Underrated is the best way to describe this place. Most people drive by Jupiter and see older retail outlets and assume there's nothing worth stopping by for but this place (and casa Linda taqueria) is authentic Mexican cuisine. Tres leches cake is actually top 3 in all of Plano and arguably top 5 in Dallas. Donuts and pastries are made fresh daily and different from your French or Asian style pastry food you often find in Plano / north Dallas. read more

Was not a fan of the service. Several times one of the ladies needed to get by and she could have been way more polite given it's a customer, lastly she ended up taking bread away from my tray saying that it was reserved so she grabbed the prongs and took the conchas, granted these were conchas not some fancy cake. I don't know if it was that that rubbed me the wrong way or just her coming across as blunt, once again this is supposed to be an establishment that should care about customers, there's ways to handle things. This place is a hidden gem! I'm so glad I found this place. I was looking for a place to get dessert and stumbled across this business. They have dozens and dozens of things to choose from. I got two different types of tres leches, cheese cake, an item similar to a danish, a cookie, a donut, a concha, and a churro for just $7 and some cents. Wow. Wowwwww. I've been driving past this store for months, smelling baked goods scents through my open car window, and wondering why so many cars are pulling into the parking lot. Now I know. Shelves and shelves of baked goods line up around the walls, displaying a great variety of pastries and desserts. AND CHURROS. (Literally the only thing I recognized but soon, that will change.) Picked up a tray and tongs at the counter and you can help yourself to any and all that you would like. Pay at the counter and you'll be all set! $5 credit card minimum. I picked up three pastries and two churros - my total? $4. Dang. I only have good things to say about my first visit, but only four stars because I question the freshness of all the goods. Obviously, I would recommend coming in during the morning but since this place seems to still be open at 8 PM, I wouldn't be confident that everything is freshly baked. read more

Super busy little place a hole in the wall Mexican sweet bread (pan dulce). Went in on a Tuesday afternoon. They had so much fresh straight out the oven sweet bread out. I'm giving it a 2 only due to the young lady cashier was sneezing she just turn your face away to the side, and she was the one bagging the sweet bread. The germs of her sneeze just went all over the bakery. She should be wearing a mask over her mouth if she's sick or having bad allergies. I was just grossed out. read more

Considering I've been use to only getting my baked goods from Fiesta or El Rancho, this place is a real treat. Tucked inside of a run down shopping center, I decided to give it a try. Their breads are baked with craft, delicately flaky, and it's the right amount of subtle sweetness. Their tres Leche cake is damn good. It's equal, if not better than Fiesta's tres leche, which I've always found delectably sweet, moist, and creamy. This was no different. I love that they offer slices along with whole cakes. They let half the cake slice sit in sweetened condensed milk. This turned out being great, cause I could take the non soaked top half and dunk in the pool of milk below. The raspberry jam they add on top is the only thing that did distract at times. It felt like concentrated sugar, making me teeth hurt on cox tact. Otherwise, I'm drooling thinking about that cake. Oh my gwad! Delicious!!! I kinda wish I didn't know it was so close to my house. I woke up this morning thinking maybe I should go grab me some more pastry goodness! My girlfriend and I wanted something sweet after having some sushi right up the street. It was just about a 2 min walk to it so off we went. Open the door and WOW. The smell was amazing and everything we ate was fantastic! You pick up a big silver round tray and some large tongs and just walk around filling your tray up. I have no idea what the heck we got. Nothing is labeled. The lady who checked us out spoke no English. This is some straight up authentic Mexican desserts. We got a slice of cake and 3 different pastries for only 4 bucks. Now that's an amazing deal. There was probably 30 different pastries to choose from at that time ( and we were there an hour before closing ) so I will define be going back! read more

May 15, 2022. I am a tres leches cake buyer from here. Please DON'T buy a cake from here if you don't wanna waste your money just throwing in TRASH CAN. As soon as I eat the cake after 5 minutes I throw up so bad and I am worried if I get sick because of this. The cake is so dry and the foam oh my goodness I don't wanna say about how it felt. As soon as I took a bite, I make a phone call to the shop. The girl picked up my call she was very RUDE to me and seems like she is not wanting to help or feel sorry when I explain about the cake. I spent $35 on this cake and it is a waste of my money. When I ask if they can refund me the money they said you have to bring like brand new cake, we cannot refund because you already cut the piece of cake. I get it but how do we taste the cake without Cutting it? Did I bring the cake to put on the shelf as if like a library??? The customer is frustrated and they are so rude with their bad attitude that they don't wanna help instead they say we can't do anything all our cake is the same taste how come the cakes are tasty if this was tasty it would be in our belly not in the trash can. I try to ask for a refund for the cake and they said I need to talk to their owner. Hey, Owner if you are honest with your business I need you to call me at this number 580-235-5533 and help me otherwise if you are one of those then GUYS whoever are reading this you will experience bad. You will lose your money. If you see the picture and by reading this all if you really wanna go to this place and buy the Cake GOOD LUCK!! So I was dropping my sister off at her hair dresser and she points out this bakery she always wants to go to. I shrug it off until she says they have Spanish desserts and my body instantly turns my car into the parking lot. I get inside and look at the menu and I'm in heaven. Tres leches, churros, flan. We get two hunks of tres leches for $4 and are on our way. It was AMAZING. Very milky, very authentic. It's so good I'm headed back for a second time today sadly :( read more
