nails and Spa for over a year and I am very happy with them. I have acrylic nails and I have never had a pop off. Michelle is the best. She is fast and I always get a quality job. I always ask for her. They are open 7 days and most of the time I drop in and can be seen quickly. I just moved to Walnut Creek couple months recently, i want to look for a good place for my manicure and pedicure, luckily I got my friend's reference to this shop, I felt happy very much with their services, their prices are good too. I took the deluxe pedicure ; Wow the pedicure there was AMAZING. They do an exfoliation scrub on my legs, callous remover on my heels and a mask and then they use those hot stones. The color also look great on me and I actually was going to my cousin wedding and I got a lot of feedback about my nail. My appointment was at 12 o'clock but they kept taking new people in and double booked appts. with nobody to give a manicure, or pedicure . This isn't the first time they've done this to me. I would not recommend them! They do not value you as a customer. My time is limited like most working moms, 40 minutes later I'm still waiting. I could have gone anywhere else! Best pedicure I've ever had, and I've had a zillion of them. This girl was better than my favorite nail spa! She even stayed half an hour after they closed to make sure my pedi wasn't rushed. Decent price for their deluxe pedicure $45, but you can choose an inexpensive price selection ones too. Guys, this place is amazing. Super clean, warm and welcoming service. Make this your regular nail salon.You'll be very happy. read more

This place was fantastic, I really enjoy going here when I'm on my break. I love to get a dip powder because the shape is really nice and the color too. The service is really good, and I like the way they treated people is really nice. I was actually came in late with no appointment today and somehow they manage to welcome me in and be able to gave me a room for my dip powder. Thanks you, pampered nails. read more

Worst acrylic set I've ever had. Not even a week later, and they were already beginning to lift and I ended up removing them altogether on my own after two nails cracked and broke off. I wish I had something positive to say, but even the service was less than spectacular. The only way I would return to this salon would be to demand a refund - I paid $33 for a set that didn't even last a week. read more

Not a good experience at all. Small place, rude people, not very clean, cluttered, bad nail job and clearly not customer oriented. The ladies that work there lounge around and talk and laugh with each other like they are at home and it makes it very uncomfortable, especially since it is in another language. My shellac nails that I got on a Tuesday peeled off by Saturday. Will not return. read more

From walking in the door I felt so welcomed. I was having such a bad day and was in need of a pedicure pampering. I was seated right away even though they looked very busy. I tried milk+honey deluxe pedicure and I felt so relaxing.The lady who helped me (sorry I forgot her name) was very friendly and gave an amazing massage.I will definitely be back. I absolutely love Pampered Nails Spa in Pleasant Hill, California! It's so conveniently located near my route when I drop off my kids at school, which is a huge bonus. Their service is always super fast, and the quality is fantastic--my manicures and pedicures always last. Plus, the prices are really reasonable. I highly recommend it! read more

I'm loving Pampered Nails&spa. I moved to Pleasant Hill three months ago and am so happy I found them. Ivy did my acrylic nail and duluxe pedicure. Im pretty picky with my nail almond shape but Ivy did it perfect and I did not even have to tell her what to do! Will definitely be coming back . read more
