I've been going to this location since it opened. I was a very regular customer. Always happy with the quality of work and service, except the last four years. Something happened‍. Customer service is horrible!! Went to my regularly scheduled appointment today, always having to schedule two appointments ahead. Found out my hair technician no longer works there. Apparently she has been gone for a while. This is not the first time this has happened that an appointment has been cancelled without telling me. I had to stop doing mani/pedis there because the turnaround for techs was so bad. They couldn't keep an appointment. But I was never told until I went in for the appointment. No one has ever offered a decent apology. I don't want coffee, tea or water! I just want to treated like my business matters. Re DeAnna: There are no records on my phone of panache calling me. My voicemail is never full. Your reply just proves to me, if not anyone else that your customer service is garbage. You will charge me automatically if I do not show for an appointment, but I get this if my appointment is not honored by you? Veronica is the only reason I stayed with Panache. I had a really disappointing experience at Panache Hair Salon with Haylee. I booked my appointment a month and a half in advance, made sure to explain all the details to the front desk, and confirmed that I was going from dark to medium brown. On the day of the appointment, after taking off work and rearranging my schedule (which isn't easy as a single mom), I was told they couldn't do my hair because they didn't book the correct appointment type. What made it worse is that there was no attempt to make it right. No complimentary service was offered, and they didn't seem to value my time at all. The best they could do was book me out another month and a half, which is ridiculous considering I had already waited that long, and my roots were clearly growing out. It was very unprofessional of the salon not to take responsibility for their mistake, especially when I had been so clear about my needs. Nothing was my fault in this situation, yet they treated it like it was just a minor inconvenience. My mom has also been a client here for haircuts, but after hearing what happened, she'll be canceling her appointments as well. Haylee has lost two loyal customers because of how poorly this was handled. I expected better from a professional salon. read more

Not usually a slow learner, but I gave this salon three tries, probably one more than was deserved, given Yelp reviews were glowing and so I figured it 'must be me'. But three visits for hair cut and color, each costing as much as $160 total, and with increasingly poor results for the cut, woeful is how I would describe the strike-out event. As much as I am 'outta there' I thought I should post a review, as difficult as it is to be the contrarian among others of 5 stars, to say this wasn't so for me. And it wasn't just the cut being increasingly poor but that I felt in some way I was keeping the stylist from other things on my second visit when she kept checking her watch as she did the cut. On the third visit, I waited while she finished having her make up done and then she took another client to recut the back of her hair while I was in the next chair. Not to sound superficial when I say the following, because Heaven knows we have bigger problems in the world, but at those prices I don't expect to be treated as if...well...second class comes to mind. I'm a pretty 'low maintenance' type, but this was beyond unsatisfactory all around. Color work was good though. Salon was comfortable enough, if sort of awkwardly arranged for the hair side of it. I realize experiences are all tied to the stylist in salons like this one and sadly it seems I drew the short straw. I didn't use the Day Spa services to speak to that. (Note: For Eagle based Day Spa it's hard to beat the services at Two Rivers.) It seems this salon is set up to sell Aveda product at the front to the greatest extent possible. I like Aveda product and use it, but I also found this stylist really couldn't recommend or explain the products. (If you need to know about them, the women working at the Aveda retail store in the Boise mall are a wealth of information and their recommendations have always been really good ones.) And here's the kicker for lack of customer focus. After each visit there is a customer satisfaction survey emailed out. After my last visit I rated the satisfaction low and in comments described the haircut and experience as woeful. I received a reply from the salon thanking me for completing the survey and with a $5 gift certificate to apply to my next Aveda purchase. They must be kidding. read more

The girls who answered the phone were giggling and said "panache eagle hold please" and I have now bee on hold for over 20 minutes. All I wanted was to check if I could get in for a massage. I made an appointment with Hannah at the Eagle location for a facial. The whole experience was wonderful. The salon is beautiful, busy and full of the nicest people. Hannah took me back to her room, explained what she was going to do (60 minute dermaplane) and checked in with me throughout the treatment. My face was so moisturized, plump and felt better than it had in years. In fact, after I left, I received numerous complements that my face was absolutely glowing. It felt as good as it looked. I highly recommend making an appointment. She truly is a gem and I can't wait to get back in later this month. read more

I was really looking forward to my appointment which was supposed to be in 3 days, as I will be traveling for the holidays. I called today and am disappointed that I happen to find out that I don't have an appointment on their calendar any longer. Apparently my stylist quit over 2 weeks ago and no one notified me. This review is for the Meridian location at the Village. I'll preface this by saying that I have been to Aveda salons all over the country and have received some great haircuts from them. I've been to Panache twice and the 2nd time I got quite possibly the worst haircut of my life. I went back the following day to allow the barber an opportunity to make it right and she wouldn't. I took pictures just to document because it's seriously that bad. This is not in keeping with Aveda's standards and there's no way this barbering team will be successful. This is the second time I've tried to make a purchase of shampoo and they can't seem to get their computers going to ring me up. I purchased a membership because they said you get an automatic discount on products and services and earn points. After waiting for about 15-20 min while the gal tried to figure out how to ring me up, I asked how much the discount was for being a member and she had no idea what I was talking about. She said "a discount for what?" At that point I'd had enough of her wasting my time so I left. I think I'll just get my shampoo at Sephora. I've also had my hair done there but evidently they only do balleage color which takes 5 hours in a chair and they charge jose ebar prices without Jose ebar results. Bubeye. read more

This review describes my experience at the Panache salon in Meridian, Idaho. Thankfully, I never made it to the stylist. My experience with the front desk reception person was enough! She was a dour-faced woman with long black hair and overly black-lined eyes, in her fifties (more or less). I had several questions up front and her behavior was rude and borderline unprofessional. She behaved as if I had no right asking the questions and she was doing ME a favor by taking my money for highlighting services. No thank you! Visited Panache for the first time today. It was the Eagle location and for a manicure. Receptionist was friendly, service was prompt and hospitality offered and delicious. On the nails... It was not a quick fix. They were in terrible shape due to the work I do and it had been a while since I'd had them fixed. Debbie did poly-gel on them and took the time to get them PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL. I was anxious about going because I didn't want to add insult to injury...very short, thin brittle nails. Nails are now beautiful. long and strong. I would highly recommend this lovely salon and plan to take advantage of some of their other services. read more

Disappointing. I had a pedicure at Panache at the Village. When I scheduled the person on the phone was somewhat curt with me when I asked about who would be there that day and pretty much indicated no choice. I scheduled anyway as I have had two good experiences there so thought no big deal. Upon arriving for the pedicure my technician seemed aloof, she hurt one of my toes and after putting on the mask she left me sitting in the chair while she cleaned the finger nail area and straightened the spa for about 10 minutes then she left the nail area completely for quite awhile. It seemed pretty obvious she did not want to be there today. As I said, I have had good experiences at Panache until today and am now reluctant to return. read more

Panache in Eagle is one of the nicer Day Spa's in the Valley. Their customer service is spot on from the time you arrive by the front desk folks to the person who is providing your service. I just had a haircut by Mindy and it was great, she is a talented stylist and most importantly a kind person. Called to make an appointment with a perm specialist. I have been getting perms for years from the a stylist where I used to live. I had a terrible experience. When she took the rollers out she combed through my hair with a narrow toothed comb. A huge faux pas. Now my hair is frizzy etc. Ugh. I was quickly led to the stylist's chair and she gave me a few recommendations for what we could do to my hair.
