This place is A-OK! I've been coming here since it was Manny's Pancake House back in the 90s. They offer a full breakfast and lunch menu, not just pancakes. But I go for the pancakes. The offer a variety of pancakes: apple, banana, blueberry, etc. The blueberry pancakes have nice large blueberries mixed right into the batter. The bacon is served crispy--they'll ask how you'd like it! I'll be honest the pancakes themselves are not as good as Norm's or the Yorkshire Grill, or the California Grill. But it's close to home and it's still good nonetheless. They serve you this terrible margarine-like spread--ask for another type of butter (and they'll give it to you). The coffee is strong but tasty. The decor is what it is, a nice, very clean diner. The service is outstanding and friendly. The place has been there for DECADES! Well, worth a visit! read more

I live in the area and noticed it was always full so decided to pop in for breakfast. I called put my name on the list was called and when I showed up they had seated someone at the table I was going to get. They asked the people sitting to move. The restaurant was clean and they took my order pretty quickly. It took them 1 hour to sever me 2 pancakes 1 waffle and some bland hash browns. They had a lot of staff but it seems that the staff had no clue what they were doing, and just took too long. Nothing stood out to me about the location, nothing really memorable. I wouldn't come here again, stick to an ihop/Denny's it would probably be cheaper too. read more

I don't like giving bad reviews unless they're necessary. The food isn't bad but the place is unsanitary. I ordered for pick up one day and noticed the lady who took my payment method (cash) with her hands, grab my toast from the toaster and put it away with the rest of my to-go food, without washing her hands. She took payments while still preparing food at the same time, was touching the register, and servicing a man with coffee all in between. She seemed so normal about it as if there was nothing wrong with contaminating my food with her filthy hands. This is something they probably all do at the restaurant since no one seemed to mind what she was doing. I tried calling asking for the owner, but she was never around. Miriam you should be ashamed. Zero stars. Terrible food, nothing was fresh. I should have gone to McDonald's. The pancakes were dry and flavorless, sausages were dry and burnt, hash browns were not cooked all the way through and my daughter got food poisoning from a blueberry waffle. I love mom and pop shops and this one needs a serious overhaul. The boss pulled up in an Escalade dressed to the nines, maybe the $$$ should go to the business and staff. read more

I'm not sure why people have rated this restaurant so high. Pancake Corner is a small mom & pop's restaurant. The food was definitely not great. The eggs were oily and the yolk was an off-white color, and I'm assuming they just had very poor quality eggs. The Country Fried Steak was also oily and the meat was about 25% fat. My friend ordered a waffle, which tasted like greasy steak. It seemed like the food had remnance of food cooked from 20 years ago because the grill wasn't cleaned for 20 years. A couple good things: the waitress was very friendly and very good with service & most of the people who were there eating breakfast there seemed like regulars, so I don't worry that they'll lose business. The photo thats posted of the interior is not accurate either. They've renovated for the worse. Summary: Go there if you like greasy food. read more

Worst experience everrrr...... Could not decide where to go for a good pancake breakfast with my fam. So after a few reviews we decided to try it out. Small place, not to mention the service was horrible. They served an order of "Huevos Rancheros" and forgot to bring me tortillas!! So why even ask if I wanted "corn" or "flour"!! Haha.... I guess it was a joke!! Because after letting them know I was missing the order they still didn't bring me any.! Pancakes are super small n flavorless. French toast not the best in either..! So if your looking to have a good Mexican breakfast go to a good Mexican restaurant.... and for a pancake breakfast there's so many Restaurants that are worth every dollar.! Toms jr, Mr. Pete's and ofcourse IHOP are my #1 options...... sorry but for our 1st time being here. Definitely will be our last!!!! read more

The food was too salty :( and it took seriously 45 minutes for our food to come. My cousin ordered the chicken salad and the chicken was super chewy like beef jerky almost. The salad.... Wilted :( I got the biscuit and gravy with sausage.. Again... Super salty. We just stopped eating at that point. My bf ordered the pancakes and they were ok. I dig this place!! It's like eating at home ( and not just because the plates don't match). The food is good, the prices, and the waitresses are just friendly enough to have you crushing on them by the time they bring your bill, they're smoking in a way that Latinas can be smoking at any age. The outside advertising and the name caught my eye. When entering the restaurant was the opposite. The inside was very old and not maintained or remodeled in a long time. This place is the Mexican ihop which is kinda awesome. Makes the place different than others. I really like their salsa options. I ordered a veggie omelette with potatoes. I sat at the counter and they seemed to have a lot of regulars. I don't particularly care for the waitresses dress code. I'm here for the food!
