We were truly amazed at the selection of this place on a Saturday evening. Tons to choose from, and it was a difficult decision. It's self service so there's no rush to decide. Take your tray to the counter to pay and enjoy! Everything tasted great. I can't wait to go back.

Tres leches cake

Be aware of their tres leches cake. They say that all that are being displayed are tres leches but those are just normal cakes that you better buy in Kroger . There is no tres leches layer in the cake at all

Bread, concha, chocolate dipped folded pastry, cheese danish, spiral custard filled pastry

We really enjoyed stopping by this bakery!! They had a huge variety of breads and sweet treats, you basically get a tray and some tongs and collect which ones you want and they bag it up for you at the front. It was super good prices as well, all the stuff we got was seven dollars. We really enjoyed the folded chocolate dipped item - it was crispy and layered and crumbly and different than most desserts. I wish they had more chocolate items in general. I also really loved the spiral custard thing. They have conchas, jelly filled desserts, donuts, regular bread like sub rolls, muffins, folded pastries, etc. I can't wait to try the cream cheese danish we got too!

Every single thing is so very tasty!! It's hard to decide what to get. Excellent service, too!

The cake has for icing than cake, one side of the cake was uneven and very thin and was fillies in with icing to even it out!!!

Awesome bakery. Very friendly staff. Seems like its family owned and operated. Very reasonable prices. And an awesome variety of pastries.

My mom and I needed a place to kill some time before the nearby art fair started, and this coffee…read moreshop was a great spot for that. It was spacious and there's a ton of cozy seating options, each still with a little side table, as well as several standard tables. I love that in a coffee shop. I ordered a vanilla latte and a bagel and my mom got a smoothie. All the baked goods looked delicious. While we enjoyed our visit, there were a few things that would have made it better. I didn't see the seasonal menu until after I ordered, because it seemed way of to the side. I wasn't given a plate or napkin for my bagel and it was a little hard to get someone's attention to ask where to find napkins (up by the register). It would've been great if they'd asked whether we wanted our items for here or to go. The restroom was out of toilet tissue, and when I tried to tell a staff member, they were wearing headphones so they couldn't hear me. I had to go find another to let them know. Some of the seating was quite messy and wasn't cleaned up in the amount of time we were there.

Staff was super friendly! Air conditioning, spartan seating, clean bathroom all good, but I LOVED…read morethat they had numerous quality iced tea options and the cupcakes were not only delish, but moist and with enough icing. I will be back next time I'm in Columbus!

I unfortunately didn't have the best experience here however, the atmosphere was so warm and cozy…read moreand I love the location. I ordered a grilled cheese along with a sugar pie slice and a London fog. They have other baked good options which looked good too. The grilled cheese was very small and I think cheese got into the pan because it was also cooked onto the bottom side of the sandwich. It was a very small grilled cheese. The London fog tasted quite strong and the sugar pie didn't really stand out. There were other items on the menu though that I'd love to try if I ever go back. What I think took this down to 3 stars was the service. When I went to order, I was just stared at and I thought maybe they weren't ready for me yet but they were. There was just no greeting of "Hi, welcome in" or even a "What can I get for you?" It was just a stare and silence. Now the staff were not unkind...they certainly seemed friendly but that lack of greeting didn't feel great. Additionally, they were very quiet or mumbled when calling out orders and so it seemed like many people listening never heard their order including me. I also had to ask again for the pie after having paid. I bought a bandana as well and didn't see the price tag. When I asked how much it was the staff member said it was either 12 or 15 dollars. She rang it up as 15 when later I saw the price tag and it clearly said $12. I showed the staff member and she said it was $15 and it was a handwriting issue for the price tag. I rarely write reviews less than five stars but I do think if there could be a bit more initiative from the staff and orders called out more clearly and louder for drinks so they don't spoil that would really help.

I ordered a butterbeer latte, then noticed some winter menu flavors so I'm definitely going back for those. In fact, they won the summer "Taco Tour" the past 2 years in a row. So, we visited this past month (Dec. 2019) to check it out. The al pastor (marinated pork) taco was terrific with excellent seasoning, juicy meat and freshly-made corn tortillas (2 of course per taco). They serve the tacos with a couple of different salsas, but we enjoyed the salsa verde ordered special with our house-made tortilla chips for the starter. The chicken and steak tacos were pretty good as well, but if you eat pork, certainly order the al pastor one. The place is also a bakery, but we didn't sample any of those items. They don't have fountain drinks (so, pop or water in a can / bottle). They only have 3 - 4 tables (booths) as the place is really small. Prices were typical for the area. We visited when it was about 30 degrees outside and the place wasn't warm enough for my liking. We kept our coats on. Excellent parking in a residential neighborhood (behind "Donuts & Coffee" off State St.), and the staff were quite friendly and offered good service. I don't know if I'll dine in again, but I will certainly get "to go" orders of pork tacos (and likely other items) in the future.
