So, the food was actually delicious. Our party of 5 all ate here Oct. 2 for a late lunch. 4 of us had eggs and pancakes. Unfortunately all 4 of us throughout the night became sick. Two of us with the runs, two of us vomiting. I was struck with the worst stomach pain that had me lightheaded before I threw everything up. After I finished being sick I had to take my friend to the ER as she had been in pain for hours. So yall know that these small local spots (don't wanna call it a hole in the wall) usually have some good food right? Well fortunately that statement holds true in this case. You only need 2 things to please me; have good food and have good customer service and they nailed both. From the waitress to the lady at the register, the customer service was on point! I got the western omelet, bacon, fried potatoes and toast. The portion size was enough and you would've thought that they asked me how I wanted my bread toasted how perfect it came out. Lightly toasted with the perfect amount of butter spread across made me turn my omelet into an egg sandwich. Now let's get into this sticky bun French Toast that my wife ordered. I couldn't decide between a bunch of dishes, but then sadly the ones I wanted were not available. Shows how busy and popular they are I guess! Three of us went on a busy Sunday morning. We called ahead, glad we did as there was a wait. We only waited about 5 minutes. A bustling somewhat noisy place. We asked about the quiche and thought maybe it would be too much, but he decided he was still hungry and Nay brought him out a piece of ham and cheese quiche with a side salad. We were in the Lancaster area going to the outlets so we stopped here because it was on a list of best breakfast places in the area. It was crowded but we probably only had to wait like 15 minutes. When our table was ready they didn't show us to our table, just pointed to a table in the middle of the room. It was kind of hard to get to with everyone's chairs pushed out. The waitress comes over and doesn't even greet us, just asks us what we want to drink before we even have the menus in our hands. She quickly opens the menu to the back and points at the drinks. I felt rushed and just ordered the cappuccino. She came back in like a couple minutes to take our food order and I wasn't ready yet so we said we needed more time. I wanted to get one of the specials originally but I figured I should get pancakes since it's in the name. I wanted the chocolate peanut butter pancakes they had yesterday but today it was pumpkin and I wasn't in the mood cause pumpkin season is over. My husband and I both ordered the combo with pancakes, eggs, and sausage. The pancakes were kind of dry and bland, and the eggs were dry and flat. The sausage was the best part of the meal, it was juicy and had some nice flavor. The locals definitely got better service than us. The waitresses were more friendly with them and they sat down after us but got their food before us. The place should be called pancake factory instead of pancake farm, they want to get you in and out as fast as they can. The food was just ok but nothing special.
