I wish they would have had a bigger selection of bread but we had Guatemalan qupiletes y pan fresco with café con leche y atol de maiz that was superb! We ate tamales de puerco as well. Very moist and fresh and the salsa on the side was like one I have never tried before, not spiced just very tasty and addictive.

Whenever I'm remotely in the…read morearea, which unfortunately is not all that often, I try to make a point to stop here to pick up a pie. This place is THE best pie shop in the area. The pie crust is always perfectly made, and the presentation of the pie is just beautiful. On this visit, I opted for the blueberry pie, which I have never had from Upper Crust. The blueberries were so fresh, and the pie was packed with them. It wasn't too sweet and, of course, paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream from home. The woman behind the counter was helpful in leading me to this most perfect choice. The bakery is just that. There are no tables or chairs to dine inside or outside. The bakery is simply a place to pick up your pie treasure and take home.

I've attempted to order a strawberry pie in the past but this was the first time I was successful. Apparently, they're now marketing this so hopefully we can make this a tradition. I ordered and paid for the pie a couple of weeks prior to pick-up day over the telephone. A coworker picked up the pie when scheduled and it was beautiful. Moreover, it was delicious and everyone including the birthday guy enjoyed their slice. In fact, we enjoyed round 2 with the leftover pie a few days later. Unfortunately, we failed to photograph the pie. Visualize a mounting heap of glazed berries in a pie crust with a beautiful trim of whip cream. I would absolutely order from Upper Crust Bakery again and recommend you do too.

We waited a bit and were able to get a parking space. Once inside, the first thing you see are the cases of amazing baked goods. They had a really good selection of mini pastries and I chose a chocolate eclair. The pastry was light and airy, a perfect contrast to the sweet cream filling and chocolate topping. My husband got the elephant's ear, which he said was light and flaky. We each got bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, mine on a fabulous, sweet, and large croissant. Oh, so good! The egg was thin and folded, just enough crispy bacon, and a slice of white American cheese. I was a big fan of this sandwich! My husband had his on Cuban bread, and the sandwich was grilled. He loved it! They also do great coffee drinks! I give them an A+ for offering all their coffee drinks in decaf. I had a cafe con leche, which was rich and smooth. My husband had an iced cappuccino, which I have to get next time. They topped the drink with a pike of whipped cream. He drank every "last tasty bit," as he described it. In addition, the staff is very friendly, sweet, and helpful. We highly recommend Enzo's.

The ambiance was quaint and inviting. The bakery case is incredible, with a huge selection of pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats that make it hard to decide what to order. Seating is a bit limited both inside and outside, so I could see it filling up quickly during busy times. For breakfast, we started with the bacon, egg, and cheese croissants, and they were outstanding. The croissants were buttery, flaky, and had just a subtle hint of sweetness that made them even better. I paired mine with a perfectly made cortadito, which was the ideal complement to breakfast. Even though we were already full, we couldn't leave without trying dessert. We ordered a slice of cake that was a combination of flan and tres leches (I wish I could remember the name). It was so rich, creamy, and delicious that I had to force myself to share. After seeing all the Latin-style sandwiches coming out of the kitchen, I already know what I'm ordering on my next visit. If you're looking for an excellent breakfast, authentic baked goods, and great coffee, Enzo's Cafe & Bakery is absolutely worth a visit.
