However, on a recent visit a male staff from Produce repeatedly reached over me and bumped into my scooter as he fawned over an ablebodied customer in line. He acted as if I were an object. No "Excuse me," nothing. When I spoke up, he mansplained how he has the right to do this and, "I'm sorry YOU feel THAT way." I told him he was physically hurting me, besides being rude. He continued to abuse me. The Human Rights Tribunal confirmed I have grounds for a disability discrimination case. An assistive device is legally part of a disabled person's body. What this employee did was assault. As well, the payment terminals have been moved so they are too high for disabled people to reach from wheelchairs. Thanks, but I can pay more reasonable prices for organics at regular grocery stores, and get treated as if I am human. As I said, I went to WF mainly for customer service. Not to have my human rights violated.

And to make matters worse, wilty old lettuce. This is a disaster, a sandwich disaster. Cheaping out on egg? Egg is not expensive. Why? Cheaping out on hummus? Why? Hummus is also cheap to buy and cheaper to make. The other sandwich was made with hummus or was supposed to be. It was soggy, with the smallest amount of hummus possible. There were tomato slices but when pulled out they were old and wrinkly. I'm old and wrinkly too but don't want that added to my sandwich. So Whole Foods, if you are listening, I'm not buying sandwiches from you again and if you're wondering where your customers are going, try building a better one, like you used to do. ,

The owner was very kind and took her order which took about 35 minutes for them to prepare. The highlights for me were the butter chicken samosas and their Jarred desserts which were delicious! Their packaging was great and everything that we ordered was exceptional, and they gave healthy portions. Wanted to ship a small package internationally. When I walked in, I was the only customer and…read morenoone got up to greet me for a good 5 minutes. Once they finally decided to serve me, they tried to charge me 170CDN when fedex website says 90. After informing them of the difference, they said it was ground shipping and told me to go to their domestic ground shipping office (makes no sense because I made the international part very clear). After I told them I already went there, and they don't ship internationally, they told me to go home and do everything online and then print. I asked them if I could do it at their "total delivery systems" customer service center. They said no. Then, lady in the back tried to tell me off and told me I had a bad attitude. Naturally, I left immediately to Canada post, asked all the same questions and got it sent out in 5minutes without fuss. In terms of serving non-commercial customers, their rates are 3 times the cost, with horrible customer service that even takes the time to insult their customers. I thought private companies were supposed to offer an advantage over the government services at their premium price, instead they did everything in their power to drive away customers.

Noticed I had been eating moldy bread that's expiry wasn't until the 9th. Called the store to ask about a refund as I had kept the receipt and it was only the 2nd. The lady on the phone said I could come in for a refund and she would let other staff know when I'd be by. I asked her if I needed to bring the moldy bread, she said nope. I went the next day to get my refund with the receipt. The cashiers did not want to refund me unless I had the bread with me to prove it. Clearly they had no idea I was coming by. LUCKILY I KEPT THE MOLDY BREAD and went back to my car to get it. When I brought it back they STILL refused to refund me. They told me to go exchange it for another. After eating moldy bread the last thing I want to eat is the same bread so I asked again for the money refunded and the cashier was literally ARGUING with me as if the cost of the bread came out of his own pocket. Unbelievable. He continued to refuse to refund me even though I had taken all steps requested to correctly receive a refund. I opted to just cash exchange it for a different item so that this man would stop arguing with me over a refund for MOLDY BREAD THAT I LITERALLY ATE AND SPENT MONEY ON THAT HAD NOT EVEN REACHED ITS EXPIRY BY DAYS. The audacity. Some of the worst customer service I have ever received anywhere.
