So disappointed :( My boyfriend & I ate at this place while visiting Wilmington & being vegan, I was so excited to come across this place but wow we definitely had a bad experience. We waited 10-15 minutes before we were even greeted. We ordered the spinach & artichoke dip which wasn't bad. I ordered the Carolina Burger- which came out wrong (side & all). It was remade pretty quickly but it was honestly not even good. The "chilli" didn't even taste like chilli but the side of greens were good. My boyfriend ordered the Trash Burger which he did enjoy but it came out without the fried onions. Overall, food was ok, service was not good (our server was nice tho). read more

Five stars for the cauliflower wings with raspberry sauce! I am not strictly vegan, but have been there 3 times with my vegan friends. Now I request it - specifically for the cauliflower wings! Next time I'll order two - one for a MEAL in-house, and one to bring home for 3 lunches later! I am eating leftovers of it right now, warmed up in my convection oven/air fryer. YUM. Got the Trash Burger. It was good but it wasn't as good as it sounded. The lentil patty tasted similar to the Beyond burgers. We asked for cheese fries, as in fries with cheese added on, and were brought chili cheese fries. They were 3x more chili than cheese, and it had a very average chili-taste. Servers were very polite, just a small misunderstanding with our order. Was very pricey though, and seemed like we were still charged for the chili cheese fries despite not actually ordering them or eating them. The sitting area had definite brewery vibes, seemed like the perfect place older, vegan hippies. Saw mostly older people around. read more

As a part-time vegetarian and cheese and butter lover, I wasn't sure I would like the food here, but so far, it's been pretty great. I've eaten here a few times and, for the most part, have loved everything I've eaten. The one thing I didn't like wasn't even because it was vegan. They were gluten-free noodles and I hated them. But to be fair I've only had a handful of gluten free things and they were all awful. Accidently bought gf girl scout cookies once and hated them. Anyway, I got off track...today I had brunch here for the first time and couldn't imagine brunch without eggs, butter, cream, etc. But somehow this place delivered a delicious breakfast meal while being vegan. I ordered the biscuits and gravey, and it was awesome! I'd never guess it was vegan. It was a little under seasoned, but I added a tiny bit of salt and it was perfect. And honestly, I'd rather food be under salted where I can fix it myself instead of over salted and inedible. Such a great spot here in Wilmington! It's a hidden gem filled with so much kombucha. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner who immediately began offering samples of the kombucha. We were able to try apple pie, blueberry lavender, honey pot, strawberry kiwi, passion berry, and cranberry ginger beer. It was so much fun to try all the flavors and taste the different nodes of sweet vs sour. My favorite was the cranberry ginger beer. It's super sweet so I think that's why I went for it. I also really liked the blueberry lavender- slightly sweet but very refreshing. The ordering sizes vary from 16oz or 32oz which also in growlers. The space is rather small but they are expanding and will be moving in mid January which is super exciting. Also, you can find many of the flavors in different stores or restaurants. Never in my life have I ever heard of a kambucha brewery. Kambucha is such a new thing to me, I'm not a fan.. but also I don't know anything about the stuff other than its cleansing and possible a super food? let me know.. Anyways my boyfriends friend brought us to panacea brewing. I had no idea what to expect being a kambucha virgin, but they have food and we wanted brunch. The brewery its self is very quirky, pretty big indoor area, and outdoor seating. The inside has sort of a coffee shop feel but by its physical appearence it looks like it used to be a Mellow Mushroom. We ordered flights of all of the kambuchas, and we all ordered the breakfast burrito. I've never been so into vegan food without knowing I was eating vegan food. The food was awesome and not I have a place to reccomend to vegan pals. As for the kambuchas- they were all different and apple cider vinegary tasting. The only one I'd probably buy was the ginger one-not sure what its called. Overall nice place, fun atmosphere, and friendly staff. I'm not completely sure what kambucha is still but after trying all of those different types I could've sworn I was hallucinating the rest of the day. Is kambucha brewed with the magic mushrooms? This morning I was walking through the Farmers Market in downtown Wilmington and I was sweating. I mean, bullets. I love Kombucha so I was extremely excited to wearily stumble upon these vendors. The two flavors offered were Blueberry Lavender and Triple Berry Ginger. The gentlemen offered us samples but we were going for the full cups. My boyfriend had the triple berry and I had the blueberry. Both were delicious and refreshing. Prices were reasonable as well. If I lived closer I would have undoubtedly purchased a refillable bottle. Note: if you do purchase the bottle they give you a discount on the refill when you bring it back. I just left Panacea Brewing Company and OMG it was SOOOOO delicious. I got the knockout Kombucha, LOVE IT! And I got the Nashville Hot Fried Cauliflower on the most amazing bun with slaw and a side of pasta salad. Every single bite of this entire dish was perfect. I typically take pics to give a shout out but there was no time for that, I was too busy enjoying it all. The cauliflower had the perfect amount of crunch and spiciness. This was a really cute spot! They have both normal kombucha and stronger alcoholic- that's about 4% alcohol. They had a lot of great flavors. I got the blackberry elderberry and my husband got the stronger mango brew. They were both really good! The inside is tight but cute. Two small tables attached to the walls with 2 bar stools around each and there was a little room at the front counter. They did have a small mini fridge with canned/bottled items to buy, and multiple people came in while we there to refill glass growlers to take with them. The staff was so nice! Very friendly, helpful with recommendations and even gave us some dinner recommendations for while we are in town. Highly recommend checking it out. read more

