Delicious meal- we tried the khatchapuri megruli (cheese all over the top), the veal stew and the lamb stew. Everything was packed with flavor and well seasoned. Honey cake hit the spot if you have a sweet tooth. Try the Georgian lemonade (terragon and pear), they're interesting flavors if you haven't had Nataktari before. It's not 'lemonade' (no lemons). What a terrific find in Howell - meat centric, but absolutely delicious! The space is relatively small and tastefully decorated. This is a word of mouth place at this point and they need to get their name out there! Once again, our unofficial Yelp group decended upon a restaurant to enjoy our company, good wine and great food. the menu is extensive and our waitperson was happy to point us in the right direction. We started with a Georgian Salad with Walnuts that was incedible! Additionaly, we added Eggplant Rolls, chicken Mtsvadi, Pkhali Trio and Georgian Bread. What a way to start a meal! Entrees - Lamd Mtsvadi, Khinkali Lamb Tarragon, Khinkali Pork and Beef, Baked Trout and Veal Chakafuli (my entreeand I will go back for it again). Now we have to go to the restaurant to have some more entrees as everything we tried was delicious. Beef dumplings were savory and had good seasoning. Chicken mtsvadi was very satisfying, especially the plum sauce that came with it. They have a variety of cheese breads and it was hard to pick one. Must try them all now. We also had the honey cake for dessert. It had a refreshing texture that set it apart for a typical dessert. Most restaurants I go to cannot do takeout well but the Georgian chef handled it nicely. This is an excellent new restaurant, bringing brilliant recipes and flavors from a region that I had only seen available in the City. It's family run, maintaining that gracious feel, while being tastefully decorated, with dishes presented beautifully in upscale approach. I read the chef/owner had a Michelin rating in his other restaurant, and I would not be at all surprised if this one ends up on the list. I thought it was all very reasonably priced for the superior meal and service they've brought to the shore area. We'll be going back here repeatedly. read more

Went there tonight and it was better than I could have imagined it. Great atmosphere. The nicest people. Our waiter could not have been more helpful. Everything was just perfect. The music too and I don't speak a word of Georgian. The food was unbelievably good. Everything about this place is great. The portions are pretty huge too. This is a must-try. I can't believe that we have a place like this in Howell. This is as authentic as it gets and so delicious. Only two choices on the dessert menu but both are out of this world amazing. The bread, mineral water, meat dishes, dumplings, salads, and even tea were better than anything I had in a long time. I am not sure if I am overly excited right now, but this could be one of the top restaurants in New Jersey.
