The food was "meh" for the price. Coffee was OK. As a concept I think it's more interesting as a wine/beer/cheese afternoon sort of place.

I drive by this place everyday and today I decided to stop. You could miss it if you blink but I dipped into the back parking lot and much to my surprise is the cutest little coffee shop. They have fresh baked treats and they sell local items like candles and jewelry. The service provided is amazing. The Barista was knowledgeable of any item I asked about and easily recommended a drink for me. You can get your baked goods warmed and most drinks can be served hot or cold. I loved the silence when I walked in. I did start to hear faint holiday music in the background but it was not loud at all. They even have a cute outdoor area for groups or those who are more for chatting. I'll definitely be back. It was so affordable and close to home. My new neighborhood coffee stop. read more

This is a terrific little gem. I've drive past it a hundred times, and finally decided to stop in. Best decision. The coffee is strong and very good (not burnt, cough Starbucks cough). The pastry - an almond roll - was tasty, just the right texture, and liberal with almond slices. The service was great, too - welcoming and cheerful without being invasive. The chairs are SO COMFORTABLE. This really surprised me. Coffee shops don't usually have chairs this comfy. Plenty of space, outlets, natural light. Quiet, too - no music blasting. Unfortunately this just missed the mark in all areas. The decor looks to be from Ross, and when you go to a coffee shop, you don't need to see 'Live Laugh Coffee' in signage all over the walls. The fridge looked 20% stocked, the pastry fridge looked lackluster and like the items were a few days old. We ordered a latte and an iced matcha. The matcha was warm and lacking any depth of flavor. Not sure how this is still in business. Needs a complete overhaul or new management. read more

I really enjoy Drinkle but it depends who is working. There is a barista who heavily burns the coffee every time. Otherwise I love it! Great flavors and delicious pastries!! Cute, complete coffee shop tucked in a residential area. For what it is, I'm surprised there weren't more people when we went. They have a huge selection of drinks which is very impressive. I got the white chocolate cinnamon chai latte. Almond milk was only $.20 extra! It definitely tasted like a Christmas drink, but unfortunately I couldn't finish it because it was too sweet. I also got their banana bread which was solid. They have a lot of options for pastries, which are all around $5 each. My one qualm is that they automatically added 10% tip to my bill and didn't tell me about it before swiping my credit card. There are some tables inside, but even more on the front patio and the side patio (both covered). Great place to get work done as it's quiet. There are about 10 parking spots in the lot on the side. Such a cute spot tucked away with a surprising amount of outdoor seating! (And it's outdoor seating with pretty nice tables and chairs!) I can imagine it would be really nice to be outside here during the spring or fall but as for summer, it's way too hot right now. The drinks definitely run on the sweeter side, so my initial reaction was one of surprise. But I quickly got used to it and enjoyed my drink. Perhaps next time, I would ask them to dial down the sweetness a bit, because my drink ended up tasting more like sugar and the matcha flavor wasn't as prevalent. I also tried the Samosa puff and yummm it was so good. They offer to heat up pastries when you order them so it was nice and warm and soft and the puff was so buttery and flaky. And they have a good amount of other savory options too which I love. Actually they just have a lot of options in general whether that be drinks, savory goods, or sweet goods. This is also a really nice place to get some work done. It doesn't get too busy in the afternoon and almost all of the indoor seating has easy access to an outlet. read more

I wanted to try out a new coffee shop near me and saw this place pop up on Google Maps. This is a neighborhood coffee shop with no other retail businesses nearby. It's tucked away a bit behind the Great Oaks Townhomes community. We ordered a cappuccino with oat milk, zucchini bread, and a pecan pie bar. The barista offered to warm up the food, which we appreciated. We chose to sit outside on the deck since it was a nice day. The cappuccino was okay; the oat milk overpowers the espresso beans and didn't really allow the taste of coffee to come out. The zucchini bread was good! The bread was still moist even at 3pm when we ordered. The pecan pie bar was delicious as well! We didn't think the bar was too sweet, and it had a good balance of chewy to crunchy ratio. This place has a nice ambiance and was really quiet. There was ample space inside with huge windows to really take advantage of the natural light that shines in. The deck has two areas, one in the front with bar stools and one in the back with chairs and tables. We noticed that there were outlets as well so it may be a good spot to work remotely if you're able to do so. All in all, 5 stars for everything except for the coffee, which I would rate 3/5. They had specialty lattes available as well, but we didn't get any this time. We'll be back to try out other menu items! read more

