While staying in Branson we saw Pancho Villas on Trip Advisor with good ratings and decided to give it a try. To be honest the service was average and the food was also average. If I lived in Branson I probably wouldn't return The price was what was expected.

We arrived at about 8pm. It wasn't crowded at this time of night. Later than we normally eat. Lizzy is our sweet server. She brought us drinks, chips, delicious salsa and took our order. Wife and I ordered chicken fajitas for 2 which came with chicken with onions and bell peppers, refried beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole and sour cream. It was all delicious, but wifey said hers is better, since she adds MORE seasoning. We easily had 1/2 of the meal left over which we ate a day or 2 later. It was delicious the 2nd time around also. We ate here 10 years ago when we visited Branson. It is practically across the street from the Clarion Hotel. It is worth trying if you are in town.

Pinch Villas is our long-time favorite Mexican food restaurant in Branson. The food and the service is typically quite good. The chips and salsa are complimentary and very good. This time we ordered a chicken burrito and a ground beef chimichanga. Both were tasty. I was surprised that the chimi was covered in yellow cheese vs. white, but it did have a good flavor. The atmosphere is simple, Mexican decor.

It doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is very good. I was greeted and seated quickly and the one server/hostess was friendly and welcoming. Drink refills were quick to happen, which to me is the sign of the server paying attention. Chips were thin and crispy, salsa mild and chunky. My favorite combination! I ordered the enchiladas verde and was completely satisfied with my food. The presentation was impressive as well. I was not expecting that attention to detail. Even the rice and black beans were flavorful! Give this place a try!

Downing Street Pour House is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always really good, and…read moresome of my favorites are the salmon, the Black and Blue Burger, and their salads. They also have a kids' menu, even though it is not listed on the regular menu, which is nice to know if you are bringing children with you. The staff is always awesome, friendly, and welcoming. I also love that the restaurant is located inside an old historic hotel, which gives it such a cool atmosphere -- and maybe even a few ghost stories. Overall, it is a great spot with good food, great service, and a fun historic feel. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Let me just say that we have been to Branson twice for probably a combined dining experience number…read moreof around 12 times and this blew everything so far out of the water, it should be in it's own league. The poutine was fabulous. The fry coating was crisp and tasty and the gravy was full of flavor. The Reuben sandwich is outstanding! The way they cut that corned beef was nothing short of magic. An egg on there? What? I've never heard of such a thing, but yes please. And I had the brûlée corn; which I may need to learn how to replicate because I've never seen this on any menu in Chicago, but it's too far to travel as often as I'll be thinking about that dish! The old fashions were smooth! Went with vanilla and loved the subtle flavors. Everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was a delightful mix of old school pub/English castle. All of it was just what I was hoping to find. Food off the beaten path that deserves a huge shout out. In a town of bland flavors, this place shines like a real gem!
