So my boyfriend and I finally tried this spot that we have always seen but never had the chance to stop in. Service was good. The waitresses are very friendly and welcoming. Gave me the feeling of walking into a family members house and everyone is talking and laughing. Good energy. Our waitress Rosie was awesome. She checked in on us regularly and talked to us. Food was good too. Pancakes are delicious. Nothing grand but I definitely would prefer coming here than going to IHOP. I do recommend bringing cash because they do have a surcharge of $1 for credit or debit. But not a huge deal. The place had a diner feel. When I sat do down I checked yelped and seen past reviews. If you are wondering the water cups are chipped but I feel it adds character. The window are clean and Are not nat infested. No chairs were taped from what I could see and I would say that the waitresses are very friendly and sweet. All I know is I'm going to come back. read more

I went here with my family for breakfast. It was really crowded but the wait was not too long. Our waitress was nice and cane to get our orders after we sat a few minutes. People that came in a sat and ordered after us were getting their food. The waitress would come by occasionally and apologize for the wait. After waiting about 45 minutes for our food it finally arrived. We a ate a little and then took it to go. The food was ok. read more

I am never coming to this place again. I know the establishment has an A, but I don't feel comfortable eating there. I saw a couple leave and when they cleaned off the table I notice they left the salsa bowl behind. For the people commenting on the "old school" feel. Seriously, get over it! You guys swear you guys lived in the 1950's. The restaurant needs a serious makeover. I am very tempted to suggest Restaurant Impossible to the owners. The couple times I've been there I've been so scared to use their restroom. It honestly looks like a restroom that would be at a gas station or mechanic shop. The restaurant itself is not very clean. I had to shoo flies away from my food. There is so much going on on the walls and windows. It totally needs a makeover. There's bible verses (don't have a problem with that), pictures of marilyn monroe and outdated kitten frames. The sodas are ridiculously expensive! The price is close to $3.00. It's like seriously, who do these people think they are. Service is not good at all!! The ladies that work there are not very attentive. They rather gossip with each other instead of servicing you. They almost make you feel like you're doing them a favor, so you're so afraid to ask them for anything. When they are really busy, one person cannot handle it. They should have someone at the register and more than one people servicing the people. Ok, and this is the reason why I decided to write a review in the first place. Upon my last visit, I encountered one of the waitresses dipping her finger on my salsa and licking it afterwards. Either to check the temperature or to check if it was still good. After doing that she quickly turned around to look if anyone was looking. I couldn't believe my eyes! She then continued to walk to our table and had the nerve to give me that salsa she had just dipped her finger on. I was speechless!! I usually don't complain, but this time I had to. Not sure if it was because it's Sunday and it was busy but it was a disgusting place. First of all when they sat us down we stayed there without a menu for at least 10 minutes. Not ONE waiter bothered to bring us one, we had to ask for them. We ordered and it took about 30-40 min to get our food. We tried to eat but it tasted horrible. We ate some of it and left everything else. Plus my pancakes were cold and hard. I tried to make them better with some of the old butter they had and some syrup I had to ask for but I think that just made it worse. That's when we decided to get up and ask for our total at the front because if we would have waited sitting it would have probably took another 10 min. read more

Bad service! Messed up our order, the waitresses never come around you have to go look for them for extra things you need. Once I went to ask for my extra pancakes they didn't give me any they gave me toast and refused to give my pancakes. Never again! read more

First time trying this place and , well , while i was ordering my food i could not hear the waitress correctly which caused her to basically scream at me . That left me in shock. Everytime id pass by this place I'd say "I have to try it" well finally my family and I did and I soo regret it. The food was horrible, the only decent thing must've been the toast... If that... Our waitress didn't even bring our drinks until after she brought out our food and even then she got my order wrong and it took her another 10 minutes just to get her attention and let her know. I had ordered a shake for my son and half way thru our meal nothing. I cancelled the shake and just went to the cashier to pay bcs she didn't even bring my check to the table. Place was full so i figure this place must be great. This place is a dump. Seats are taped up they gave us our drinks in old chipped cups they belong in the trash. Menu was plain nothing looked nice. We ordered French eggs bacon and paid extra for hash browns. They took forever.the food suck. It was plain and simple..food from a hamburger joint is better than this place and to top it they charge you $1 to pay with credit card. Will never return here. Horrible.... Horrible... Horrible.... My husband ordered the country steak fry breakfast plate, his steak was very chewy, tough & seemed like very old bad quality meet. I ordered the sausage, eggs & potatoes and unfortunately my sausages were served warm on the outside and cold on the inside with a horrible raw yet old taste to them. It was not eatable, we were never checked on until we requested service whether it was to get more coffee or to let them know about our meats. The server was kind enough to exchange my sausage for bacon & my husbands steak for a ham steak, again the quality in meets are just very poor but those 2 were eatable vs previous meats. To our surprise, for the quality of the food and service, each of our disgusting plates were over ten dollars each!! We could've done so much better at your reg IHOP or Denny's & had better quality food. I literally left gagging all the way home. I do NOT recommend & don't see how they are still in business. Looks are very deceiving as we thought this would be a really good diner like breakfast spot but boy were we wrong!! read more