I've been to this neighborhood cafe twice and both times I have left feeling "meh!". Here are the reasons for it: 1. Lack of vegetarian options in their food menu. 2. Baristas are slow... very slow and disregard people waiting in line. Really bad customer service! 3. Coffee is good, not excellent, just good, but prices are very high. 4. Location is a bit odd, parking is very limited. On the good side, the outside tables are nice. Overall I recommend this place but just if you are not in a rush and you are not concerned about prices. read more

This coffee shop was bought from the previous owner and remodeled. It is beautiful inside and out. The coffee choices are good as well. Great hours and a very nice pastry selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is clean and organized. Additionally, the location is good since there aren't any other coffee shops in the area. I like it because it gives me a chance to take a break on one of my 8 or 9 mile hikes! read more

Coffee was lukewarm, disappointing. It's a very quaint little place and I've driven past for months now always wanting to try and finally took the turn in. Good options and pricing seems standard. When I first took a sip of my latte I was being conservative expecting it to be typical coffee shop hot, I actually thought they accidentally put extra foam at the top it was so room temperature. Tipped it a bit more only to realize that was the actual latte temperature. I unfortunately won't be returning. I'm sure they make iced coffees better.... read more

A very cute coffee shop on O'Connor Drive @Brushy Creek. We stopped by in a late afternoon and loved the chill vibe! They have a private parking lot right next to the shop and there's a cute outdoor seating spot next to the entrance. I was recommended to order the honey lavender bun and it was absolutely yummy and I definitely recommend! I also ordered a lavender latte to pair with my pastry and the coffee was good too (they use Cuvée beans). Next time I'd like to come back to try other pastries. They have so many options for pastries and latte/frappe flavors. Service was just ok. read more

Drinkle Coffee is now open in the Brushy Creek area. This small neighborhood shop comes with some changes from it's previous incarnation as Brushy Creek Cafe. Not all of the changes are for the better. During its sabbatical, the shop has undergone a lovely cosmetic renovation with cozier lighting and nifty tilework. Outside spaces are spruced up, resulting in cozy patio spaces. Drinkle has a great pastry and baked good program with a good variety of nice looking pastries on offer. On the negative side, the coffee situation is not great. Drinkle has gone with Cuvee Roasting coffee beans, which can be good. Drinkle is now using a "super automatic" machine instead of having a trained barista prepare the drinks. My normal order of a strong 'quad shot latte' has been just barely drinkable. The espresso is bitter and unpleasant. It is worse than any of the other shops in the area, and some of the worst I have had in a long while. I strongly advise ownership to put as much care into the quality of the espresso as they did in the tiling and decor. I love coffee and I have espresso every day. I wish Drinkle success in its grand opening, but this shop is not recommended until the quality of the coffee improves. read more

Why would you have wine on the menu and not have a wine opener? Not once but twice? The first time they managed to call someone and they brought a wine opener from their home (it took time). The second time after looking everywhere (it also took time) a young lady said they are not doing wine right now. After asking why turned out the same reason - no wine opener. Lately it has been a bit cold in the main area. The mini split is always set to 72 and constantly blows and the employees are not able to change it. so bring an extra sweater. I haven't been too thrilled with most of the barista's here. One in particular doesn't know how to really make coffee. Not a barista. thinks that just by adding shots of espresso and milk together thats a cortado. That is NOT a cortado. I take 3 sips and im done. Sometimes they don't have regular fresh shipments of bakery items so you may get old ones. This happened when they ran out of items for about 2-3 weeks. This place is quiet though lots of good seating to work remotely which is why I come here. Great outdoor space. Nice natural light, ample parking. The employees tend to just sit on their phones or talk to people instead of doing work around the facility like cleaning up, sweeping, tending to the bathroom etc. I'd recommend you come when the barista you like is working. Otherwise it's mediocre coffee, in a great quiet workspace. read more

Zero stars!!! I used to stop by this place but after today, never more. I went with my daughters and I tried to order a coffee, but the waitress was very busy cleaning the counter top and ignoring us. She was completely careless and sprayed cleaner into my (young) daughter's eyes which were at countertop level. I had to go very fast to the bath room and put water to my daughter's eyes...