Went here for a couple of months fairly regularly. The vegan nachos were amazing and salads are good... then they stopped making nachos - and just who gets rid of one of the most popular items on a menu??? - and the service just kept getting worse and worse. The quality of food went way down, items weren't even being made correctly and it was the same staff and cooks as always, and the waitress that we kept getting stuck with each time was at best an idiot and was obviously high as a kite every time we went. I don't know what she is taking, but it's very obvious that she is on drugs and inept. The staff is so busy standing around and talking about their inane personal lives that they don't seem to know anymore that they are actually at work. Waiting 30 minutes for a subpar salad??? NO! I'll start by saying that I am not vegan nor am accustomed to vegan food. The ambiance was very unique and a really cool experience. It's a very nice space and the service is great, everyone was extremely friendly. The hard kombucha was the best part, as I did not care too much for the food. I ordered the chili cheese fries and the vegan chili tasted like marinara sauce, the fries were burnt and there was barely any of the vegan mozzarella. This place is amazing! Even our non vegan loved it! Everything was fantastic but the trash burger stole my heart! The Nashville hot cauliflower will punch you in the mouth with spice and flavor. Nachos and cheese fries are great, their cheese is creamy and delicious, with no funky aftertaste. Also, I normally don't drink kombucha because of the sour bite but we tried the peach ginger out of the tap and it was the best kombucha I have ever tasted. As for those who complain about slow service....first, the food is totally worth it. Fun fun place. The owners hired great staff. Place is crazy busy right now because it's the new kid in town for food anyway. The Booch Bus has been a staple in town for awhile. Never was a fan of kombucha until I tried this company. They are putting out great flavors and combinations. Now, they've taken the next step and opened up a restaurant (has great outdoor seating too) and they are bringing outstanding vegan food. Place is on the noisy side but everyone is having a great time. The decor is very fun and everyone is busy taking pics. Expect a little wait for food but sip your kombucha while waiting. I am gluten free, dairy free and soy free. I eat organic, real whole foods. I don't put chemicals or sugars in my body. Unfortunately 99% of the dessert has cane sugar in it and all of the burgers are made from impossible meat. I was hoping they had a bean burger or a burger that was made from food so I was a bit disappointed. If you can eat gluten and impossible meat and cane sugar then I highly recommend this place.
