10.99 for a SMALL CHILLI CHESSE FRIES??? What a rip off should be at least 6 for that size...

Counter with menu all over. You order here and wait at the table and they will serve the food to your table.

If you come here with high expectations, you might get disappointed. The Mexican food menu combined with the mainstream American breakfast and fast food menu gives you the average experience. The food was not that cheap but it seems you might get a dollar taco after 5pm and the dinner options are better price wise. The taco platter came with three tacos, fried beans, and rice. The chicken tacos are good with the spicy salsa sauce and plenty of cilantro. I liked how the rice was flavored. We also tried Buffalo chicken wings and they were not bad. It came with tons of fries. Just don't expect anything creative. If you want something simple, this is a safe place. The inside was nicely cleaned and it was cute that the waiter brought a small basket of tortilla chips and the salsa sauce and silverwares rather than having the disposal plastic ones on the counter. The lady who took our orders was very nice too. The eating space has no frills but the beachy wall art was cute. As it's in the tiny strip mall, there are not many parking slots and each slot seems a bit small. It's still not that hard to park here. I am not sure if we are looking forward to coming back here but I don't mind stopping by if we are close by.

This place needs flavor in there food its very bland. I had the taco plate and the meat was dry and warm not hot and juicy just warm and it had no flavor somebody needs to put some seasonings together and help that place out. I also ordered the shrimp cocktail and it was served to me warm WTF!! Shrimp cocktails should be cold and fresh. Maybe it was the cook on duty that night I dont know, but! what I do know is for my first time there a whole lot was wrong. Check your food before leaving. Or just go to the taco truck down the street at least you get good flavored food.

Birria is delicious! The best part the fresh handmade tortillas. You won't be disappointed. The service is great.

Small asada taco, $1, pretty good

For many years, I've driven by this place and never been there until now. The parking lot always looks full. My brother recommended the asada fries from this place. But, I'm not impressed. Given that this place seems to highly advertise inexpensive prices and Yelp reviews state that it's cheap, I didn't expect to pay so much for pretty bland food. And, I did read a few reviews that claimed the food was bland, and I do believe them now. I ordered the chicken hardshell tacos with the rice and beans, as advertised at the counter. There was no price tag on it, but I assumed it would probably be $7-8 bucks since most meals on the menu seem to be that way. I ended up paying $13 and some change. I added a $2 drink and $1 soft taco (which was the only food I actually enjoyed). So I thought my total would have probably come out to $10-11. And, you may say that I am being cheap, but hey, those few dollars of a difference does make a difference in deciding whether or not the food is worth it. And, it was not! The chicken in the tacos were very bland. The rice and beans looked very appetizing, but don't let that fool ya! This place needs to try to add just a bit more salt. I could've gotten tacos from Chipotle with guacamole and still pay less! And, food would've been way more flavorful! I was super disappointed with the quality of food. I like to support small businesses, but I can't with the quality of food. If the food was good, then maybe I wouldn't be so upset about paying $13 for the meal, but it wasn't. Especially since many reviewers were raving that it's inexpensive. I say bullpoop! I get the feeling this place mainly strives on their burgers and breakfast food options. They did have a variety of breakfast options. They even had chicken Teriyake with macaroni salad, a pretty odd item on the menu for a Mexican restaurant. Anyway, I would probably return to try the breakfast to see if maybe that's better. But, I still can't over the fact that I paid $13 and .75 (credit card charge) for the most disappointing food. I don't recommend this place. If anything, save your money, wait until 6pm and buy yourself better quality and inexpensive food at Doty's food truck across the street. Ugh $13 down the drain!!!

When I moved into my apartment in Gardena last year, I had only one food goal. That was to find an establishment within walking distance that I could walk to with great chili cheese fries. This is that place. With the location there are several hamburger stands within walking distance, but only Pancho's delivers the goods. The menu is pretty vast, ranging from American to Mexican with tasty breakfast foods in there too. There is no delivery, but you can phone ahead and it will be ready before you get there.

Burrito was good. Charge $.50 for debit and $.50 for water. Girl charging is really cute, so I'm coming back.

They started us off with chips, salsa, and a bean dip, which was a nice touch and something I don't see everywhere. I went with the two-item combo enchilada plate with shredded chicken and shredded beef, served with rice and beans. The portion size was very good - definitely satisfying - and the enchiladas were exactly what I was hoping for. This is comfort food for me, and this plate delivered. We also ordered the carnitas plate and the chile colorado, both served with rice and beans. The chile colorado had good flavor overall and was enjoyable. The carnitas had good flavor, though the texture was a bit inconsistent. Some pieces were tender, while others felt slightly overcooked or dry, which made a few bites less satisfying than they could've been. The salsa was good - not the best I've ever had, but flavorful and a nice complement to the food. Service was friendly, they took our order quickly, and the food came out fast. They were busy, so there was a slight delay at times, but still attentive when we needed them. Parking is mostly street parking, and when we went there was space available, though you may have to walk a little bit depending on the time. Overall, the portion size and value stood out to me. This is a solid, comforting Mexican spot, and I'd come back.

We normally call ahead to order our food, and it'll take roughly 10 - 15 minutes. Service is always solid - the workers are friendly and helpful. We normally get the carne asada/pollo fries and they're awesome. Fries are cooked perfectly (I swear there was a period of time where they coated the fries and that wasn't it, but thankfully they stopped), comes with the usual toppings like guacamole, onions, cilantro, etc. They top it with a hefty amount of juicy meat - both carne asada and pollo options are solid. Recently though I've been straying from fries and getting different dishes like the chicken flautas, enchiladas, and mulitas. Chefs kiss for each one. The rice and beans + salsa combo are also flavorful and pair nicely with the entree.

I ordered the Birria quesadilla and my fiancé ordered the Al Diablo Shrimp Burrito (ADSB). The ADSB was delicious and worth the price. The Birria Quesadilla should have included chips and salsa. It was only 3 taco sized portions with a side of consome and a slice of lime. In regards to the flavor of the Birria Quesadilla, it was delicious, but something I wouldn't order again. Overall, my experience was a great one. I would go back again to try something new.
