We got the Trenton style tomato pan pizza. Delicious robust sauce, high quality cheese, and perfect crust. I devoured this! While their pizza is the main star of the show, they also knock it out of the park with their other menu items. They have items here that you won't find at a regular pizzeria. The chicken vodka sandwich was oozing with delight. Their homemade vodka sauce was creamy and complimented the chicken cutlet and fresh cheese. And yes, they use pizza bread for the sandwich! I was purely in carb heaven! Their wings are insanely fresh, and they serve theirs grilled, which is a welcomed bonus. Makes for a healthy dinner option. We got the mikes hot honey wings and they had just the right amount of juice and kick! The Italian eggrolls were a treat. I never see these at pizzerias, so this was definitely a unique offering. This is the perfect appetizer to snack on or cater for an event. It really had that perfect crunch. And if you're still not impressed, just wait until you try the smash burgers! Tucked away in the Quail Creek Shopping Center, Pan Pizza has a unique selection of pizzas and smash burgers. Brand: 7/10 I appreciate the minimalist logo that Pan Pizza has. It evokes the image of a pizza slice--pepperoni to be exact--easily discernible to the eye, and that neon-resembling font welcomes anyone who will read it. Inside, there really isn't that much that reflects the lively font. There were a few portraits on the wall, meant to reflect the Italian origin of the pizzeria along with the multicolored American flag meant to commemorate public servants of all kinds. Other than that, the interior of the pizzeria is pretty unassuming. Ambiance: 8/10 The establishment can only contain so many people with a few tables available either inside or outside. I initially thought that the section was the closet for cleaning products, but it turned out to be the restroom, which was a bit strange since restrooms tend to be sequestered away. Next to the counter, a large, flat screen television presents itself, but it does not blare out obnoxiously throughout the store. Weekdays tend to have a slow pace, and only until noon did more patrons start coming in, which helped me acclimate to the store's ambiance. Staff: 9/10 If you are looking for employment, they are patient and will politely inform you whether a job is available or not. I was hoping that when my order was taken, I didn't think I needed to clarify that I requested "crab fries," not "french fries." Nonetheless, my order did not disappoint me. Waiting Period: 10/10 The orders came quickly. I managed to get some writing down while waiting for them. No distractions intruded upon us. Food: 8/10 Pan Pizza offers a unique roster of pizzas (ranging from traditional to Buffalo Chicken to Trenton Style) and cauliflower flatbreads, strombolis, hot-dogs, Sammies, and smash burgers. I took the opportunity to try the pizza burger and french fries. This is a unique selection and I wanted to take advantage of such availability. While I do credit the pizza burger for its savory taste, I did think that the bacon base just like the french fries were too greasy to the point I needed to use two wads of napkins to wipe my hands. While the mozzarella cheese and the marinara sauce provided a unique, tolerable flavor combination, the flavor did not stay long. My personal pet peeve when it comes to burgers is when they do not have vegetables to accompany them, and the pizza burger would benefit from including an extra ingredient. The buns were fluffy and sturdy enough to hold these unique ingredients together without breaking apart. However, the french fries, filled to the brim, proved to fill me more than the pizza burger. They were well-seasoned with the right amount of crispiness. Since salt shakers were not available at the tables, the french fries were already salted. I appreciate this since they probably would need to save costs, and it would help anyone trying to maintain a health-conscious meal even with oily foods. Comes Together Well?: 7/10 While the aesthetics did not match too well and the food had an underwhelming quality, I nonetheless had a pleasant experience frequenting Pan Pizza. Pertaining to the pizza burger, if pepper or spinach can apply to regular pizza, then surely it might apply to the pizza burger as an extra ingredient? Another suggestion is that if Ramtown--or any of the surrounding areas of Howell Township--has its own artists, I would like to see what they can contribute to the walls of Pan Pizza. Rating: 8.17/10 Upon averaging out the scores, this is what I got. The overall rating does not shock me since I expected it to turn out like this. Just picked up a personal pie (meatball with ricotta). It was cooked perfectly and the crust was fantastic. The portion was perfect and more than enough for one. First of all the staff is amazing! The food is excellent! Pizza is good, smash burgers are amazing .The vodka chicken sandwich is to die for, everything about the sandwich is amazing especially the homemade bread. I have been recommending this place to everyone I talk to about food places . I highly recommend if you haven't tried it to please do yourself the favor & give them a try . Since me in my & my wife stumbled upon this place a few weeks b4 Christmas we have been there once a week .
